Our stay totally exceeded all expectations. Out of this world setting, fabulous accomodation that was luxurious without being pretentious. Superb for our group of 7 - space to spread out and enjoy privacy as well as awesome entertaining areas to be together. As we lazed in the pool and gazed out to the horizon and the peaceful surroundings we had to pinch ourselves at the beauty of it all. Magic. The staff were brilliant with just the right touch - so helpful and available whilst still respecting our privacy. Amazing food - we loved the red and green curry :) All in all, 11/10 and very difficult to say good-bye when our week was up. Than Sadet beach was also perfect for us - gorgeous uncrowded beach with several great bars/restaurants to visit when we felt sociable.
Definitely a place to visit again. Big thanks to Dom & Eye and family.

I cannot recommend this villa enough! My four closest friends and I stayed here for some girl time prior to my wedding in Thailand and I will remember our stay fondly forever! We were all blown away by the villa, the views and the beautiful beach. It's a long, 4WD into the villa which adds to it's charm but don't expect too much surrounding you when you get there! It suited us perfectly. We explored the surrounding beaches, waterfall and small local reastaurants, all with an incredible view and went zip lining too! We also had incredible in house massages and food delivered to us at the villa a few times which was delicious. Amazing, incredible, perfect and great value for a luxurious experience!

This villa is just perfect if you want a few days of peace and quiet, breathtaking views from your bedroom (and dining table, poolside, everywhere!) and fantastic food cooked by your very own personal chef. Dominic has done an amazing job building this island of calm and serenity, the pictures don't do it justice. It is definitely out of the way though, 30 mins. over mountain roads and through jungle but no problem with a 4x4. It is a short 10 min walk through the jungle road to the beach and waterfalls or other restaurants but we generally prefered just to hang out at the villa and soak up the atmosphere and view. The housekeeper "Eye" is also a fantastic chef (try her fish for sure, delish) and gave us one of the best Thai massages we had during our trip. If you're looking for busy beaches, fancy restaurants or bustling nightclubs then head down to Hat Rin where all the tourist hoards hang out (we went there next and had a great time too). This villa is a place to collect your thoughts, read a good book, chill out in the sala and the pool and regroup. You won't regret it.

Didn`t see such a tranquillity Spot for a very long time. We enjoyed our stay very much, because of the kompetent and kind owner, the skillfull house-keeper Eye. A quite Place to get into yourself. Wonderful pool, house and panorama. Very delicious meals done by eye, any time. Better than the photos. Thanks.

This was the perfect location to unwind in the midst of a whirlwind tour of Southeast asia. The location and the scenery were amazing. The gorgeous pool is the highlight of the property, it is lovelier than it looks in the photographs. The house was clean and comfortable. Eye, the house keeper, prepared delicious meals and gave wonderful Thai massages. Dominic, the owner, was very helpful and willing to take us around the island. There were several restaurants and bars within walking distance. The walk to these establishments was enjoyable but be sure to grab a flashlight for coming home after dark. The beach was rocky as listed on the site, but there was a rope to assist with climbing in and out of the water and it was only a short walk to the sandy beach. The waterfall recommended by Dominic was beautiful and we had a great time swimming in the river. However it took a bit longer for us to complete the walk to the beach than we had originally believed. It was well worth it, but be advised that hiking sandals are a good idea. Overall it was a relaxing and delightful stay. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

everything was well described, the place was so beautiful, the sea view was most wonderful, it looks really like the pictures from.
Eye (the Maid) and Dominic were available at all times.
We were pampered with Thai food every day. The food was great.
Special thanks to Eye
The ideal place to relax.
Dominic and Eye, thank you very much for everything.

Ubud, BaliAre you worth time in Paradise?
Left on 11/18/2011 for a stay in October 2011
Leave the resorts behind and give yourself the gift of this enchanting and very private home. Dominic and his friendly staff took great care of us, from made-to-order meals to Thai massage, trips to 'civilization' for necessities (chocolate!)and most of all: privacy to drink in the sublime beauty of this pristine, breath-taking location. Private steps leading into the warm, sparkling ocean, followed by a nap in a hammock just steps away. If you are willing to spend your money on a quality vacation, why not go all the way? We would recommend this piece of paradise to anyone who loves beauty, peace & quiet, canopies of stars unaffected by man-made lights, a glorious ocean to swim in and sunrises to welcome you from sleep! Trust us, you won't want to ever leave.

