You will not fail to be impressed by this beautiful cottage with its fabulous interior and furnishings. Everything is top quality, from the beds and duvets to the kitchen accessories. It's a very relaxing place to spend a week or a short break to get away from it all. It's particularly suited for those who wish to enjoy the Yorkshire countryside, with Thirsk also being only five minutes drive away, where you can purchase top quality locally produced vegetables.
A treasure of a cottage!

The photos for this cottage really don't do it justice. First class accommodation where the owners have thought of everything. Have already booked my next stay!

The cottage was the best we have ever stayed in. The owner, who lives next door, was very helpful. The village is very quiet, pub nearby! Really relaxing holiday, with lots of places nearby to visit. Highly recommended.
A truly excellent holiday experience

The whole experience was super from beginning to end. The cottage was everything we had hoped it would be and the owners were extremely helpful. The location was excellent with access to the countryside (with spectacular views and beautiful little villages), the coast and also cities. A visit to York was simplicity itself, especially using the Park and Ride facilities.
We never had time to visit the pub in the village but hopefully will next time.
Best of the Moors and the Dales

We had a really good holiday here and were able to take the best advantage of the weather by deciding each day whether to head for the Moors or the Dales depending on the wether forecast. In this way we managed to avoid the rain for our stay.
Each of the two areas offered lots of different attractions which suited both adults and teenagers alike.
Accomodation was very well presented and it felt like home from home. Absolutely marvellous and would recommend this property to anyone.

I cannot praise this property enough. The location was wonderful and the property itself was spacious and very clean. We had a fantastic holiday and in fact, we plan to return next year. The owner resides in the property next door and made us feel at home from the start. The property is located in a very small village and within two minutes walking distance from the nearest country pub. The pub itself was very well run and the roast beef was the best that I have ever tasted. You must try it. The property is located in the wonderful countryside and it takes only a short car journey to reach any of the well known beauty spots. We did the Herriot Trail and it was excellent. It will be your loss if you do not visit this property.

This is an outstanding holiday cottage. The location
is perfect for touring much of Yorkshire. The
cottage is beautifully furnished, very comfortable
and every need provided. All the amenities are
as expected and well maintained. The owners are very gracious and made sure that my visit was satisfactory. First day necessities are in the
cottage for use-----milk, bread etc. as well as
daily items needed, soaps, linens etc.
I hope to return to Knayton House Cottage my next
time in Yorkshire.
