Initial deposit to hold dates is 50% of total rate. The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to arrival. We payment using PayPal on our Kinsale Apartment website (www.kinsaleapartment.com) due to speed and cheaper service charges.
The refundable damage/cleaning deposit is due one week prior to arrival via PayPal/ and returned within 24 hours. Details will be emailed upon enquiry.
Terms and Conditions
Rental prices are inclusive of all utilities, linens and towels. Balance of rent is payable one month prior to arrival.
A €150 ***refundable damage deposit is required. After inspection and cleaning of the apartment, the damage deposit is returned via the post the day of departure. €300*** for Bank Holiday weekends.
There is a maximum capacity of five people. Smoking and pets are not allowed in the apartment.
The time of arrival is 4pm on the first evening and departure time is 10am on the last morning. However, if there are no visitors scheduled before or after a rental period, then the arrival and departure times may be flexible with advance confirmation.
Cancellation Policy
• Notice over 6 months we refund 90% of deposit.
• Notice over 3 Months we refund 50% of deposit.
• Notice less than 3 months we retain all of deposit.
• Holiday insurance is recommended to cover any change of plans.

Lovely cottage, great size and location.
We had 2 kids (2 yr old & 3 mn baby) and found heaps of space and good for a family.
It rained most of time we were there but still got to see the lovely streets. Lots of nice food places around and although we didnt get out as much, plenty to do on the water too.
Would definitely go back- beautiful area and apartment!
Also- margie was there to help explain things and was most helpful. Definitely recommend staying here! -

The Kinsale apartment was the ideal combination of comfort, flexibility, and geographically advantageous simplicity. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Margie, who was the consummate host, welcoming us to the apartment. Margie and alana thought of absolutely everything to make the stay worry free and relaxing, including helpful procedures and touring tips to consider during the stay. Margie was kind to provide a tutorial on the European utilities, which differ in function to U.S. machines, and explained how to connect to the internet so that we could stay connected with family. Conveniently located in the center of town, the Kinsale apartment allows visitors to easily explore the historical, gastronomic and outdoor adventures that abounds in Kinsale and the surrounding region. In sum, the apartment fit our needs completely and we look forward to returning to continue the Irish adventure. I would recommend the apartment 100 percent whether its for a long weekend, spring break with children, or a month long getaway in the quiet season!

First of all, this apartment was spotlessly clean- much cleaner than most hotels, making it a very comfortable stay. It had everything we could have needed, and the location was excellent. It is right above a fish and chips shop and within walking distance to pubs and other amazing restaurants. The food in Kinsale is excellent! One day we walked along the road to the fortress, stopping at The Spaniard and other pubs along the way. This apartment gave us a relaxing four days because we could walk everywhere in the town and cook at the apartment if we wanted to save money. We even used the gym vouchers and definitely used the information that Margie left for us about the town. Thanks for a wonderful stay, and if we go back to Kinsale in the future (we hope to!), we will definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for the Easter weekend and had a most enjoyable time. Booking was very straight forward, all communications was quick and helpful. Access was by code so arrival was very simple, no need for time scales, waiting around etc. Free parking was available to the rear of property, necessary in a town like Kinsale where streets are narrow.The apartment itself is in a great location just minutes walk to all facilities of the town.The apartment has great quality fittings and fittings, all the furniture was comfortable, clean and modern. The beds were particularly comfortable and warm with quality duvets, pillows and throws,- easter2013 very cold. Tv has irish channels,dishwasher, washer dryer all available.Joined by relatives for last night and all slept well and fitted aroud table/counter for breakfast. They equally enjoyed apartment for facilities and location.The apartment was spotlessly clean and paintwork and decoration was excellent. As good as apartment was the entire experience was improved by the owners, fresh daffodils,chocolates and various condiments including coffee our american cousins enthused over, were all available. They checked in on us the night of our arrival and were always available without being intrusive, kept in touch re cleaning deposit (repaid very promptly) so exemplary hosts. I only feel bad raving so much about good qualities of staying here because it probably won't be available the next time we want to visit.

Our family of five stayed in the apartment for 2 days and had a wonderful time. It is very comfortably furnished and nicely decorated. Everything we needed for our stay seemed to have been provided. In addition to the basics needed in every kitchen, there was plenty of dishware, utensils and several pantry items. The linens and towels were especially high quality. Margie was very helpful and easy going. The location was perfect, a very easy walk into town and convenient for the shops and restaurants of Kinsale. Would love to stay again.

My family of 5 stayed at Margie's house for 5 nights last summer (2012). The location could not have been better and accommodations were top notch. There is a fish and chip shop, that has great oysters too, right below the home but there is no noise whatsoever from the street or restaurant. Everything is within walking distance and free parking is in the lot next door. Highly recommended.

My family and myself have stayed here a few times and would highly recommend this very well equipped accommodation.
It certainly is home from home. Very comfortable, with everything you could need. Love the new internet wifi and laptop available.
Easy access to town, only a short walk.
We will certainly be staying here again.

