Hosts are a Jamaican family who live nearby and will make stay whatever guests want it to be; will leave guest alone or point to the real Jamaica. Within walking distance (200m) from "the strip" and New Kingston businesses, supermarket and hotels. One mile from major sporting venues, two miles from the major universities and 30 minutes drive from the airport.

Kingston's major night life center, the strip, with its night clubs, upscale restaurants, fast food outlets (Burger King, KFC, Pizza Hut etc.) are all within three minutes walk/ 30 second drive. Major supermarket, hotel, restaurant, pharmacy and gas station all within 30 second walk. Emancipation Park is a five minute walk away if a large green area with a range of public facilities in the middle of New Kingston is your thing.

Kingston's beaches are more famous for eating, drinking and "lyming" are a 30 minute drive away. The north coast beaches(Ocho Rios), Port Antonio and the South Coast beaches (Treasure Beach) are all about 2 hours drive away.
