Very nice home with lots of comfortable living area and good views of the ocean from the 3rd floor. The house is just off of Rt. 158, easy to get to and central to all kinds of OBX attractions. It's on a nice lot, with trees and bushes around the back to provide privacy for the pool area. Only drawbacks are that the laundry facilities are inconveniently located in the pool house and the beds could be more comfortable.

The cottage was well furnished, we have few gripes but here they are. I beds were rock hard, insufficent blinds to block sun in the bedrooms, it seemed the pool liner was leaking, one of the middle floor bathrooms tub drain was plugged, and location was milepost 2.5 right on the bypass. Here are the positives of our stay. The salt water pool over a chlorine is definitly the way to go. The pool furniture and picnic table were great and the house is insultated very well didn't hear much of the road traffic. Internet was fast and easy to use. Its a tolerable walk to the beach and the buggy furnished with the house is the way to go. Overall a good vacation but expect to wake up early when the sun comes up.

Loved that the kitchen was on the top floor and very open with the dining and living room area. Although it was only a short walk to the beach, the pool space was great with outdoor outlets, a picnic area, lounge chairs and waterfall. The house was very roomy and clean and perfect for large groups. The only downside was being on the main highway.

There were many positive aspects of this vacation home. It was clean. It was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well equiped. The beds were comfortable. The children in our party really enjoyed the pool. It is close enough to the beach to walk; however, the path to the pavement goes across a vacant lot and there are briars and cacti in the walkway. A cleared path would be really nice. The only other negative was the sounds of traffic. The house fronts on the main highway and traffic is constant. Inside the house, it was not noticable but on the decks or around the pool, it was loud. The realty company was great to deal with, and over all, it was a very positive experience. We loved the Outer Banks.
