This pretty little detached cottage in County Cork is able to sleep up to sleep up to six people in comfortable and spacious accommodation. This beautifully finished detached cottage is located on a small development in Garrettstown, close to Kinsale, in County Cork. The property itself provides a cosy living area and has been lovingly furnished and decorated throughout. Accommodation is comprised of an open fire in the sitting area, French windows opening onto the patio, a well-equipped kitchen and three good sized bedrooms. There is also a sandy beach close to the property, ideal for evening strolls and within easy reach for water sports e...nthusiasts.

Amenities: Oil central heating with open fire in sitting area. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Free-to-air channels, DVD player, stereo/CD player. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Patio with furniture, front lawned area. Off road parking for 2 cars. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles, pub 5 mins walk.

Town: Located at the mouth of the River Bandon, the village of Kinsale sits on the Atlantic coast in County Cork. Popular with visitors, it is famed for its marina, home to many luxury yachts and a number of sailing clubs. There is a selection of fine restaurants producing gourmet cuisine, and numerous fashionable bars and shops throughout the town. Kinsale itself has a rich history whilst its impressive architecture and narrow intersecting streets make it a wonderful holiday backdrop. The surrounding area is also home to a number of historical sites such as Charles Fort, and Desmond Castle – the latter being the home to the International Museum of Wine. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Very comfortable cottage so tastefully furnished with all mod cons and homely touches such as books, games, a first aid box and sewing things though we needed neither !! Welcome tray with tea, coffee, sugar, milk,Irish soda bread, butter, beer etc whatever extras previous people had left. Soap, toilet rolls, washing up liquid etc and extras there.
  Central heating and electricity for all appliances in rent.
  Excellent comfortable beds, duvets and linen and towels provided.
  Blackout blinds on dormer bedroom windows.
  Very quiet in cul de sac with green in front and sometimes cows at the back. Can hear and see the sea which is only a couple of minutes walk away. Beautiful clean sandy beaches with surfers on the waves.
  Need a car (we rented one from Hertz at Cork airport) to get around. We would have gone out more if we hadn't seen rain every day apart from the day we left but we did go to nearby Kinsale, Baltimore, Skibereen, Cork in between showers.Maps and tourist info leaflets in kitchen.
  There are two small supermarkets and a couple of other shops in Ballinspittle just over a mile away. Also recommend Hurleys there for lunch or evening meal.

  The cottage was comfortable and well apppointed and exceeded expectations.
  
  It is within a very short drive to general store in Balinspittle and within a few miles of Kinsale, a town oozing old world charm and history.
  
  Great view of the bay from the cottage.
  
  Music in local pub in Garretstown was advertised, but this is infrequent out of peak season (about once a month). However, this was a very minor issue, as there is a pub in Ballinspittle which has regular folk music