We arrived from the USa and Italy as 4 friends. This was the 2nd time that we have stayed here. The home just gets better and better! The owners provided us with a cell phone and had a laptop and wifi. The home is so perfectly located. It is just a short walk to anywhere in Kinsale with free parking right next to the house. The decoration is so beautiful! The beds are heaven to sleep in! The pictures are exactly like the house. We are already planning our 3rd trip! I highly recommend this holiday home!

This was our 2nd time to stay here. Everything was perfect!! The house is immaculate with fresh flowers everywhere. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The lounge is so cute with comfortable furniture and a cozy gas fire! The kitchen is fully fitted with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, cooker and hob. We feel as if we have our own personal holiday home in the heart of lovely Kinsale. Just across the street is the Tap Tavern, where Mrs. Mary and Bryon treat you like honored guests. The same for Michael and his family down the street at the Lord Kingsale. There is a large car park just next door that is free. If I could design a perfect holiday home, this would be it! Farewell until next November, Margie & Alana and congratulations again!!!

We stayed in this cozy apartment for the Kinsale Jazz weekend. The apartment is in an excellent location. We were able to park our car in the free car park which is right next to the apartment, and leave it as we were able to walk everywhere. The apartment is fully equipped to a very high standard, it even has wifi. The beds were so comfortable, with cozy feather duvet. Excellent value for money. We loved the apartment and Kinsale and will definitely be back!

Just returned from wonderful 5 day break . Family of four - so all beds used. This apt really felt like home. All mod cons provided and well equipped. Lap top and internet access included. The beds are extremely comfortable and linens and towels provided are hotel quality. Its location is ideal for a stay in Kinsale. Everything is within walking distance - but still in a quiet location . No noise at night . Beautiful old church - just across road and easy parking in free public car park beside property - no trouble finding space even in high season.Restaurants in Kinsale are of highest quality- and pubs have lovely atmosphere. I must mention Mary in the Tap Tavern - who was a legend on all the local history and recommended great places to visit and where to eat. Their ghost tour at night is a treat for all!. I would recommend a visit to Kinsale and a stay in this apt . We even got four sunny days !

The apartment is very comfortable and clean, the towels and bedlinen provided is of the highest quality. The owners had also taken the trouble to put little vases of fresh flowers in the rooms. The laptop and internet access was a great bonus, as was satellite TV. The only negative thing, and it's not much of a negative is the huge mast beside the apartment which makes a loud intermittant humming noise, but when you get used to it, it is barely noticeable.

We have just come back from a lovely week at Kinsale apartment where we stayed with our 3 children, aged 6, 9 and 11. The apartment felt like a real home from home, with lovely furnishings and everything we could have wished for. It's in a great location, you just fall out of the door and you're in the centre of the lovely village of Kinsale with all the cafes, shops, pubs etc. There's a free car park right next door which is ideal. Never had a problem getting a space, but I don't know if that would change in the height of summer. The only slight surprise was a mobile phone mast right behind the house, but that didn't effect our stay at all.

Estuvimos esta semana santa en este apartamento, todo fue perfecto, se cuida hasta el más mÃnimo detalle. La casa está completamente equipada y preparada para estancias largas, además el trato recibido por parte de Margie fue excelente, siempre estando disponible a través del teléfono móvil que nos dejó en la casa para poder contactar con ella.
Por lo demás, Kinsale es un pueblo tan pequeño, que circular con coche a veces se hace complicado, lo mejor es dejarlo en el parking gratuito que está al lado del apartamento (a menos de 1 minuto andando) y perderse por sus calles. -

Margie was so helpful in making our stay extremely pleasant. Everything we needed was provided very nicely. The location was very close and within walking distance to Kinsale town. The stairs going up to the apartment would be a little difficult for those who are older and don't have the strength to carry luggage up the stairs outside and inside. No doubt, Margie would have someone to help should it be needed.

Margie and her team run a really professional service here end-to-end. They have thoguht of pretty much everything and yet still seek to improve. The accomodation couldn't be more central in Kinsale. It is to a high standard in decor and cleanliness. I would strongly recommend this over all other self-catering accomodation currently available in Kinsale if you seek centrality and are no more than 4 people. The accomodation can take more people but perhaps it begins to get generally tight on space then. Thanks go out to Margie for a great place !

Just in the door from a very short stay in the Kinsale appartment. Once inside the door it just feels very homely and relaxing. There isn't a rental feel about the appartment at all. Plenty books Dvds and videos as if you have walked into someones house which instantly settled us into the appartment.
It is superbly kitted out with everything you need. Its location is simply brilliant open the door and down the steps and your into the middle of Kinsale with all the fantastic bars and restaurants. We had 4 kids with us 10,7,4 and 2 so we tested the sleeping arrangements but they passed with flying colours.
We had a number of dealings with the owners over the phone but they were so easy to deal with and nothing seemed a problem. On reading the visitors book we were dissapointed not having met them as all reports suggest its worth meeting them. Hopefully next time.

