Wonderful Ocean View from the New front deck and great room. Enjoy the fresh Ocean breeze from the side deck. On our expanded back deck we have a hot tub for your enjoyment. There is a Charcoal Grill, Beach Cart and Beach Chairs for your use during your vacation. For your convenience we have an outside shower to enjoy after your trip back to the Beach. The inside of the home has updated furnishings including bedding, additional sleep sofa and chair, and laminate and tile floors. We've never experienced a delay or issue with check in. Stayed 7/28/12-8/4/12 with 2 other couples & 1 teenager. This was our 4th stay in this house.Located on Beach Rd near MP 2.5. Beach access is 5 houses-you use the beach cart provided! You can easily walk back to the house for lunch. Carpet has been replaced with laminate & large deck added to front.
Bedrooms are a little on the small side. Storage could be a little better in the 2nd bedroom.
Third bedroom now has two sets of bunk beds. Living/dining space is adequate for everyone. There were only two negatives we experienced-one was with the air conditioning in the bedrooms. It was fine during the day but at night when you closed the doors the bedrooms felt warm & stuffy. The other was with the cleanliness of the floors when we arrived. The broom in the house isn't made to sweep that kind of flooring & there were "dust bunnies" & sand still in the corners. Don't know if that is a problem with the broom or the person operating it! Kitchen & bathrooms were clean. Master bath is only a shower & hall bath is a tub/shower. Washer & dryer are downstairs in a separate utility room so have to go outside to get to it. This is a great little house for 2 couples or 1 couple with several kids. We've actually stayed here by ourselves a couple times.
Recommendations: Captian Johnnys Dolphin Watch; Carolina Seafood Buffett; High Cotton; 1587 Restaurant in Manteo;Lost Colony;Jockeys Ridge; spend an afternoon/evening on Roanoke Island-great place.
Don't make the mistake of taking a rainy day to go to Corolla! Everyone else has the same idea. It's worth the drive up to see the towns, shopping is great & the view from the lighthouse (if you're able). Traffic was horrible the day we went & took us over an hour to get back to the house. Willing to answer questions. -

The house was bright and sunny!
Very comfortable and accommodating. The location was wonderful. Since the house is across the street from the beach we really couldn't ask for more. Having the laundry room and outside shower on the ground level was great. It keep alot of the sand outside. The spa/hot tub was nice too. We really didn't use it much, but it was nice to have the option. Meals at home were very comfortable and we loved the 24 / 7 view!
We loved the extensive DVD collection. It was very relaxing being able to hang out and watch movies.
The cleaning service could have done a better job, but we always have everything clean to our specs by the end of our week. It cleaned up very well.
We will definately rent "No Regrets" again!! -

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cottage. They had a wagon with big wheels to roll your chairs and umbrellas to the beach. And it was a short walk to the beach. Everything was very clean and modern. Loved the hot tub on the back deck. I would highly recommend this cottage.

A comfortable home, not too big not too small, nicely equipped and well furnished. Had a small issue with the internet but owner called us directly and it was solved almost immediately - very nice. Beach access isn't great (about 50-75 yds either direction) but isn't the worst either. Would definitely consider staying here again. The only real "downside" is there is only one entrance, and there is no gutter above the steps so when it's raining and you're trying to get into the house you're definitely gonna get wet! :) Service with Beach Realty was very good.

No Regrets is a wonderful place--so close to the ocean. Having a washer/dryer was perfect for anyone who flies. The house is located in the perfect area (close to a lot of things to do & see).
The only reason we didn't give it an excellent review is because the house was not clean when we arrived--which was provided by the rental company when we complained.
The only other "issue" was that the front window had no window coverings & we were awakened at sunrise every morning. -

No Regrets is in an excellent location. Easy beach access and well stocked with beach gear. The hot tub was a great way to wind down at night. We stayed with 4 kids, ages 9-14 and they all had a great time, whether at the beach or at the house. The movie, book and game collection was abundant and used by all during down time. The house was clean and the Weber kettle was used for many meals. All in all, we had a great stay at No Regrets. Thank you!!

We in fact weren't expecting it to be so nice, exceeding our expectations. Location was perfect for us. We appreciated the beach cart and finding every conceivable kitchen gadget. (Well, not a stick mixer, but the blender did the job.) Decor was almost too cute, altho certainly fun for the week, and we appreciated the owners' efforts to make it feel inviting. Our little ones loved the bunk beds. Dvd selection came to the rescue several times! In fact, the TV availability was startling *grin* even tho the adults preferred the views of the ocean. Hot tub was a big plus, nicest we've seen. The week went by too quickly, we all want to return.

This was the perfect place for my wife and I and our 4.5 yr old and 2 yr old. Everything newly renovated. The owners put a lot of thought into the place and constantly try to improve the place. In fact, my wife looked through the visitor book and based upon the recommendations made in the past, it looks like they have made all of those improvements suggested by previous renters. Great place!

No Regrets was a great place to stay. Very clean and the bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable. This was our first stay in OBX and we will be returning. We had an awesome week!
