This three storey cottage in Kirkby Lonsdale sleeps four people in two bedrooms. 16 Horse Market is a cosy character cottage in Kirkby Lonsdale. This three storey property has a double and a twin on the second floor, a bathroom and a sitting room on the first floor, and a kitchen with dining area on the ground floor. Outside is a bench by the cobbles outside the front door. Parking can be found on the roadside. 16 Horse Market is in the heart of the town, close to the river, and the shops and eateries selling delicious local produce, yet is also close to good walking and cycling, and the National Parks of the Dales and the Lakes.

Town: Situated in the heart of the Lune Valley, mid way between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District is the attractive market town of Kirkby Lonsdale. This charming and historic town was mentioned in the 1086 Domesday Book and holds a market charter from the 13th Century. This market continues on a weekly basis every Thursday and offers a perfect opportunity for visitors to explore the variety of distinctive shops in the town as well as the many 17th and 18th Century buildings. The picturesque Lune Valley was popular with the artist Turner and is host to the medieval Devil's Bridge that spans the river. There is a wealth of quiet country lanes in the area that are ideal for exploring by car, bike or even on horseback. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods.
