Terra Verde is an exclusive gated community in Kissimmee just a 15 minute easy drive to Disney World and only a 3 minute drive to all of the great restaurants, shopping and dinner theatres.

We stayed in the Thurlow's house five nights in May. All of us enjoyed the stay and the kids enjoyed the backyard pool and the community pool very much. With plenty of space and a kitchen we enjoyed the stay. The check-in and check-out process was smooth; thanks to the advanced information on several procedures. The house is in an excellent location within few miles drive to several parks.

Stayed with the family at Terra Verde Resort Villa and had a great experience. The resort is clean and the house had everything needed for our 3 generations of family members. Location is very convenient (next to Disney World, Sea World and other local attractions). I can definitely recommend the villa e.g. for a family looking for an active vacation near Orlando!

Enjoyed the stay at Terra Verde. The security was excellent, which gave us a great feeling. Loved the fact that we had our own pool...so easy with children to just go in the pool and then straight to the shower! The pool was clean and well maintained. Overall the condo was clean and well stocked. The showers could have used a bit more grout cleaning, but it was nothing that would stop me from staying at the location. Beds were comfortable, which was great after a long day at the parks. Check in and out was very easy and went well. We needed a bit later check out time and they were very accomadating for this. This was our first vacation rental and it went so smoothly, which we really appreciated. Thanks for a great stay!!

It was everything I hoped it would be. The Resort was beautiful as well as the house. I loved that we were close to everything Disney, shopping, and restaurants. The kids loved the resort pool and hot tub. I would do it again for sure.

The townhome is wonderful, well equipped with utensils and completely furnished.
The external area with swimming pool is wonderful too.

The unit was clean, comfortable. We felt quite safe. It was located near a lot of services. I would gladly stay there again. My husband, daugther and son-in-law had a lovely time. The owners were very helpful and pleasant.

This was our fourth visit to the Terra Verde Resort, and our third visit at John and Elizabeth's place, and quite possibly, our best visit yet. There were five of us traveling (children are aged 16, 14 and 8) and we are always amazed by the amount of room we have - all the kids had their own bedroom and what a luxury having three full baths! Though we used to stay on the Disney grounds, all of the kids agree that they would rather stay at Terra Verde, specifically John and Elizabeth's place! First, the security at the resort is top-notch - so friendly, and so secure! The check in process that John and Elizabeth have is the best we have encountered renting a private residence. So easy! And the condo itself? We truly feel it is our home away from home. It is spotless. The new furniture in the living room is so comfortable and high quality. And the bedrooms are wonderful! The kids all said they slept great, and I think it was the best sleep I had had all year. We did keep the air conditioning on (we were blessed with perfect weather) but it was also nice to have the ceiling fans on low - making us even more comfortable! We all agree that the best part of the vacation was having our own gorgeous, sparkling clean pool - and all screened in so no bugs! The kids were in the pool as soon as they woke up! Bottom line is - our vacation was incredible - the extras in the house truly made it feel like a home. Everything you need is there - washer, dryer, loads of towels and linens, movies for the kids to watch, Play Station, fishing poles - you name it, it is there. And the resort itself is lovely - the clubhouse has a great small gym, a huge pool with an outdoor bar (which serves food too) and free wireless internet! Thank you to John and Elizabeth for being such fantastic hosts and for helping our family make some great memories. We sincerely appreciate all you do to make our vacations happy!!!

We shared this house with another family (4 adults, 2 kids) for an 8 night getaway over spring break, and couldn't have asked for a better spot. John and Elizabeth were incredibly friendly and responsive (and patient) with all our questions. The house was spotless, there was plenty of room for everyone, and the pool was a godsend after a crazy day at the park. We have already been recommending the place to friends, and just hope that there will be room for us the next time we visit Florida! Kudos to John and Elizabeth, and thanks for your contribution to a fantastic holiday!

We had a party of 7, one was an infant and the home was perfect. The weather was very cold so we didn't get an opportunity to use the pool, but it was lovely to look at and we wished we could swim. Private, clean, comfortable, well stocked.. and with 2 families staying in one home it worked excellent. My daughter and her family upstairs and my husband and I in the lower floor. They were even able to accommodate us with a crib and high chair.

My family of four recently traveled to Disney World along with two sets of grandparents. When we arrived at the villa, we immediately felt right at home. It was wonderful to have so much beautiful space, and the kids loved the pool. The master bedroom was especially nice. We will definitely be returning!

We had a wonderful vacation at the Terra Verde Resort. The villa was well equiped with everything to make us feel right at home. My family enjoyed the private pool at the villa as well as the community pool and hot tub at the club house. We even saw a gator in the lake! I would rate this vacation home 5 stars and would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested.

