Bang Po Beach, where our resort the Lotus Terraces is located, is a quieter area on the northern shore of Koh Samui. Bang Por beach offers the perfect setting for those seeking a more sedate holiday away from the hustle and bustle but at the same time retaining its tropical magic.
There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance from the villa which serves Thai and western food. For more variety, Fishermen's Village, popular with many for its variety of good restaurants and shopping is 15 minutes drive away Chaweng is 40 minutes drive away from us.

I was fortunate enough to find The Lotus Terraces through Trip advisor last year whist searching the net for somewhere to have our wedding on Samui. How grateful I am for stumbling across this place!! It's hard to find the words to sum up how amazing and how beautiful our experience at The Lotus Villa was.
The staff greeted us with friendly faces and open arms and that's how they remained for the 4 days we spent there. We cannot thank Rose, "our housekeeper" enough for everything she did for all of us during our stay. We would have taken Rose home with us if we could (although apparently everybody says that). Rose, Jane and Sue arranged absolutely everything we needed and asked for, even if it meant a couple of trips for them to the shops a day!
We had the chef, Nang, cook the most delicious, freshest meals every evening for us all. We would definately recommend doing this. The beautiful aroma of Nang's Thai cooking filled the kitchen each evening.
The rooms were beautiful and the location stunning. We spent most of the time lounging around the balcony and pools. Not only did we have our own private pool which was nice and cool during the hot days, often we had the beautiful big shared pool to ourselves also. The guys also thoroughly enjoyed having a drink at the little beach bar next door to The Lotus Terraces .
So this brings me to my wedding. I cannot thank Ton enough for arranging the most magical day of my life, it truly was a fairytale. After months of emails, Ton had everything covered for my big day like I could not have imagined. She made the wedding almost stress free for us and exactly how we wanted it. Amazing, considering she did not even know me prior to this. The seafood buffet was possibly the most beautiful food I have ever tasted. The only problem with it was there was a little too much food and we were all extremely full by the end of then night as it was too delicious not too eat.
I can definately say on behalf of my husband and our friends, that we had the most beautiful and relaxing four days during our stay here. It was probably the best four days of my life so far. I cannot recommend The Lotus Villa at The Lotus Terraces highly enough. We will definatley be returning in the coming years to celebrate our anniversary.

186338Amazing stay during the Holiday Season

We stayed at Lotus Terraces for 3 days, and spent New years Eve on the beach, while we were served a spectacular dinner by Carol and Manfred, the owners. The food, service and company was excellent. The entire stay was top notch. We are looking forward to our next visit to Koh Samui, and will definetely stay again at this property.

I arrived with the idea of having a peaceful vacation, but after arrival I realized that I found much more. Nothing is left unattended. The staff explained what I could have without doing much myself, they recommended massages, food delivery, restaurants near by etc. and I only had to ask and they would organize it for me. They would even do your groceries shopping, if you feel like cooking or having some snacks on standby in your villa or room. The food (home delivery) recommended was delicious, the restaurants had a nice atmosphere and good food too. The massages were done by ladies recommended by the resort and very good, always on time, the room was prepared before hand. The rooms are tastefully decorated, a home away from home, wonderful mattresses, the bathrooms had all the luxuries you would like to have at home and they also have coffee machines etc in the houses or rooms.
The location is good, the most amazing sunsets, if it is not cloudy or raining, a nice sunny beach (maybe too sunny), clean sea and the resort itself is a green oases. I liked the Frangipanis best. You hear the ocean waves and in the evening cicadas and some frogs. It was paradise and unless you like the crowds and bars every night, this is the place I would recommend without doubts. The number of guests is limited so you will never find a group of tourists there or even near by! Transport into the nearby town Nathon or Chaweng Beach or any other place was no problem if you wanted to leave for a while. I could not find anything wrong and the staff is definitely worth a special thank you. If you let them they would spoil you completely. I extended my stay and if work would have permitted it and of course rooms, I would have extended my stay again and I will definitely come back as soon as possible.

We had to celebrate our birthdays and didn't want
to do this in Europe, because the weather might
play crazy and we love the tropical climates. We
booked Lotus terraces and stayed for 6 weeks and
had our kids from Holland and South Africa come
also for 4 weeks. We where altogether with 7 people
and some friends came over for the birthday
celebration and this place was fabulous- Nice
houses, good service, beautiful views, great
swimming area and a beautiful garden. For us the
best place so far in Koh Samui and we have been
there a lot. Highly recommendable for everyone who
wants to make his holiday a dream come trough.
