Huddersfieldlovely cottage in superb location
Left on 05/17/2013 for a stay in May 2013
We had a lovely time in this beautiful tiny cottage just across the Churchyard from the pretty town of Kirby Lansdale. The cottage is on three floors with amazing spiral staircases between each floor, great fun but take a bottle for nightime toilet requirements as the good bathroom is two floors below the bedroom! Lovely terrace and gardens overlooking Ruskins View on the Lune, very high standards of furniture and fittings, except the dreadful tiny TV with tinny sound. Altogether a lovely place to stay. Be warned that you have to convey all your luggage across the Churchyard but they provide a trolley and a parking permit for the various car parks in the town. Highly recommended for a truly different stay

CardiffThe perfect getaway!
Left on 12/24/2012 for a stay in December 2012
We spent three nights there, and I should have booked weeks! Never wanted to leave that cottage. Everything about it was just delightful and romantic. The locals are also lovely people. My dog, a cavalier, also loved it too!

MiddlesbroughA quirky hideaway
Left on 10/08/2012 for a stay in September 2012
This cottage lived up to all our expectations. The view is superb, cottage had everything you could wish for and the welcome hamper was lovely. We already knew of the cottages position in Kirkby Lonsdale, if we hadn't the treck across the graveyard could have been disconcerting. Two notes of caution, the stairs are killers on the knees and Kirkby Lonsdale gets very booked up for evening meals in all the venues!

Builth Wells is 6 miles away. We live in the country.A delightful cottage in a unique position overlooking the Lune o
Left on 08/19/2012 for a stay in August 2012
This property has been superbly done up and is great fun to stay in. It has been well and tastefully equipped with suitable furniture apart from the bedding ! The duvet was too thick [ The White Company sells 4 and 8 tog duvets that can be joined together to give 12 togs ] and the pillows were horrible. Why not down or even feather ? The garden was lovely but in need of TLC { we spent some time dead heading and generally tidying up] The parking is obviously a problem and packing and transport is very difficult [we lowered suitcases out of the window rather than squeeze them down the stairs!] On the whole though we loved it and had breakfast out every morning on the terrace and had a wonderful drinks party for lots of old friends !! Thank you very much. Jonathan Reeves