The location of this townhouse is an ideal place to stay while experiencing all the Kissimmee/Orlando area has to offer. After a day of activity it was a joy to come "home" to clean, cool, well kept accommodations with utilities well stocked in the kitchen for cooking, should you decide to stay in for the evening. A refreshing dip in the pool, which was obviously monitored for cleanliness, was a treat. Not having a pool myself, I feel whatever one does to keep a crystal clear pool it was accomplished at this townhouse association. Plenty of towels, plenty of room, and comfortable furniture. John and Elizabeth are concerned owners who made themselves available for questions and communication. Very impressive. Would I stay there again? - you bet!

Our extended family - grandparents, adult children and grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The proximity to Disneyworld was ideal. The house was very well equipped. The baby amenities - high chair, playpen and baby gate were appreciated. We enjoyed the pool at the house but our grandchildren particularly liked using the larger pool at the clubhouse. The arrangements with the rental company went very smoothly. Our only problem - the temperature of the pool - was addressed to our satisfaction. Our only problem was having to throw away food that we hadn't eaten at the end of our stay. Also being Canadians we found that the lack of a recycling program bothered us. The only thing about the house that we found annoying was the sound of the air conditioning unit on the upper floor. With a baby in the house it was particularly loud. We would highly recommend this house for families wanting a Disney holiday.

My family and I stayed at the Terra Verde Resort 4Bdrm villa during our spring break in March 2010. The townhouse itself had everything we needed, was tastefully decorated, and nicely cleaned. The information provided in the website for this townhouse is exactly what you can expect to find. It provided us with the perfect getaway after a day of fighting crowds in the Disney Parks. The gated community was quiet and well kept up. We didn’t use the club house so I cannot comment on the services provided through them. We had no problems during our stay. The owners are very accessible and go out of their way to ensure that your stay is exceptional (and ours was). The villa itself is close to all the tourist attractions Orlando has to offer; as well as to the Interstates that will take you to the attractions that are a bit further away. I loved how the property was away from the main drag; it felt safer and was much quieter than just a mile up the road. If we are able to get back down to Florida and they are still renting out their villa, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you John and Elizabeth!!

This is the second time we have rented this beautiful vacation home from the Thurlow family, and if possible, our trip was even better than our first trip!
Since visiting in 2009, John and Elizabeth have done some wonderful updates - most notably, the mattress/boxspring in the master bedroom was replaced and it's SO comfortable!
The rental company that the Thurlow family uses is top notch - they were helpful, friendly, and receiving/returning the keys was easy since the company is just a few minutes from the Terra Verde resort.
The temperature was cool this year during the first half of our stay, but our children never noticed since the pool was SO warm! The pool was heated, but the Thurlow family also purchased a solar cover which made the pool even warmer! What a luxury to have the pool right at the home - and it was so clean and well cared for!
The home was, again, SPOTLESS, as it was during our last visit - and so well-stocked with everything and anything we needed. The Thurlows have thought of it all - great kitchen supplies, fishing poles, laundry basket, beautiful applicances, hair dryers, DVD players, and PLENTY of towels!
The Terra Verde resort was wonderful again too! We used the computers in the Clubhouse, and we also used the gym facility, which was great. My youngest daughter loved the playground, and my son loved the arcade! We didn't use the pool at the Clubhouse this year, but we did last year - it, too, is clean and luxurious. During my morning runs around the resort, I noticed again how clean and well-maintained the resort is - and we all noticed how friendly all the Terra Verde staff is, especially the guards at the entrance gate!
The Thurlow family has thought of every detail to make a trip to the Orlando area easy, fun and completely enjoyable - THANK YOU, John and Elizabeth, for helping our family create some wonderful memories. We can't wait to book our next vacation with you! -

It was such a terrific holiday and staying at terra verde was a wonderful decision. We thoroughly enjoyed having our own home, cooking our own meals, swimming in our own lovely pool, sleeping in comfortable beds. We also appreciated the quiet and private atmosphere of the home and resort. The home was tastefully decorated, very conveniently located to parks, shopping and restaurants. We were impressed with the management company who dealt with a small issue very quickly, and we also were pleased with the terra verde staff who were very willing to share helpful information regarding our holiday decisions. I would highly recommend this townhome, and will be doing just that in the future.

