By Car Only 6 miles from the M6 Kirkby Lonsdale is easily reached by car.

By Train Kirkby Lonsdale is within easy reach of several main train stations including Lancaster (12 miles), Carnfourth (8 miles) or Oxenholme (8 miles with a bus service direct to Kirkby Lonsdale), all of which are on the West Coast mainline.

By Plane Manchester, Blackpool and Liverpool airports are all within an hour of Kirkby Lonsdale. Transfers can be arranged by taxi or by train from Manchester Airport direct.

Parking Although you can access the house by car in order to load or unload, there is no parking directly outside No.3 Horse Market. However, there is plenty of parking nearby in Kirkby Lonsdale and included with your stay is a parking permit that allows you to park for free in the local pay and display car park just 5 minutes from the house. This parking permit also allows you to park in any South Lakes district council pay and display car park anywhere in the local region which is ideal for when you are exploring the area.
