My husband, our son, his wife, their 11-year old daughter, and I loved staying at your home...and so did our little poodle. It was comfortable with the two king-sized bedrooms and twin bed room. Having 3 bathrooms was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, too. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home with us. (We found Formosa Garden's Blvd. to be fascinating with the Chinese buildings up on a mountain. One of the neighbors filled us in on the history of that former park.)

I rented this house for business purposes. I had my boss and one of my suppliers with me at the house as we were attending a annual convention.
We found the house to be very filthy as if it was not cleaned before we arrived. The carpets had not been vacuumed and the sheets and pillow cases in the room I stayed in had blood stains on them. The toilets were filthy. It was cold while we were staying at the house and the extra blankets in the room were also dirty.
I put my clothes in the dresser which was in poor shape. The drawers came out completely every time you opened them.
There was a nice grill to use but we did not arrive back at the house each night until after dark and there wasn't a light outside by the grill. We had to turn the bathroom light on and move the grill near the window to cook. After a very long and tiring day, that was an additional aggravation.
The coffee cups in the cupboard had coffee stains in them and needed to be rewashed before using them.
The garage was so short that we could not park our vehicle in it at night because we would not have been able to close the door or get out of the vehicle for that matter.
The house was close to several restaurants and grocery stores and was convenient to our convention and the airport.
Due to the fact that each night we returned to the house after business hours, we did not bother to call the office and complain about the conditin of the house. I called when I returned home and was told that I did not give them an opportunity to take care of the complaints that we had. They offered to give us a 10% discount on a rental house next year if we book a house with them now for next year but they would not give me anything stating this in writing.

FLNEVER AGAIN!
Left on 12/02/2009 for a stay in November 2009
Home was filthy. Carpets stained, live and dead ants in 2 bedrooms and showers, stained and rusted drip pans in stove and greasy teapot on stove. Living room furniture was worn and dining room chair upholstery stained. Pool/Spa heat was below advertised temp.We arrived on a holiday and due to a disclaimer about not calling the emergency number unless it was a real emergency or risk a$100 charge, we elected not to call. We were chastised later by management for this. Customer service was poor although they finally credited back all charges except 2 nights stay. I had already disputed this with the credit card co. however.

Dear Guests,
We would like to thank you for posting a review of your recent stay.
I would like to apologize for any inconvenience you may have had in the home. Upon reviewing your booking and concerns, we ask that if a guest has any questions and or concerns while in the home that you alert the office so we can get the items addressed. I need to point out that any Call from any guest is a valid Emergency especially if you are not comfortable. Our guests are our main concern at all times.
Your booking was from November 26 - 28 2009, for 2 nights.
You had contacted the office on the 27th in regards to your concerns with the home. At this time we had alerted our maintenance and cleaning persons in the field to go to the home. With the travel time included, they were at the home with 15 minutes of your call.
Upon our arrival to the home, we immediately had all of your concerns addressed for your stay. We had spoken to you once the cleaners had departed and asked you if you were ok with everything in the home.
At this time you acknowledged yes you were. As an option, we offered to move you to another home if you were not going to be happy and you declined to move from the home and said you were ok with the home.
The heating of the pool / spa was turned on at 85-90 degrees as required. We are sorry that you felt this was not hot enough for you. However we cannot raise the temperature above the 90 degrees for your safety and our concern for our guests.
I would like to point out that you were credited the same day that you had contacted our office. Even though you said you were ok with the home and you did not want to move, we felt badly about the situation you had encountered and we processed a refund for 1 day, pool heating and all extras you had with the booking. We only charged you for a 1 day stay and discounted this 15%. We did this for you, you did not request this.
We are sorry that you felt this way, we did our best for you to make you comfortable in the home. Your Lowery’s Team #118980

Familyof5
Ottawa, CanadaNice house - too bad about the management company
Left on 04/06/2009 for a stay in March 2009
The house itself was nice. Adequately equipped, clean, good view and decent privacy. Our disappointment was with the Management Company (Lowrey's). It started with what I felt was a misrepresentation of included equipment - BBQ grill. This turned out to be a charcoal BBQ. They have since corrected the ad to specify charcoal but made no attempt to make up for my stated disappointment. Then, they forgot to disarm the alarm system, so for the first hour of our stay we were greeted by a piercing alarm, numerous calls, and a visit from the security company. Lowery's was very slow to respond. After an hour, and many calls to them from my cell phone ($40 worth of roaming charges), they finally gave me the code to turn off the alarm. Finally, there were no instructions on how to turn on or heat the spa. I paid for pool heat but it was not very warm at all on our arrival. Lowrey's was unable (or unwilling) to help with this as well. Being a pool owner myself, I was able to figure it out, but from reading the guest book in the house it looked like many guests weren't so lucky. We did appreciate the house, however we can not recommend it based on our experience with Lowrey's. We also didn't feel the house was a good value relative to those we rented in the past.

Manager
Dear Guests,
We would like to thank you for posting a review of your recent stay.
I was concerned to read your comments and have therefore investigated the points raised.
We are glad you found the home to be adequately equipped, clean and comfortable.
In reviewing your posting on the BBQ Grill, this home has always had a Charcoal Grill as provided
by the owner. The owner prefers the Charcoal ?vs- the Gas. Since this is a privately owned home
we have to go with what the owner wants in the home. There is no misrepresentation as you can see
from the other postings on this home, the previous guests commented on the Charcoal Grill as well.
We have asked the owner if he would like to have a Gas Grill, he does not want this in his home.
As for the alarm, you were to be given an alarm code at check in and we apologize for the oversight on this to you and your family. You had arrived at your home at 4:30pm and called our office upon entering the home with the alarm concern. Our reservationist had to look up the alarm code and give this to you, unfortunately your call had dropped. The reservationist then called you right back and the call went to your voicemail on your cell phone, we even tried calling the home directly, the phone was answered. The Security Company came to the home after 1 visit, we had told them your name, they asked you your name this was acknowledged and the security company had left the property with the alarm no longer on in the home. If you would have made us aware of the $40.00US in roaming charges we certainly would have reimbursed you for this, as we have done upon reading your review of the home.
In regards to the pool, you had not made any phone calls to our office requesting any help with turning on the jets in the hot tub or any reference to the pool not being warm enough for you. Certainly if this call would have been made, we would have addressed this immediately for you and your family.

Great rental house for the money as compared to staying on the disney property. We stayed 6 nights with 4 adults and 3 kids and always had plenty of room for everyone. The kids really enjoyed the pool. We will definately be looking to rent from Lowerys again. Some minor negitives were a charcoal grill (we're used to gas) and the hot tub wasn't as hot as it could be (perhaps some better directions on how to use the heated pool would help). However many more positives than negitives and the house met every expectation we had.
