San JoseBest Vacation place in Oahu
Left on 01/17/2013 for a stay in December 2012
Our family's most favorite place to vacation is Hawaii Islands. We travel to Hawaii once or twice every year and have enjoyed different islands and various accommodation options. Since we have two small children, staying in a condo with a full kitchen and separate bedrooms is a must for us. Gregory and Maryam's condo in Ko Olina resort is one of the best places we have stayed. It has a fantastic kitchen, cozy living room and two bedrooms and two full baths. All sand toys, beach chairs, towels, swimming boards are in the condo for guests' use. The best thing about the condo is a terrific view. The condo is located on the 15th floor, has stacking doors, which enable the guests to enjoy the full spectrum of the ocean, horizon, fireworks for the New Year, whales in winter months. The condo has the Hawaii feel: warm, welcoming, relaxing, very enjoyable. We received a very warm welcome from the property management and great support from every staff member on the property. Our children loved the pools and quiet lagoons, which are steps away from the resort. We had great fun swimming with the turtles right in the lagoons at the resort!!! The children were thrilled! We would highly recommend the Ko Olina resort and Gregory and Maryam's condo to the future guests. It will absolutely make your Hawaii experience a great one! We cannot wait to go back.

This penthouse is everything advertised and more. The ameneties in the rental are what you would expect. It's not dated everything works and looks great. And did i mention, clean as a pin, the service used by the owner is outstanding. The views are stunning. The grounds are beautiful. The lagoons are over the top, making the ocean acessiable for toddlers to seniors. It's a great vacation if you never left the grounds. The location is close to everything you need and just minutes away from the airport. We cannot wait to go back - thanks Greg and Maryam. You made our first but not last vacation to Hawaii very special.

Walnut Creek, Californiahighly recommend! fantastic!
Left on 08/12/2012 for a stay in August 2012
the owners and their onsite property manager were prompt and helpful. gabriela met us at the condo, let us in, gave the scoop, and answered our questions. and we didn't need her again! checkout was a breeze. no long list of "departure chores" like many vacation rentals. we just left the key cards on the counter.
we were four people staying in the condo --my husband and me + our 3-yr-old. daughter and our babysitter and it was a good fit.
the layout is especially perfect if you have kids and/or early risers. the bedrooms are tucked in the back, and the front of the condo is the living room and chef's kitchen plus a big balcony. the balcony is like another room! plus, the sliding doors disappear into the wall to make one big indoor/outdoor living space!
the beds are so comfy. the bathrooms are very nice. everything is high quality.
the parking space was close by and convenient. plenty of nice beach towels and a few beach toys. kitchen was well equipped
the lagoon beaches are beautiful and never too crowded. they're great if you have little ones b/c they are so calm. lots to do along the stretch of ko'olina resorts. fish feeding at the marriott. several restaurant options. roy's across the street (our fave). the golf course. a small grocery store. ten mins in kapolei is everything any town in the us would have -- jamba juice, safeway, starbucks, movie theater... just a great place to be for a week! easy drive to waikiki and the north shore for mini day trips, too.
the pool areas were even nicer than we expected. never too crowded and very enjoyable. great pools for little ones and for adults. nice little bar for a cocktail with a view, too.
all in all -- it was perfect! we would recommend it to anyone and hope to stay again soon! -

TaiwanA perfect stay in Hawaii
Left on 06/16/2012 for a stay in June 2012
This was our first time to Hawaii and our stay couldn't have been better. The villa was very comfortable and had all the appliances and amenities that we could possible need. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids, ages 5 and 8 and the kids loved the pool, beach and surroundings. Talking about surroundings, Disney's Resort is right next to this property which is great if you want to go have a meal there but I wouldn't have changed my stay there...it was very crowded!
Back to our experience at this villa, the check-in went smoothly. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Eric who was very helpful at explaining us all about the place. The property was clean and organized. Small details helped us start enjoying our vacation right away, as the fact that they had sand toys and boogie boards for the kids on site. Just as in a hotel, there was shampoo, conditioner and body lotion in each bathroom and even a nail polish remover (ok, somebody had left it behind but it came in just as handy!).
We would absolutely recommend this place for anyone and would love to go back sometime soon!!

