The PET FRIENDLY Oceanfront Outer Banks vacation rental home "Mackerel Sky" is well equipped and located at 4503 North Virginia Dare Trail in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina at Mile Post 3. You and your pet will enjoy being on the open oceanfront deck which over looks the beach. This deck provides a great rolling surf view. The layout of this home (which is elevated but all on 1 level) has the living room with scenic ocean views from the large Oceanside windows and 1 Bedroom with a Queen bed on the ocean side. This is an anuual family vacation and we love this house- perfect size for our family of 5 and all the right ammenities- AC/Washer/Dryer.
We look forward to this trip every year. It is great to get up every am and have coffee and a walk on the beach! My kids love the fact the ocean is our backyard. It was a very comfortable cabin. The location was perfect. The view from the living room area was awesome. Beds were comfortable. The only thing I would say is the dryer did not dry the clothes very good and the entrance was a little hard with groceries etc. The cabin would be perfect if they put steps off the porch facing the street for easier access from the car. Other than those 2 small things the cabin was perfect for our family. We had 3 adults and 2 children in our group and very comfortable.
