The rental was nice and clean. The agency was great to work with. It was a short walk to beach and the pool was great to have as an option with our 3 small children. Great to have garage shower and also w/d available! Will pack our own linens next time. We rented them and they smelled bad and were not of the best quality. Rental in a great location, close to shops, amenities and attractions.

loved the location, but i wished everything advertised in the condo actually worked. i don't think anyone could sleep in the bunks downstairs with the mold and mildew smell. the bathroom fan and the radio were missing in action. loved the decor and the layout.

I would have liked the electronics to have worked when we arrived. The Kitty Hawk person did a great job getting us going finally with the tv but the rest of the equipment was not hooked up. It got hot and we would have liked some of the screens to have put in. One of the smoke detectors needed a battery and kept beeping until we finally found it. Little complaints but overall we liked it and will rent it again when we come.

My first vacation with my son, his wife & 20 mo baby & my 1st time renting a condo was quite aggravating & disappointing, to say the least. Best was: location perfect, across street from beach, walk to good restaurants, nice pool house with amenities. The maid service that was hired to clean this home before we came needs a lot of help, no one inspected this property; carpet & furniture had stains & dirty, mold in bathrooms, tubs & around vents; both shower curtains filled with mold & ripped & hanging down. Tv didn't work, remote broke, VCR broke. I just cried while my husband cleaned for 2 days. after complaining to rental agents, people did keep coming over to clean carpets & furniture; tried to clean vent mold, 1 new shower curtain. they tried but it was too late to be really thrilled or forgive this. Big black bugs crawling on walls, in baby's crib.. When we signed out, rental agents tried to ignore us like we were the problem; didn't treat us nice at all like they did when we checked in; expected some money back, none.

The house was supposed to have been cleaned before our arrival. The house was just barely cleaned. There was about 3 inches of dust around the bed in the Master bedroom. The same was true for the kids bedroom. It was obvious it hadnt been vacuumed in quite a while. The vertical blinds in the Master BR were broken which meant the sun would blind you while you were trying to sleep early in the morning! there was a water leak in the garage leaving a puddle. The remote in the main living room did not work and you had to get up to change the channel manually. There were several lights throughout the house which had to be repleced. The bathroom/shower on the first floor had a sign that said "Out of Order". This unti would be really nice if they took the time to make the repairs and give it a huge cleaning!