Left on 11/14/2011 for a stay in October 2011
Great place! Very nice kitchen and the best balcony ever! It truly has 360 ocean view! When the door to the balcony is open, it is like we are in heaven!
I got to talk to the owner during the trip. He was staying next door. It was nice to get to know him a little bit and give him some personal feedbacks of the place. We love to cook so we told him that the pots and pants are a little small. He told me that he already bought those for the future renters!
The only thing that can be done a little better is to refund the deposits quicker. It took about three to four weeks to get the secure deposit back. But overall, it was a great experience! I can't get enough of the view! -

Anchorage, AKBest Place to Stay on Oahu
Left on 08/27/2011 for a stay in August 2011
My husband told me this is the best vacation place I've ever found! Love the four lagoons beaches. Gorgeous sunsets nightly. The view is absolutely amazing. The security and privacy are great and there are three pools. This suite, two bedroom two bath, has all the comforts of home. We walked to the JW Marriott, just past the new Disney hotel next door which opens the day we leave (8-29), to inquire about their prices. We were astonished that the minimum cost of their hotel rooms (one bedroom, one bath) was $545 a night! Don't go there!! This is the place you want to be. Two problems: one-if too many people find out we may not get to rent again or prices will go up; two - we have to go home! I highly recommend this five star condo.

Our New Favorite Place To Stay in Oahu!
New JerseyAmazing Place To Stay!
Left on 07/14/2011 for a stay in July 2011
I just returned from my yearly trip to Hawaii. My wife is from Honolulu (born and raised) and we go back to visit every year and usually stay at high end hotels on nearly every island. We stayed at this villa and loved every minute of it!
We are very particular about we we stay and the grounds, location and the view is the best we have experienced in over 25 years of going to Hawaii. The villa is spacious and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is great and Ko Olina is the place to be in Oahu. My wife didn't want to leave! The kitchen is great! The lanai has the most beautiful views...the sunsets are amazing. There was even a giant rainbow the first day we were there!
We will definitely go back and stay here. I had to promise my wife already... -

Left on 06/27/2011 for a stay in May 2011
Stay here. That's all I need to say! I am one of those people who spend days and weeks researching the "perfect place" to stay...and if you are like me, and want everything to be perfect...this is the place! My husband and myself stayed here for 5 nights in May. The view is really outstanding, you feel like you are walking out over the ocean!! I checked into lots of other place in Ko Olina villas, this is by far the best view!! You can see the entire coastline, and even the view of the green mountains from the other side is so beautiful and unique! We stay out on the lanai every night from sunset until we fell asleep! The photos taken are real!! (lots of other people seems to use stock photos of the villas, but this is the real deal, the owner took them himself, it actually looks like this!!)
The condo is super clean, the kitchen fantastic!! I cooked gourmet meals every night, we never ate out once because the kitchen with the amazing doors opening onto the lanai made us not want to leave!
The decoration is very tasteful, not tacky or old fashioned. The beds and linens are comfy and high quality. The pools are super clean and very quiet, beaches obviously perfect!!
If you want to stay at Ko Olina, this is definatley the best place, and if you're looking around, this unit is beyond perfect!!
The owner, Gregory was very easy to get a hold of, checked several times to make sure everything was perfect and as expected. We will be making this a yearly event! -

We had the pleasure of staying in this villa during our Spring/Easter break. The furnishings were beautiful and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals if we wanted to. The washer and dryer was also a bonus! The view from the lanai was outstanding and we ate our meals there daily. The owners were wonderful to work with and will recommend this villa and owners to our friends and family. We are hoping to go again next year - it was the best vacation!