Days have now turned into weeks since our arrival home from holiday and I have been meaning to write and thank you letting us stay in your amazing villa...
The house itself is spectacular and like nowhere any of us had ever been...we never got used to its beauty or the beauty of the views in every direction. It also felt so welcoming and so very very restful. We also adored the garden and the Sala and spent lots of time there, occasionally plopping in and out of the sea...I love the way White azure feels totally remote and yet you can walk through a bit of jungle to find some (more!) food and a beach and company if you want it. We actually spent lots of time just hanging out at the villa, but we did venture out too to do some diving etc...I've got to say Eye's food was the best of all and we all had our favorite dishes by the end.
I teach yoga and I loved practicing on the great big flattish rocks near the sea...it really has added a new level to my yoga. I think we all fell in love with the place. I want to come back to Thailand for sure. I found it very gentle. But I know we had a very extraordinary experience staying in the villa...I have never in my life felt so relaxed, so totally free of burdens...I just wanted to stay and stay. It felt, at the end of two weeks, like something new was only just beginning...

Bad access road but location wonderful, tropical garden, pool at house level, steps to the sea and very good cook, doing Thai food. Comfortable and attentive service. Perfect for group holidays and honeymoons. You make your own entertainment, no night life or bars, but several simple, good , local beach restaurants. Sandy beach close by and Dominic good at taking trips to beaches and other activities, Will arrange anything you want. Elderly people and young children would find it unsuitable as there are quite a lot of steps to the sea and to the house. A great holiday house, unrivalled views. Will come back.

Left on 03/07/2011 for a stay in February 2011
We stayed in this fantastic villa for a week in February 2011. As the other reviews said, it is a unique place. The design of the building ensures that - whether you are in one of the living areas, the bedrooms or the pool - you are connected to the most hypnotising view of the sea and the sky. Such was the effect of this that we found ourselves reluctant to leave the villa for most of our stay there. Even the kids (aged 9 and 11) preferred swinging in the hammocks over the pool, reading books to the nearby beach.
The housekeeper (Khun Eye) cooked us great meals and gave superb and authentic Thai massages. The owner is friendly and always available for advice and transport. All in all perfect.
Everything in the house worked well, everything was really clean. The showers didn't always manage to produce hot water - but that wasn't an issue to us.
Do note that White azure is very secluded and quite isolated. It is a 10 minute walk up and down some exciting (slippy) tracks to the nearest restaurant. So bring some half-decent shoes !

This was a perfect getaway for a family gathering. The views from the villa simply could not be beaten and lazing around the pool with nothing but sea view around you - and the stars at night was truly wonderful. The food provided by Eye (who also does fantastic massages, and cleans the villa with her sister !) was traditional thai food - and absolutely delicious. We ate out at a couple of local restaurants, one above the villa, and one down towards the beach - both were excellent although facilities were very basic. This is a wonderful holiday if you want to get away from it all but as it is very remote you will need to make your own entertainment - which we loved !The day snorkling trip we went on was absolutely perfect - a really lovely day out to a private island, a great buffet lunch, wonderful snorkling, and a laze on beautiful white sand to finish off. However, the villa is very isolated and the drive from the port is through jungle and on very basic and sometimes completely unmade roads. Two of our party had to sit in the open back of the ute with the luggage which was not ideal as the dust from the road, petrol fumes and rough terrain made for a rather uncomfortable ride, so any older members of the party should bear this in mind. There is no outside lighting at all, so the evening trips to the restaurants were rather difficult as it was pitch dark and very very steep and rocky. (There are 84 steep unlit steps just from the villa to the road) We were armed with mobile phone lights to see our way, so complimentarty torches provided for guests and maybe some solar lights from the villa to the road might be useful.  Definitely not suitable for young children or for anyone who has a mobility problem as you do need to be fairly energetic to get around. Also, there isnt a huge amount of room around the pool for sitting or lying.  There are only two recliners with several flat mattresses for lying on, although only 2 - 3 people could lie round the pool at the same time, so if you are a large party it could pose a slight problem if you all want to be round the pool together. All in all though - a great holiday and would certainly recommend it.

