This spacious, four bedroom property in Kirkbymoorside is able to sleep six people. This Victorian terraced house is located in the centre of Kirkbymoorside. Restored and decorated to a high standard throughout, this property provides comfortable, spacious accommodation for up to six people. Retaining many period features - including timber beams in the upper rooms, original fireplaces and an attractive tiled entrance hall – the cottage also comes with a well equipped newly fitted kitchen. For summer holidays, the property comes with a pretty cottage garden and patio, leading to lawned area and traditional vegetable garden which is ava...ilable for guests to use. There are also views of the church opposite, making this a central base for exploring a beautiful part of the country.

Amenities: Gas central heating with open fire in dining room & gas fire in sitting room. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV, DVD player, radio, CD player. All fuel & power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent, towels available for hire. Lockable cycle store for boots or bike storage. Roadside parking at front of property. Enclosed patio garden with bench, lawned area & traditional vegetable garden. Sorry, no pets & no smoking. Pubs & shops 3 mins walk. Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: Positioned on the edge of the North York Moors National Park and set between Helmsley and Pickering is the attractive market town of Kirkbymoorside. Full of traditional Yorkshire buildings, this pretty town is the centre for all local farms and villages. Visitors to this lovely settlement will find a variety of tea-rooms, pubs and restaurants in addition to a number of high quality antique shops. There is also a market every Wednesday. Nearby Pickering is also worth visiting as the base of the North York Moors Steam Railway. With excellent walking and cycling routes though the magnificent scenery of the National Park, in addition to villages of Hutton le Hole and Lastingham all within easy driving distance, visitors to Kirkbymoorside will be spoiled for choice.Read more

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Kirkbymoorside is very well situated for the North Yorkshire Moors and Burton House was perfect. My husband and I were there with our daughter and son-in-law and their 18 month old son.
  
  Burton House was ideal - it was a good size and well-equipped. The enclosed garden at the back was perfect for the toddler. It was good to have a bathroom and a separate toilet. We all like walking and were pleased to find a selection of walks available in the house.
  
  Although there is no off-road parking, we never had a problem parking two cars near the house.
  
  A small Co-op, a butchers and a bakers are all close by. We had good meals in the pubs and in the local Indian restaurant.

  Burton House is a lovely size, yet still manages to be cosy. My Husband, two Children & I had a wonderful time. The house was beautifully decorated & the lay out was ideal.

  we had a wonderful holiday in burton house kirbymoorside ,house was very comfortable and well equipped with a wonderful large garden . The location is excellant for exploring the area and local amenities such as shops and restaurants within short walking distance .Table set for tea and biscuits (provided) on arrival was a lovely touch ,We are hoping to return again next year

  We really enjoyed our stay, living in a village buying fresh bread and produce every day, popping to the shop for a morning paper, the locals are so friendly. The cottage is ideally situated for days out, we visited Whitby on the train, Filey and Scarborough. We would definately recommend and visit again. Cottage clean and comfortable, could do with a large tv in the lounge!
