The Outer Banks vacation rental home "Pelican s Watch" is located at 4145 North Virginia Dare Trail in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina at Mile Post 3 3/4. This Oceanfront Pet Friendly home as great ocean view from the decks as well for inside the house. Nicely furnished and close to shopping, restaurantes, and local attractions. The bedroom are as follows: Bedroom #1, which has a Queen bed. On the top level is Bedroom #2 which also has a Queen bed and Bedroom #3 which has a Pyramid bed (Double on bottom, Single on top) and a Day bed with a pull out Trundle bed and shares the full bathroom with Bedroom #2. My husband's family goes to OBX every year. They have been doing that for 20+ years. I have gone the past 3 years and we have always stayed in WPM properties. This year we rented Pelicans Watch - just me and him. It was great. The house was very spacious and we loved the little deck off our bedroom. The wrap around deck was perfect due to the unstable weather we had. I can't wait to book next year's trip. We will definitley stay at this house many more times. Thank you for a wonderful vacation rental!!!

Our favorite part of our stay was the view from the wraparound porch. We were able to drink our coffee, read a book, sunbathe, and just watch the tide roll in on the spacious porch. We could also see the tide from the couch and the dining room table, which made for a wonderful eating experience. The house was cleaned to a "T" except for the carpet. There was a strong scent of animal urine in the downstairs bedroom, but it wasn't noticeable anywhere else in the house. The upstairs bedroom that featured it's own private deck was probably the least comfortable room. The bed was springy and the sun blared through the sliding glass doors. By hanging a sheet over the existing curtain we were able to sleep more peacefully in the mornings. We loved the outdoor shower, which was only steps from the beach, because we were able run back to the house in under a minute to cool off, without having to go inside.

The house was well kept and clean. It was close to stores, yet a very quiet area and close enough to the water to hear the waves, even inside. The deck was great and spent much time outside on it.

We've stayed in the Pelicans watch for the past 18 years, the house is very comfortable and well equipped. It's maintained very well and always clean. The house located ocean front with absolute beautiful full view of the ocean. With a 3 side wrap around deck equipped with plenty of seating, you can enjoy the ocean with breath taking sun rises to the beautiful afternoon sunset. If you are like us, we enjoy a good cup of coffee in the morning watching the sun rise and evening dinner on the deck. We've had the privilege of meeting the owners of the property; they are the most down to earth, easy going people in the world. The staff at Wright Property Management is nothing but top notch. They respond quickly to any issues that might arise, and that should be little to none. I would suggest this property to anyone. Our family enjoyed our stay very much. Magnificent location. First time staying at oceanfront. I will never not stay at ocean front again. Beautiful.