Hello and thank you for your comments which we have taken note of.
We now have outside lights around the steps and 2 extra recliners on the upper terraces around the pool.. We also provide complimentary torches for evening walks to the restaurants. We hope to see you again next time,

This is a great place if you need some time out; but don't come expecting clubs and shops.
It's an adventure just getting there - glad I wasn't driving - like it says, it's in through the jungle, and the location is cliff-top, so expect some rugged terrain. The pay-off is in the fantastic views, the airiness, and the seclusion.
There's no mains electricity , but the generator powers sound systems, TV, lights, fans, and air con in two of the bedrooms.
We spent a lot of our time on the beach, and in the nearby restaurants, which are all a short walk through jungly paths, with hundreds of steps. You've got a choice of cliff-top or beach restaurants, but they're all pretty basic; ok for us, but don't expect a wine list.
We needed time to relax, so were happy to stay put most of the time, but if you're more enegetic, there are plenty of activities nearby - though you'd have to arrange transport. We saw elephant trekking, spas, zip-wires through the tree tops, and even a fishing lake!
We did go to the waterfall, which is within walking distance, but if you're like us, it's easier to get dropped off there. It was another idyllic haven.
Downsides - I don't think I ever had a shower that was even lukewarm, but then, the weather was never much below 30. It's a bit remote, so if you do want to do anything / go anywhere, you have to make the effort.
Difficult to pick a best moment, but gazing up at the stars from the pool, listening to the sea crashing on the rocks below takes some beating. -

We stayed at this property for 2 idylic weeks in January and the holiday was incomparable to anything else we have ever had. Despite its modern decor and well kept interior, the house is absolutely at the end of the Earth and the banana and pinapples growing in the garden remind you that you really are in the Jungle.
If you are looking for a holiday away from the noise of modern life, with nature literally on your door step, then this is your place. One evening we even got to see a rare glimpse of some monkeys in the trees at the back of the house, and had the photos emailed to our friends within minutes from the satellite internet ! Cool.
Its a very individual type of place, and I can imagine that it would not be suitable for everyone since it is a good walk from the nearest civilisation (15 mins). But if thats your thing - and it certainly is ours - then this place come with high recommendations. -

If you are looking for a fatastic luxury villa with all modern facilities yet dream of getting away from it all White Azure certainly delivers.
With breathtaking panoramic views and infinity pool the setting is magnificent and the house a joy to stay in.
Although a very social house with open plan living it still provides everyone with the opportunity to find there own space and get away to relax in private.
We all really enjoyed our time there and revelled in the snorkelling and jungle walks as well as the fantastic food and wonderful atmosphere.
Waking up to such views really recharged all our batteries and the teenage kids loved the wild surroundings and nearby restaurant culture.
All in all I cannot recomend White Azure enough and can't wait till next year when hopefully we will come out again with more friends to enjoy it all over again!
Thank you to everyone who together made our stay so enjoyable, you really know how to host the best parties and make your guests feel at home! -

This villa was out of this world. I saw it from the sea when on a day trip to Thansadet waterfall and saw that it was for rent and took it for a few days. The views are amazing from everywhere. The bedrooms are spacious and a always cool and breezy. The infinity pool was deep enough to always be cool and refreshing. The owner is really friendly and helpful when we needed advice or day trips organising. The small walk to the beach is easy yet the villa still feels private and secluded. One of the most comfortable places i've stayed. A real gem and will definitely be coming back. Great value for $$$. So tranquil. Loved it!

Very comfortable with charming staff, always on hand to help with anything and to drive if necessary. Wonderful swimming off the rocks,
lovely garden and good little local places to eat. Great walks and beaches a few minutes away. Not suitable for small children.or the ery elderly because there are steps down to the rocks. I will be back next year and would recommend this as a very special place to stay. -
