Escape the city and enjoy the tranquility of staying on the foreshores of lower North Sydney - yet only minutes by cab to the city. Nestled between the heart of North Sydney business centre, this location boasts some of Sydneys spectacular views.
Kirribilli is one of Australia's older suburbs, with the first land grants in the area being granted by the colonial government during the 1790s. A scattering of Georgian and Gothic-revival houses and mansions were built in the 1830s, '40s and '50s. Most of these have since been razed. Originally, Kirribilli formed part of the Parish of St Leonard's and was served by a private ferry service. In a process which began in the 1860s, the area's old estates were subdivided. New residential streets were laid out and terrace houses, Victorian villas and, later, blocks of apartments erected. During the early decades of the 20th century, Kirribilli's shoreline was dominated by a large, multi-storey brick warehouse which was eventually torn down to make way for housing.
The suburb contains Kirribilli House (the official Sydney residence of the Prime Minister of Australia), Admiralty House (the official Sydney residence of the Governor-General of Australia), and the headquarters and marina of the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron.
Short scenic strolls take you to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, around the famous Luna Park which has a boardwalk wrapping around to Lavender Bay, Kirribilli House, Milsons Point Olympic Pool and Kirribilli Village. Be right in the centre of bustling cosmopolitan cafes, the best variety of restaurants with a fantastic selection of cuisines.
Ferry - our apartment is less than a 5 minute stroll to Milsons Point ferry terminal positioned under the harbour bridge. Travel one stop to the CBD at Circular Quay, visit the Taronga Park Zoo, visit historic Balmain, shop & eat at Darling Harbour or spend a day at Manly Beach.
Bus - a bus stop is directly outside the door accessing the city and northern suburbs.
Walks - A fantastic selection of the best walks that Sydney has to offer with along the harbour foreshore, to the North Sydney CBD or into the city.

Kappa was unbelievable. Our party was 4 adults and 4 kids and stayed for 5 nights. The location to the ferry and train station was great, but the best thing was the view. Sitting in the morning drinking coffee on the couch and looking out upon downtown Sydney, the Opera House, and the Bridge was great, but when the sun sets and the light reflects off the surfaces and the downtown lights begin to appear it is so memorable. This place is the priceless part of the Mastercard experience.

Kappa is a superb apartment with amazing views, first class accomodation, 5 star finish and lots of space.
It's privacy and proximity to the city make it a brilliant place to stay should you be doing business in the CBD as we were! -

I booked this appartment for my extended family and I to stay in Sydney for Christmas and New Year to celebrate a couple of special occasions. It exceeded our expectations in ever way. The views - both unbelievable and continually intriguing- along with the level of style and comfort of the appartment made this the best place we have ever stayed. It had everything we needed and was absolute luxury. It is a stone's throw away from the great resturants and cafes of kirribili and milsons point ferry is a five min walk. There is also the benefit of a pool which seems to be rarely used by residents so is very relaxing. Overall we could not ask for the most amazing place to stay and we would return in a heartbeat.
