AVAILABLE FOR WEEKLY RENTALS ONLY. The classic oceanfront Outer Banks beach bungalow "All Sandy" is located at 4913 North Virginia Dare Trail in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina at Mile Post 2. Enjoy being at the waters edge on the oceanfront deck or screened porch and then relax in a rocking chair to watch the sunset from the front porch. The living room (which has a Queen sleep sofa) and 1 of the bedrooms is on the ocean side of the house. The kitchen, dining area and the 2nd bedroom are on the West side of the house. We stayed at the all Sandy in July the house was right on the beach walk down your steps and you are there. I loved this cottage, I could live there forever. The only complaint that I have about the cottage was the bathroom was way to small, the shower was small so I ended up taking my shower in the enclosed outside shower. This cottage offered everything that you would want. It had any type of books that you would want to read. Like I said I could live there forever, if owner every wants to sell let me know. Lol

We've been renting this cottage (once called El Sandy by a previous owner ... and now all Sandy) for more than two decades. The owners (the previous owners and the current one) have done a wonderful job of making the cottage a real home away from home.
A nicely stocked kitchen, lots of books and puzzles in case it rains, a music/CD system, cable TV and a DVD player, even a shiny new washer and dryer (though we've never used it since that would not be like being on vacation).
The most recent additions are window aC units (we've never used those, either ... the house, which is right on the beach ... gets a great cross-breeze whether the wind is coming from the sea or sound-side) and high-speed Internet access (both wired and wireless).
There are decks on both the ocean and road sides, with plenty of seating (rockers, as well as benches). And there's a wonderful screened-in porch on the ocean side with a picnic table and more rockers (and it would be a great place for a playpen - no worries about the wee ones getting too much sun).
The house would be a little small, I suppose for more than four adults (there are only two bedrooms with queen beds) but it's perfect for our small family. The other item to beware is if you're claustrophobic, you'll want to use the shower under the house (which is spacious and easily reached off the ocean-side deck) ... the one in the bathroom is tiny (clean, but closet-like - my wife complains that it's no place to try and shave your legs).
