The house was very clean, spacious, and nice.
We arrived in the neighborhood to an awful- sewer smell. I grew up in a town with a paper mill, so it takes a lot to choke me up, but for 2 days were all felt sick from the odor. We called Magical Memories and we were told they could not move us and could not control a neighborhood smell. Too bad the nice home was in a lousy area. Most of the neighbors still had out fallen Christmas lights that they continued to turn on!!! The house across the street had many guest each day and they stayed well into the night. Needless to say, there was a lot of noise after dark.
It really is too bad theat the house is not in a better neighborhood.
Suggestion to Magical Memories.......Run a shuttle van from the airport. I would have gladly paid a fee to be taken to the office rather than spending 2 house on a city bus, then walking 8 blocks with a week's worth of luggage. The taxi fees from the airport to the office was $150. That is more than the price of a nights rental!!!Response from Magical Memories Vacation Rentals - 03/22/2010

Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding your concerns. The shuttle van is a great idea that we have discussed previously. We were unable to generate enough clients to use the shuttle van to justify its expense. The taxi ride does sound expensive. Please contact our front desk for alternative solutions. I can not imagine how terrible the smell was to make you feel so badly. While we would love to rectify the situation we have been unable to duplicate the scenario. Finally, we take great care to make sure all of our homes are located in communities suitable for travelers. I once had to stay on a floor below a baseball team that was pounding all night long so I can understand your frustration with your neighbors. I am sure that you would agree that screening our guests is really an unacceptable practice. We hope to have the opportunity for you to stay with us in the future.

when we first checked in, the lady was a little rude to us. but after that she gave us our keys. we went to the house, it was the wrong house. so we had to go back and get the right keys. but after all that we got to the house. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!! we really enjoyed the house, the pool was awesome. it was close to disney world(about 20 mins.) and close to universal studios(about 30 mins.). i will rent from this company again next year when we go down.

We were able to enjoy our vacation in Florida since we had this very nice home to stay in. It was plenty big enough for our family of 5. The house was decorated very nice. Having a kitchen saved us money, and the kids really enjoyed the pool. Also having a laundry room is the best way to go when on vacation. You do not have to pack as many clothes, and when flying, that also saves you money. Location was not too far from Disney - maybe a 15 minute drive. You do need to have a rental car. Overall, we loved the house, and would love to stay there again!
