A little background...we started planning this trip to Disney World in February and we searched through numerous listings for vacation rentals in the Orlando area. We rented a villa in the Orlando area several years ago and it was nice but lacking in location. So after a lot of looking we decided on the "Disney Kids Kingdom" vacation rental. I always give honest fair reviews so here is our opinion...
Location: We had no trouble finding the villa with our GPS system. The villa is not far off of 192 and about 10 minutes from Disney World. The area seemed to have numerous vacation home rentals because we noticed most houses had lock boxes near the door. We also noticed the neighborhood was a ghost town. When we first arrived we only noticed three other cars parked in the driveways of three other homes on a street with probably 25 homes...so a little quiet in the neighborhood. Overall the location is very good...near Disney World and close to stores/restaurants. A little tip if you are going to Disney World take Funie Steed Road it has little traffic and it quicker than taking 192 the whole way.
Arrival: We arrived and followed the owner's directions on how to enter the house, we had no issues. The house was cool and welcoming when we arrived. The house looked like the pictures from the owner's website. The house was in good condition, yes some minor carpet stains here and there but its a vacation rental house you will find this at any rental property or hotel.
Living room: The living room had some nice comfortable couches and a chair. It also had a newer flat screen TV that worked well but needs to be properly adjusted for the screen size. The room had easy access to the pool area and numerous widows for a great amount of light during the day.
Kitchen: The kitchen had decent appliances that all worked correctly. The kitchen had a good supply of dishes and utensils but was lacking enough good pots and pans.
Bedrooms: The bedrooms were all nice. The Disney room had plenty of toys and fun things to play with. The master bedrooms were both nice but could had used king sized beds, the norm for master bedrooms in the us. The queen beds didn't give enough space when you are use to a king. The master bathrooms were both nice and spacious. There were plenty of towels and linens in the rooms.
Pool area: The pool area was nice. The pool was comfortable but a little cold on the two days when it rained. The pool was clean when we arrived but over the week it seemed to pick up a lot of debris. We noticed when the yard maintenance people mowed the yard a lot of debris went into the pool. The yard maintenance crew seems a little messy, they didn't clean up around the pool nor did they clean up in the front of the house, the walkways had a lot of yard debris from them mowing and pruning. We also noticed during the week that the pool screens had some gaps, the top of the screened in area had many gaps allowing debris and a few bugs to get in. The hot tub was excellent and really nice after a day at Disney World. This was another reason why we picked this vacation rental. Most Florida homes have built in pool hot tubs that really don't have good jets...this hot tub being separate from the pool had really good jets and made for a very nice experience. The pool furniture was nice and comfortable. The gas barbecue appeared to have seen better days but was functional. The pool toys were nice and we added some to the collection while we were there. Overall the pool area was as we expected and was nice.
Overall; We had a good stay at a good price. The location is great and the overall feel of the home was very good. We would recommend and stay at this vacation rental again without hesitation. -

Your home exceeds the needs for family and the hot tub (spa) was excelent for several day after playing 18 holes of golf was a real relief to just seat back and soak a while. Thanks again and I will probably be in contact with you for next year

Great expectations from the advert but didn't live up to the description.
Having rented a dozen villas in the area over the years, we chose this villa because of its great location. we arrived to find a very tired property with shabby furnishings, bleach stained carpets, dirty pool, threadbare furnishings and bedding that resembled sandpaper.
The property started life possibly 20 years ago as a 3 bed villa, but has been extended into the garage with a further bedroom and bathroom approached through the utility room! The family room is dominated by a pool table, I suppose that might appeal to some people, but not us. The pool was good, cleaned when we complained to the owner, pool cover falling apart, the hot tub was a plus but the pool screen was ripped and patched.
The owners were supposedly going over to the property a few days after we left so I emailed the owner with our thoughts and not even an acknowledgement from the owner!! -