We are a South African family of six and can thoroughly recommend this home. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, clean and tidy and had all that we needed. We stayed at John and Elizabeth's home for a week with four children aged 3-10. The home served as a perfect place to decompress after the frenetic pace of Disney World. We loved having the ability to prepare our own meals in their well equipped kitchen. Having a washer and dryer made packing a lot easier. The home is in a very safe, gated community with a resort pool that my children loved. The house and pool were super clean and gave us lots of space to move around. (This is not true in a hotel room!) Terra Verde Resort is an easy fifteen minute drive to Disney so we where able to come home for a break in the afternoon before returning later in the day. John and Elizabeth were extremely easy to contact and made our registration and check-in quick. This was our best vacation stay ever, and we would recommend this home to anyone traveling to Kissimmee!

We absolutely loved the use of this home from the moment we saw the Terra Verda sign and entered the security gates. (The uniformed guard was more than polite and helpful.)
The home itself was very spacious and visually appealing! There is a bedroom downstairs and three upstairs which was plenty for my family. We swam every morning in the patio pool and the resort pool.
One of the best features other than the accommodations was the number of towels provided! There were so many that I didn't have to wash until the last night of a 6-day stay! (and I have a neatnick germ a phob family who doesn't reuse anything before washing!).
The kitchen was more than well-equipped. I loved the toaster even (digital) and I am looking for one now.
So, overall, let me assure any future guest that you will not be disappointed in anyway. The price is right. The process is right. The resort is right. We will definitely reserve this home exclusively anytime we visit Orlando.

I promised my three grandsons to a home with a pool that was close to everything. It was the best decision I've made in a long time. John and Elizabeth's house is beautifully maintained and the management company responded immediately to any of our concerns.
We arrived on a Sunday and there had been a lot of rain which made the pool overflow. I called the management company that night and the next morning the pool company was there servicing it and the boys were swimming within an hour.
We were also promised fishing poles but couldn't locate them. When we returned to the house the next day there were two brand new poles and all the paraphenalia needed to fish, sitting waiting for us.
They have prepared this house for any age child and my one-year old grandson was able to get around without our worrying he would get hurt.
This was a very relaxing vacation for all of us without all the hassles associated with renting a house.
As I said, it's the best decision I've made in a long time and I would highly recommend them. -

This is a fantastic place to stay if you are touring Florida. We are a family of
six, and found this home to have ample room for everyone.
Our girls loved coming back from a very busy day at the parks and unwinding
in our own splash pool. The property is very clean and modern. The grounds
also are very welcoming.
If you are looking for a "home like" feel while doing the Disney World thing this
is the place for you.

My family and I stayed at this property from April 23-28, 2009. I can't say enough how wonderful our stay was. We had a total of 4 adults and 4 children and enough room for us between the 4 bedrooms available with our own cable television. For the kids, the best part of the townhouse is the heated pool for the kids and the playstation in a seperate room. The resort also had a community pool; however, we did not visit since the kids enjoyed the pool at the townhouse. Also, the Terra Verde townhouse was located at a quiet location which was nice after spending all day at Walt Disney World which was only a 10-15 minute drive from the resort. In addition, the townhouse is only 3 miles from numerous restaurants and only 3-4 minutes from Walmart. All I can say is thank you to the owners, John and Elizabeth, for going out of their way to make our stay so memorable. We can't wait to come back for another stay!!

John & Elizabeth's condo at Terra Verde in Orlando was simply wonderful. Last year our family stayed at a different condo and enjoyed our time in the Terra Verde resort area....In searching for a condo for our April 2009 trip, we stumbled upon John & Elizabeth's website. We called them and they were SO helpful. I knew from my first communication with them that this was going to be a great experience. And it WAS! Even exceeded our expectations which were already high! Terra Verde is a great place - gated, gorgeous clubhouse with lots of amenities (I loved the workout room with good, clean equipment), private lake, great playground. And while all the condos seem nice, I can't say enough about John & Elizabeth's. Clean clean clean, filled to the brim with everything you need! There were seven on us there, and we never felt crowded - four bedrooms and three full baths - so luxurious compared to staying in a hotel suite! While I didn't need a pack n play or high chair, I did use the iron and ironing board. I loved the fact that the condo had fishing poles - what an extra treat for the kids! Hair dryers were provided, lots of towels/linens/blankets, all kitchen supplies, and what a treat to have a washer and dryer available. Especially since the kids were constantly in the private, screened-in pool! It was sparkling clean, SO warm, and even though I am not normally a pool person, I even went in daily - it was too pleasurable to pass up. Overall, this was one of the best vacations we have taken to Orlando. It has been years since I have written such a positive review about a travel experience, but John and Elizabeth, and their lovely, welcoming condo, deserve every nice word. HIGHLY recommend!
