We ( my wife and I) are both seniors based in the UK and have stayed in a condominium within Windsor Palms Resort each January for the last 7 years. This year we booked our accommodation through the Trip Advisor and VillaDirect websites. Palm Vista, a three bedroom condo more than satisfied our requirements.
Windsor Palms is an excellent resort, its location being perfect for us as Seniors. It is situated just a few minutes drive off Highway 192 via Formosa Gardens Boulevard and is within easy reach of a huge number of Restaurants on the 192. There are plenty of good quality Supermarkets for those who like to self-cater, and the myriad of attractions that saturate the area are all within easy driving distance. The I-4 Interstate is close by - but not too close - and Orlando's bright lights are half an hour away.
VillaDirect's standards of Customer Service are, in our opinion, outstanding. From the first e-mail enquiry that we made, to our subsequent telephone conversations with VillaDirect's Ron Patterson, and right through until our departure from Orlando at the end of our stay, we received friendly, courteous and professional service from everyone at VillaDirect. Our condo was beautifully furnished, on the top floor of the 3 storey condominium blocks, (regrettably there are no lifts but we were aware of that from previous visits) and had been fully and carefully prepared prior to our arrival. Standards of cleanliness do vary, as we have found out in the past, but our condo was impeccably clean and it was obvious that great care had been taken to ensure that all was in order. From contact with staff at the Agent's office shortly after our arrival to report a minor problem (the battery on one of the smoke alarms need to be replaced) it was clear that VillaDirect place great emphasis on Customer care. We will have no hesitation in making a booking through them for our next visit.

My sister and I are now adults (mid to late 20's) and decided we wanted to surprise our parents with a trip to Disney World on us! We also invited our aunt and uncle and choose to stay at the Palm Vista because it was much more affordable for accomodating the number of people we were traveling with. Having taken Disney vacations many times in my youth, this was my first time staying off the Disney resorts and I was worried, but it was great! The condo was quiet, clean, and spacious. Plus it was a very quick and easy trip to all the Disney Parks! This location also had a pool, spa, movie, and game room which gave great options to an older crowd who wanted to do more on vacation than just Disney parks. I have very few complaints other than it would have been nice if some cleaning supplies were available to guests in the condo- there is no room service or daily cleaning so we had to go to the grocery store to buy basics that way we could keep up on wiping down counters or doing day to day cleaning... and of course we couldn't fly those supplies back home so it felt like a waste of money and a bit of an inconvenience. Also be warned: We were on the third floor with no elevator so anyone traveling with older people (as we were) or anyone with limitations: be sure they won't mind going up and down several flights of stairs throughout the day. Besides those two very minor complaints, I will absolutely plan to stay here again on a disney vacation in the future! My family agreed it was the best Disney vacation we had ever taken!

We're very pleased to read that you had such a great time. Regarding your 2 complaints....
Please tell us next time you come to stay if you need a condo with an elevator, as we have other communities that are just a close to Disney which provide them, or you may also consider booking a town home with a private pool. As for the groceries and supplies, we do understand your comment that "it feels like a waste" to leave those behind. We regret that we're not allowed to leave foodstuffs, condiments or cleaning materials behind from previous guests. We are currently looking at providing a cleaning supplies box in the homes for guests use, which would reduce the need to go and buy such items for each guest.

We had a wonderful time while staying at Palm Vista. It was just like a second home to us!! We want to go back but this time stay longer!! The home was very clean and organized and we loved all of the features like the flat screen cable TV, microwave and washer/dryer. It is so close to all of the parks and shops that can be enjoyed while there. What we liked the least was having to leave.

Although it's been a couple of years since we stayed at this rental place, it was really the best vacation I have ever taken my kids on. The unit was spacious and exceeded all of our expectations. We would definitely rent again. I would advise renters to allow a day just to spend at the facility, because we were so busy going places and there was such a beautiful pool and game room that I think it would have been nice just to stay put for a day or two to enjoy it fully. We would LOVE to win the free giveaway! Happy vacationing!
