This was our first trip to Florida and one we will remember. The booking of the accommodation was really easy on-line and all directions and instructions were very clear.
Our accommodation was perfectly situated just off the 192. The Disney parks were easily accessible just off the I4 or 192 (depending on which park). Also there is a huge Walmart just around the corner, great bonus for all your supplies.
The village itself was lovely and clean and we all felt safe especially with the night security team. Everyone was friendly. We all enjoyed the the use of the pools both during the day and late evenings.
Our landing lights were not working and within 24hrs of reporting this to Lowery's the lights were fixed. That's service!
Overall experience was one to remember. Will definitely use again. Thanks -

Left on 03/23/2011 for a stay in March 2011
The townhome was exactly what I was looking for. Nice living room and very spacious master bedroom and bath. The kitchen was equipped for many different kinds of meals. Upstairs the rooms were nice for any additional guests. Security was very friendly and I enjoyed everyone's attention to details. Great place to stay minutes from many Florida attractions.

- Clogged master bedroom bathtub
- Clogged kitchen sink
- Bad clothe dryer
Barely spent any time at the house because we were busy going to the parks. I was charged $169.50 for two window screens that we did not damaged, very disappointed!
I tried contacting the manager but he won't talk to me. The receptionist said he will send me an email with an explanation and pictures, but I never received anything. It is very unfair to pay that much money for damages that was there prior to my arrival.

Manager
Dear Guests,
We would like to thank you for posting a review of your recent stay of June 22 -27, 2010
I would like to apologize for any inconvenience you may have had in the home. Upon reviewing your booking
we can see that you called on June 22, 2010 at 6:00 pm to our Emergency Line in regards
to the Master Tub not draining. We had our service at the home within the hour and this was corrected for you.
The other items you mention on the home; clogged sink and bad dryer, these were not reported to our office.
As Our guests are our main concern at all times, we would have been to the home immediately to take care
of any further concerns you may have had.
On June 27th, our cleaners were at the home you departed from and noticed upon arrival to the home
that there were 2 screens laying on the upper roof deck. As the screens can only be removed from the interior
these were removed while you were in the home. There were also several cigarette butts on the roof shingles.
Considering they were new and not aged, they can only be current from your guest. The screens when removed
had to be forced out since they were bent and could not be put back into the windows. Since they were damaged
we had to have 2 screens made and installed into the windows with 24 hours or we would be fined by the HOA.
On June 28, 2010 you had contacted our office in regards to your recent stay.
At this time we had explained the situation to you and the email sent which
described all the items and photos as well to be viewed. You stated you did not receive
the email and we resent this to you once again.
On July 1, 2010 you had contacted our office once more to say that the photos were not
the home you rented, however, you can see the address of the property in the photo.
On this same day, one of our property managers spoke to you in detail of the events. You
stated you wanted to talk to someone higher up. The manager you spoke to was the person
to talk to. Also you stated in your Response that the damaged screens were there upon your
arrival, however, when asked if you saw these, you said you do not remember.
We are sorry that the home was not what you expected however, if we would have been notified we could have addressed all of your concerns for you. Thank you, your Lowery’s Team. # 121017

