Best vacation we have been on! Pictures certainly do not do the house justice! The house came with everything including beach chairs and skim boards! We could walk everywhere including The Black Pelican, which we highly recommend! A friend has already book another vacation next year to St. Somewhere.

We enjoyed our visit to St. Somewhere - the home is super cute and decorated in a really fun way. You can tell that the owners have put a lot of work and heart into it! The pool is large for a rental home, but weeds were overgrown in the pool area. The beach access is close, but would be nice if the walkway was paved or decked.
We loved the quality, wooden deck furniture and the nice large Tv's. Everything we needed was there - including beach chairs! -

After a drive that took 13 hours instead of the expected 9, we arrived in Kitty Hawk. Our drive took longer due to having to stop to feed a baby, pit stops and unbeleivable traffic. The day we arrived it was hot, so hot. Everyone was cranky and tired. It was in this mood that we entered St. Somewhere. My 13 year old grandson's first words were "this makes it all worth it". We had a great time. The house fit our needs perfectly. It is obvious that the owners take pride in their home. I loved reading the guest book, swimming in our own pool, the patios under the decks that were always so cool, even in the heat of the day. We were within walking distance to two restaurants, The Brown Pelican was fantastic, as was the lunch fare at Longboards. We will definitely go back.

St. Somewhere was a wonderful place. Very well kept and decorated. Everything was as decribed. The pictures don't do the house justice because it's better in person and the pics were nice.

One of the best vacations we ever took. St Somewhere is centrally located to all things in the Outer Banks. Quiet street. Close to the beach. Close to hang gliding, "The Dunes", parasailing, the ocean. Especially loved the outdoor pool for a dip after a day at the beach. We cant wait to come back next year.

We had a very enjoyable weeks vacation at St Somewhere
Having a swimming pool that is kept in very good condition was a big plus for the rental. Our young grandchildren as well as the teens had a great time. The house is well stocked with games and dvds. The location is great for the beach as well as restaurants. I would highly recommend this property and the rental agency. -

Everything was great except the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The pool was to die for particularly since the weather was so hot. It was the place everyone loved, and enjoyed being, also because of the wonderful way it was decorated and landscaped. The Horseshoes were a nice addition, after we requested the grass be cut. The House had all the supplies in the kitchen and very much enjoyed the layout of the house.

I don't want to praise the property too much for fear it will become known what a treasure it is and therefore not be available to us when we want to rent it again! I am already looking for properties to rent for next year in the greater OBX and this house is the only perfect home for us! Comfort got 4 stars only because the beds were too firm for us - we're waterbed people. Everything else was perfect. Especially the proximity too Beach Medical and First Flight Orthopedics when our boy broke his arm while at the beach - great service!

We've stayed in OBX for the last 10 years of which 6 have been at St. Somewhere. This home's location is perfect, quiet street close to the beach, is comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen. We have 10 people stay (4 adults and 6 children) and it is always perfect. The homeowners are constantly making enhancements and improvements to the home which they detail in an home update guide. We're renting St. Somewhere for as long as the homeowners have it available to renters... a great place in OBX!