We spent 7 days at this beautifully appointed apt.It is located right in town and easy to get to everything in Kinsale. Margie was the perfect hostess with frequent visits to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. We were so comfortable there we stayed home a few nights rather than go out. This is truly a 5 star place!

What a perfect location and apartment. We (5 adults) were close to everything yet no noise so we could sleep with the windows open. The apartment felt like home with all the comforts and the extras that Margie and alana supplied for the family. We had our dinner at some of the great spots in Kinsale and than came back to talk about the day and watch TV..lazy after the food and drinks.
I travel alot for work so I know that this apartment is an outstanding deal for the cost. And you can not ask for better, helpful and kind, landlords( short-term) than Margie and alana.
Can't wait to come back again.

My partner and I stayed in this beautiful apartment. I can't say enough good things about it. Margie is a wonderful hostess who goes out of her way to make her guests comfortable and to ensure their stay in Kinsale and Ireland is perfect. The apartment was spotless, bright, cheery and very tasteful. The kitchen is huge and well-equipped, the bed was very comfortable, and the location of the apartment is perfect. We walked all over Kinsale, even as far as the fort, enjoyed several local pubs, and could look out the apartment window at a church that dates from the 1400s (I hope I'm remembering that right). I will definitely stay here again. No criticisms at all. Kinsale itself is beautiful and a nice base for sightseeing across southern Ireland.

My family stayed for three weeks in July and overall this was an excellent stay. Margie was exceptionally helpful, providing activities for the kids in addition to useful advice. The apartment is clean and very convenient (a few minute walk to pubs, shops and restaurants). We arrived during Kinsale arts Week which was very busy, sometimes making it difficult to find a parking space in the adjacent free car park. It was also somewhat loud at night with people heading home from the pubs. However, it was much better when the arts festival finished.

The owners have thought of everything you might need, the cupboards are equipped with good quality cutlery and crockery. They have Cable TV, stereo, cd's, dvd's and videos.

From start to finish it had everything we needed, with a car park next door, and located in the heart of Kinsale town, it really is a gem location for any holiday! Lors de notre séjour en Irlande,qui passait par Dublin également, nous avons logé chez Margie à Kinsale. L'enchantement du village, le superbe soleil pendant 4 jours, et la location impeccable: 3 chambres, une salle de bains, une salle de douche et une salle d'eau, l'idéal pour une famille ou entre amis. L'accueil de Margie fait chaud au coeur, et elle nous a très bien accueillis. J'ai déjà recommandé l'adresse à d'autres amis, et c'est sûr, nous y reviendrons. Merci Margie pour cet endroit charmant.

We had a fantastic weekend in Kinsale staying in the apartment. The apratment is situated within walking distance to every area in Kinsale. It was very clean with each bedroom having an ensuite. The kitchen area was superb.

If you don't know how to drive in Ireland, then Kinsale is the town to stay in at this lovely apartment. You can tour the local town by foot, find excellent food and pubs with entertainment, enjoy the history, views, art and friendly people of Kinsale. The Kinsale Visitors Center offers you a variety of tours throughout Ireland. Every convenience is easily located from this visitor friendly apartment. I can't wait to visit again.

The pictures don't do this apartment justice. It is not fancy, not lux but warm, cozy, comfortable. The most comfortable beds I have slept in 3 trips to Europe. I was with my husband and our 2 adult children, we had 3 bedrooms. Location is not on the water, it is in the middle of the town. We walked easily to pubs and down to the waterfront for dinner. Kinsale is a good location for touring other areas and an easy drive to Cork City, which we also enjoyed. Now that I have stayed at Margie's, and seen it, I know we will stay there again and use it as a base for a more extended trip in the area.

We were met by Margie, co-owner with alana, upon our arrival. The apartment was easy to find, as it is in the most central location in the perfect town of Kinsale. I live in Italy, and met 3 friends from the USa there. The apartment is beautiful! We loved everything about it, including the fireplace in the sitting room. Everything about the property is top quality! The kitchen is a beautiful place, with a dishwasher and washing machine.
The most wonderful thing about this property is the knowledge of Kinsale given by the owners. Margie was so kind in telling us about what restaurants and pubs to go and visit. One was in a nearby town, and we would have never had that experience without Margie. She and alana were at the restaurant on the same night!
Each of the 3 bedrooms are so very beautiful and comfortable. The entire apartment is perfectly decorated. It is right across the street from a wonderful traditional pub, The Tap Tavern, where you instantly feel at home. There is ample parking in the free car park next door. You can walk to everywhere in Kinsale from the apartment.

Diva cafe in Ballinspittle is the great little treasure of a casual dining experience you never know who you will run into. We'll meet you there again some day I am sure. The brunches are as good as the dinners but with a cup of java and a newspaper!

Kinslale is a very nice town. It has many good bars, restaurants, pubs and shops. The apartment is very good located, just a five minute walk from the town center and with available parking spaces.