We have used Lowery's several times and always been more than pleased. However, this time we were very disappointed. The worst compaint was the conditon of the mattresses: they were in bad shape. They had a valley in the middle and the springs were very promenant- it was like sleeping on a bed of nails. The carpeting was in need of replacement as it was badly stained and even had burn marks from an iron. Also, the thermostat for the heat and air has a governor on it and the temp could not be raised or lowered- we never ran into this in any of the other units we have stayed in at Lowery's. I have asthma and when the weather is humid and warm I need to be able to have air conditioning set at atleast 72, preferablely 70 in order to breath comfortably. This unit could not be set lower than 75.
We most likely will stay with Lowery's in the future, but will never request this unit again.Response from Lowery's Vacation Homes - 04/23/2010
Manager
Dear Guests,
We would like to thank you for posting a review of your recent stay from March 7 - 20, 2010.
We are concerned about your comments and have therefore investigated your points raised.
We would like to apologize for the carpets in your home. The previous guest had accidentally burned the rug and we are in the process are replacing the carpets. Time did not allow for this prior to your booking, our apologies to you.
We have looked into your booking and found the office was not contacted at anytime during your 13 night stay. We would have responded immediately to any request that you may have had and sorted out any concerns in the home. I apologize for the AC we would have sent someone to the home to adjust this for you and or remove the box if so needed. A guest checked out the day of your arrival so the AC was running correctly for the previous booking of 8 days in the home.
We have contacted the owner of the home on your behalf in regards to the beds and will get this replaced as soon as we are able.
We are sorry that your stay was not what you had expected, our apologies to you and your family. Our guest are important to us and we aim to do our very best for all guests in all of our homes.
Regards, your Lowerys Team # 119813

Overall we had a very nice stay. The home was conveniently located for our
needs. The amenities of the property were nice for our family. It was relatively
quiet as well. Our biggest complaint were the beds, especially the king
downstairs. It was very uncomfortable. We debated going to buy an eggcrate
to use on it the week we were there because the springs in the mattress were
so prominent. The kitchen utensils were a little sparse as well, but enough for
us to cook with. The property was clean and we felt safe. We would stay on
the property again, but not in this unit. -

Left on 01/23/2010 for a stay in December 2009
We loved the community, and the house was very nice. But the mattresses were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. After the first night, we actually purchased an air mattress that we placed on the bed. We felt that the living room carpet was very dirty. We also ended up purchasing our own dishwasher soap and paper towels so we could clean up the kitchen after we had eaten there. We feel that these basic supplies should be provided, as that's been our experience with other vacation rentals that we've stayed in. Response was good when we had problems with the heater/AC.

Ants and a lizard in the home
Living room furniture not comfortable for relaxing
All of the beds were horrible
A couple of the towels looked dirty
Refrigerator door should be reversed to open it easier
Not properly informed about parking permit
Should have a lock box at the property to pick up check in packet since it is a gated property
Power outage for about three hours
No hot water in second floor bathroom
Club house should be open 7days a week it is a vacation community and people vacation on all seven days.

Dear Guests,
Thank you for posting a review of your recent stay.
I was concerned to read your comments and have therefore investigated the points raised.
We would like to apologize if you felt the home was not comfortable during your stay. We ask all of our guests if they have any questions or concerns during their stay to call us to address any concerns.
We have notified the owner of the home on your behalf of your concerns.
When the home was booked you were given an option for an Express Check in or Standard Check in for your stay. The Express Check in would have allowed you to go directly to your home, you opted for the Standard Check in which meant you had to come to our office which is 10-15 minutes from the property.
In regards to the power, we cannot control the weather that had caused the power outage, so we apologize for your inconvenience.
The Venetian Bay Resort you stayed at, governs the community, club house and pool which is all set by HOA Standards for the residents that live in the homes and the guests that stay in the community.
The home you stayed is a private residence in the community.
We are sorry about the incidents during your stay.

The condo had plenty of room and since we were right outside the pool area I felt our location was excellent. I would have liked the clubhouse to have nighttime hours as it is a really great place to hang out, but overall the whole resort area was very nice. The pool area was very clean and so was the hottub. The condo itself was very accomodating and although the carpet had some stains, it was very clean and roomy. It is the perfect was for a family of six to travel. We saved money by cooking dinner and breakfast. I would stay there again.