Vancouver, CanadaPerfect Holiday Rental
Left on 04/04/2011 for a stay in March 2011
Our family of four stayed here Mar. 21-28/11. The unit itself is beautiful, clean, and well appointed with an amazing view of the ocean. We were treated to gorgeous sunsets almost every night. Sunrises from the bedrooms were equally impressive. From the lanai we were lucky enough to see humpback whales (almost daily) and dolphins. It was such a treat to sit back and relax on the lanai each night. The property is well taken care of, and the pools are great, especially if you have kids.
Ko Olina itself is a little piece of paradise. There are several resorts, but the area itself was quite quiet. There is shopping within the resort including an abc-type shop (which has everything you might need if you don't want to explore the island- food, sunscreen, medications, souveneirs), an ice cream shop and several restaurants. There is further shopping about 8 minutes away in Kapolei (Costco, Target, more restaurants, Safeway, etc.), and the outlets in Waipahu are less than 15 minutes away. Getting to other parts of the island takes a little longer (1/2 hour to the north shore, 45 minutes to the Windward side of the island), but isn't inconvenient.
Gregory was very responsive from the time we first inquired about the until, and even checked in on us while we were there. We wouldn't hesitate at all to return! -

We decided on this condo at the last minute, Gregory was fast to respond and accomodating. Check-in/out was a breeze. Can't say enough good things about the quality of the condo and location, it is a great way to have the best of both worlds, meaning it is not far from Honolulu, but feels like you're on a different island while in Ko Olina. View from this condo is the best! Hear the waves and see the whales! Great Value, we are planning to return sometime soon!

CanadaDream family vacation
Left on 10/29/2010 for a stay in October 2010
We have been regular visitors to Oahu for the past 4 years. This however is the first time we have not stayed in Waikiki and might I say what a marvelous change!
The penthouse was in pristine and immaculate condition with all the amenities you could think of and then some!
The views from the lanai are breath-taking:what could be a more relaxing way to see the sunset every evening ?
Sunrise could be viewed from the master bedroom with equal brilliance.
The beach villas are ideally situated in the middle of the Ko Olina property. From the penthouse it's about 2 mins to the pool and 3 mins to the beach... what more could you ask for??
A car is a definite must for grocery shopping and sightseeing ( if you choose to do so) but should you forget to rent one, there is the Hertz desk available at the JW Marriott.
There are also the luxuries of on site spa treatments should you wish to book one and weekly activities at the villas.
We were a family of 4 with 2 small children aged 2 and 3. This property rental allowed us to have the best vacation ever.
The Storms are gracious owners and we wish them the very best in the future.
Hope to be back every yr!!!" -

San Ramon, CAThe Luxury You Deserve away From Home
Left on 10/04/2010 for a stay in September 2010
It was our first time renting a condo and we had a wonderful time staying at the penthouse villa. The unit was one floor below the top floor and therefore had an incredible view of the ocean. The villa had everything you can think of and truly gave you the home away from home feel. All amenities were more than you would expect and the kitchen was a chef's dream. We spent quite a few nights eating at home and saved a lot of money. Costco and Safeway is just 5 minutes away and very convenient. We also rented a full size suv during our visit and our unit came with a large dedicated parking stall which was extra helpful. The lagoon and the beach was very quiet and not very crowded which was nice. Overall we had a great time and look forward to returning soon.

Los Angeles, CaliforniaTop shelf 2 bedroom Beach Villa
Left on 09/19/2010 for a stay in August 2010
The view, the location and again the view!!!
All units at the Beach Villas are nice but some stand head and shoulders above the rest.
This beautiful 2-bedroom unit is on the 15th floor in the Ocean tower (there are 16 floors) and it is right in the middle of the building looking out straight into the ocean. The parking is conveniently located as well as the elevator (which is shared by only 2 penthouse units on each floor).
When you first walk in you immediately understand why you booked this unit and perhaps had to pay slightly more per night (but well worth it). It is the panoramic view from the lanai. This was the most memorable part of our vacation and we really felt lucky to have found this unit.
The furnishings, kitchen appliances and kitchenware as well as bathroom accessories and towels are very tasteful and of good quality. We felt like we had all the comforts and amenities that we were used to. This definitely made the experience that much nicer and I think the owners have done a great job.
This was our second stay at the Villas, we stayed on the 4th floor previously and there is no comparison. Another great benefit of being high up is the absence of insects (this is a good thing). I have not seen a single mosquito or a fly for the whole week we were there.
What else can I say? Staying at the Beach Villas is great and staying at the unit with a gorgeous view is even better!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this unit to anyone!
