The pros:
The house is located in a nice area and close to all the parks and shopping.
The house is very roomy.
The pool and spa is great.
The beds were very comfortable.
The cons:
The house needs some updating. We thought that by booking the mid tier house that is would be a little nicer than the lower ties houses.
The master bathroom floors and shower door needs to be replaced.
The furniture in the family room is dingy. The chair is very stained. The furniture needs to be replaced.
They only had one wash cloth in the whole house. There are plenty of hand and bath towels. We had to go out and buy some wash cloths.
They need to get some more bowls for serving food.
All in all we had a good time on our vacation. -

Our stay was from February 24 to March 24 of 2013. We prearranged for the pool to be heated. We kept it covered during non-use and it remained warm throughout the stay. We loved the layout and really enjoyed the large, well appointed kitchen area and made use of the garage as well. The house is located far enough away from all the activities to be quiet but close enough to access everything quickly by car. Golf, bowling, mini-golf, theme parks, sports events, shopping, shopping, and more shopping. Long walks in a secure neighbourhood were fantastic for getting some exercise and fresh air. We had an aligator in the small pond behind the house where we could catch and release large mouth bass. For the experienced traveller who prefers the convenience and value of home cooking this is the perfect solution. One disappointment was the Wi-Fi which was hit and miss with weak signals. Very frustrating to access the internet. Also, the oven probably needed a new thrermostat as the temperature read out and actual temperature were out of whack.

The memories of our time in Orlando are good but the best part happened at Eagles Nest. For the money spent I enjoyed the relaxed and fun we had in our rental home the best.

Lovely home, very comfortable with all amenities. Great view behind home, lake with lots of birds to watch. Location central to just about everything, shopping, dining and entertainment.

The house was clean, and it was very close to disneyworld. We enjoyed the pool, and watching the different birds just outside the house.

What a wonderful trip we had!! The house was comfortable and close to shopping, restaurants, and parks!! It was wonderful for our family to have a "retreat" after a long day at the parks...the pool and spa were so relaxing and the kids loved playing in the pool!!

This was our first experience with renting a vacation home. We were really impressed. It was really nice to come back to a spacious home instead of a small hotel room after a day at Disney.
Eagles Nest is a very nice home with a great layout. Location is within an easy drive to Disney and lots of shopping & restaurants. We would definitely rent this property again. -

A good location in a quiet neighbourhood with easy access to main highways. Gemstone staff were very helpful and dealt with problems immediately (eg when washing machine broke). House is comfortable and well equipped. Would have been a nice touch if agents left bread/milk/eggs/OJ for customers arriving late.
Only negative comment is that it could have been cleaner - property needs a periodic thorough clean rather than quick superficial clean between customers.
Overall, I would recommend the property and would be happy to use Gemstone again. -

I have stayed at this house several times and love it. Close to all parks and shopping. The house is clean and comfortable and everyone loves the pool. Have used Gemstone multiple times and they are always helpful. Keep up the good work.

House was awesome, pool fantastic. Location was a little cumbersome, but welcome to Florida driving. Only issues, were a lack of advertised internet connection, garbage collection issues, and lack of remote for the garage. If those elements were resolved it was perfect.

This was the first time we have rented a home for our vacation. I Was NOT disappointed and would definately recommend this home. We did not have any problems. It did take a couple days out of our week stay to get the pool heated, but was not a problem. Very clean, had everything we needed. Close to EVERYTHING!!

This was the first time we rented a house for our vacation and it was the best decision we could have made.The house was great and had everything we could possibly need. It was also close to everything. The kids loved having their own pool. It had more than enough room and was very comfortable. Although we booked this very late on the service we had from Gemtone was firstbclass. The Villa was clean, tidy and was well equiped. The swimming pool was very good and when we return to Florida I would have no second thoughts on where to stay. The only small problem was that small details were missing. I.E hairdryer etc.

I really enjoyed my stay, the condo was clean and furnished very nicely. Had most of the amenities of home. I liked having our own pool rather than having to share one with others. A place you could come back to at the end of the day and feel like you could really relax. So much nicer than a hotel. I don't know if I could ever go back to that alternative, this was so much nicer.

A very nice home, pleasant neighborhood, easily accessible to Kissimmee and Disney. Only facility missing is WiFi, which my guess is they'll bring in. Other than that, an excellent home away from home in the Kissimmee/Disney area.
