This superb 3 en-suite bedroom family sized pool villa shares sea views with all the other villas in the village named 'Talay Tong'. It is situated at the top of the hill close to Haad Salad beach, North West of the Island and has 2 allocated parking spaces at the front of the accommodation. Talay Tong Village_
The village is approx. 80 meters above sea level on the North West side of the Island. Set in a spectacular hillside setting, the Village overlooks the beautiful bay of "Haad Salad". The accommodation has been built to give clients a true "jungle" experience. You are able to relax and enjoy the tranquility with only the sound of wildlife to disturb the serenity.
A 4 x 4 Jeep is recommended, take either the main inner road or coastal road to the village ( please see "Island Map" within this section for more information ). There is only a short 100 meter "dirt track" after the turning from the main road and a concrete incline takes to the village. We have avoided disturbing the wildlife by doing it this way. The "dirt track" is government owned and we expect this to be concreted in the near future.
We have combined a contemporary design with traditional thai architecture. Using highly skilled thai craftsmen and reclaimed timber ( to avoid deforestation ), our Villas are truly unique and the only ones, of their kind, to be found anywhere on the Island. We are particular proud of the fact that The Forestry Agency have visited the Village and were very pleased with our approach to the build.
With over 20 years of landscaping experience, our gardens are developing into a "beautiful oasis". Using cuttings from existing folliage and combining these with rare and exotic tropical plants, has lead to a truly breathtaking sight. We are constantly maintaining and making improvements to the landscaping in order to add to the Village's beauty.

infinity pool was delightful and there are many excellent restaurants in close proximity
villa itself is furnished fairly basically but this is more than made up for by the beauty of the surroundings -

It was our second visit to Koh Phangan and our second stay at Talay tong. So good the first the first time around we just had to go back!
Talay Tong villas are beautifully designed bringing the outside in. With views from every angel and open plan living the fresh sea breeze drifts in through the many opening doors.
The house is spacious and clean, it has a sense of home with all its comforts yet the decor of teak Thai furniture brings joy of Thailand. It's in a lovely setting, quiet and tranquil. I'd advise a car anywhere on the island as there's so much to see. We travelled with our family of five and the house was perfectly designed to cater for our teenagers, with plenty of space to have a quiet moment away from the kids!
I would highly recommend Talay Tong to anyone wishing to holiday on Koh Phangan. It's affordable, comfortable, set in a great location, close to restaurants and beach yet private enough to be sheltered from noise. -

The villa was beautiful-elegant design,and so comfortable. Everything electrical worked including the DVD! It was really spacious and even if there are a couple of families you can spread out and have your own space.It is set in private tranquil grounds full of amazing plants and trees and because you are on the top of the hill-side you have panoramic views with the beach in view. The island retains its natural beauty and the villa just complements this. You can easily just idle about the pool all day. We hired a jeep and stocked-up with some supplies from the local town shops for evening Bbqs- warning the the (immported) wine was pricey! The bars and restaurants cater for all tastes and you can take your pick along the beach front all were perfect for watching the really dramatic sunsets. It felt really safe and good for kids too as the pool has a childs area and lots of places to play at the villa while remaining in view - similarly on the beach their was a friendly feel to the place and locals were so polite and friendly. I really can't praise it enough.You won't be disappointed.

Located off the beaten track (in the north west of the island), our villa was surrounded by luscious greenery. The setting was very tranquil, yet close enough to local ammenities and we were able to access everything the island has to offer. At night, the only sound was the local wildlife. The villa was extremely spacious and very stylish, with immaculate design details. Equipped with all mod-cons, we were able to make use of the self-catering facitilies. The infinity pool was a real delight - swimming in it whilst overlooking the sea view (& in the midst of the jungle) is an experience I wont forget in a hurry.
We organised a scooter, which enabled us to explore the island, but the villa provided a great place (and base) to wind down. A beer on the wooden balcony whilst watching the sun go down was a highlight.