Left on 06/25/2009 for a stay in June 2009
We started our vacation with a 13 hour drive to the townhouse. When we arrived, we walked into the townhouse and it was 93 degrees on the inside. The air was not working! As soon as we arrived, we had to call for maintenance. It took way to long for them to arrive. However, they did fix the air and we were grateful. We also arrived to no toilet paper or soap in the townhouse. I understand that you are required to purchase your own supplies, however we intended to come in after a 13 hour drive, go to the restroom and then find the grocery store to get the needed supplies. It was disappointing to arrive after such a long drive and not even be able to use the restroom properly.
The townhouse was just as described in the pictures. While we did get off to a rocky start, we were able to enjoy the rest of the vacation. There are just some things that should be checked and taken care of prior to a guest arrival. It definitely should NOT be 90 degrees in the home and there should at least be a roll of toilet tissue as a courtesy!!!
The pool had WAY to much chlorine in it. In fact, we only went to the pool the first night. After leaving the pool, we had to find a drug store to get eye drops for the kids because their eyes were burning so bad from the chlorine. This should really be checked.Response from Lowery's Vacation Homes - 07/20/2009

Dear Guests,
We would like to thank you for posting a review of your recent stay.
I would like to apologize for any inconvenience you may have had in the home.
When you called on the AC at 8:30 pm, we immediately called our AC Tech and they were
at the house within 1 hour. The AC was addressed and corrected for you.
The AC was at 73 degrees and is listed as being checked at 1:00pm that day, prior to your arrival.
Unfortunately, we cannot control a mechanical issue on the AC. I am glad this was sorted for you.
In regards to the toilet paper and soap, every bathroom has the toilet paper and soap in them.
We only wish that you would have called the office on this or alerted our staff when you
spoke of the AC, we had of had housekeeping come out immediately to the home for you.
The Towne Home you stayed at is managed by Venetian Bay, we only manage the home in the
community for our private owners. We have alerted Venetian Bay about the Swimming Pool concern on your behalf.

Orlando, FloridaHad some issues
Left on 04/21/2009 for a stay in April 2009
When we travel we like to be pampered and when you are paying for someone's mortgage for a week of rental you should be. I thought it was ridiculous that we had to travel to the Lowery's office to pick up our packet. There was no key to pick up just a bunch of paperwork and the office location was in the opposite location to the town home. After a long flight that's the last thing you want to do is to travel all over the place. The grounds to the town home were wonderful but the unit itself needed some TLC. The blinds were plastic, broken, and did not provide enough darkness from the lamp post light outside the town home. The carpet was dirty and had an iron mark in the living room. The master shower head was broken, several lights were burned out throughout the unit. The beds were absolutely awful. I suggest a manager stay at this unit and sleep in any of the beds. There were no pillow cases on any of the pillows in the unit and the blankets were something I'd give to my animals at home. The unit could use some new paint, maybe color and updated furniture.
I also was disappointed that there was not Kleenex, toilet paper, or extra trash bags at the unit. We had to call Lowery's and no one ever answered the phone, I did leave a message about some of the issues and did get a return phone call but it was not a warm return. We came home our final day and there was a book that had information about the area and our stay that would have been helpful our first day not our last.We travel a great deal and I would not use Lowery's again. With all the choices travelers have today, Lowery's really needs to step up their game.

Dear Guests,
We would like to thank you for posting a review of your recent stay.
I would like to apologize for any inconvenience you may have had in the home.
All of the homes are privately owned homes that we manage for owners when
they are not in property.
With the check in all homes have the option of an Express Check In which allows
you to go to from your home directly to the vacation home. This option is made
available to every booking, you denied this request when this was booked online.
The express check in is there for the guest to make their travels smoother for them.
In reading your items of concern, we only ask that you contact the office if you feel
the home is inadequate and we would get this concerns addressed for you. The home
was checked prior to your arrival and was in clean / shape condition.
Of all the items listed our office was not contacted on any of your concerns. We would
have made them right for you if needed or moved you to another property if needed.
In regards to the toilet paper and soap, every bathroom has the toilet paper and soap in them.
We only wish that you would have called the office on this or alerted our staff when you
spoke of the AC, we had of had housekeeping come out immediately to the home for you.
Every booking is given an After Hours Emergency number to call if there are any concerns
that need to be addressed.
I would like to apologize if you felt you were not treated warmly and will address the staff on this.
