The beauty of Villa Baan Sai Tan's location is its perfect situation as a property in Bophut, Koh Samui. Nestling against the hill with such breathtaking views and yet minutes from stunning beaches, mouth-watering restaurants, funky shops and stunning spas, the location is almost unbelievable. All this and more is quite literally waiting on your doorstep, inviting you to indulge in the delights of Samui.
Five minutes drive from the villa is FishermanÃs Village, which is fast gaining a reputation that stretches way beyond Samui for being the most elegant and well-preserved place on the island. with its streets lined with old wooden Chinese shop-houses and interspaced with ultra stylish shops, gorgeous bars and restaurants that match the tone, it retains a distinctly Thai feel with total sabai sabai charm.
During the day you can rent small yachts, jet skis, snorkelling gear and kayaks. Exhilarating kite surfing and a host of other water activities ensure you have plenty to do all day. There are also some diving shops in the area, offering scuba lessons or day dives to sites in the famous Ang Thong Marine Park, Sail Rock or Koh Tao Island. Barefoot luxury holds the accolade of one of the first million dollar villas on Samui six years ago and I can see why. It's a real gem, this Balanese beauty is located in the hills off Bophut and only 5 minutes to the beach, so the best of both worlds with this villa. Villa Manager Jeab and her team are faultless in their approach to guests, everything is catered for from shopping, cooking, babysitting, to organising our day trips. Barefoot luxury exceeded our expectations indeed !

10 days of absolute bliss. The villa is fantastic with its lush tropical gardens and stunning views over the coastline and surrounding islands. There is a very warm comfortable feeling about this villa and I have stayed in many on my travels. We will definitely book for next year with the family.

We are 6 friends meeting in Thailand for a long awaited reunion, so we wanted a quality villa in a good location with great services. This villa ticks all the boxes and more. The villa is beautifully done, the staff are excellent, the food amazing and we had many wonderful days by the pool with in house masseurs looking over the beautiful views on Samui and Koh Phanang. I would definitely recommend this villa to all.

We stayed for a week for a quick family break in the tropics and wow what a great choice of villa. Simply stunning location with panoramic views over Bophut and surrounding islands, What a great way to start your day with the kids with breakfast by the pool. We highly recommend Baan sai Tan for families and groups of 6 with children looking for luxury and great value for money.

The place is awesome, villa facility is awesome, service is awesome and the overall experience is beyond our expectation! We would certainly come back again. The kids loved the pool and garden area, which made our stay even more comfortable and trendy fisherman's village is 5 minutes way. I recommend a boat trip or two to the marine park we saw dolphins and turtles what an amazing sight that was. Cant thank you enough barefoot luxury!

This is our first time at Baan Sai Tan. It has certainly exceeded our expectations. Everyone in my party has really relaxed and enjoyed our stay so much and we are all planning for our next trip to return to barefoot luxury later this year. I have to say the price compared to similar 3 bedroom villas we looked at on Samui gives so much value for your money. A real gem in paradise!

This holiday was made in heaven. The Villa is beautifully nestled in Bophut. Everyday we woke up to wonderful views over Bophut and the surrounding islands, coffee morning will never be the same again! Jaeb and all the staff are very attentive to our every need they even made chocolate cakes with our children Jack and Lola, needless to say baby sitting was a breeze.

Simply loved my stay, the villa with its beautiful tropical gardens and panoramic views over Bophut Bay, the Staff service and food was delightful, and the location to Bophut and Fisherman's village with its beautiful beach and walking street market. Probably goes down as my best holiday destination for a long time. We will come back to stay again.

We vacationed with another family and our group of three kids. What a great welcoming, and relaxing week! The fresh food made for us was delicious! We were able to relax by the pool and not worry about a thing. Fresh pool towels, fruits and iced tea served poolside and discreet service. Jean, the on site manager, was fabulous. So friendly and knowledgeable about the area and even helped watch the kids so we could all get massages. We would definitely go again!

We needed a place to get away from it all so we could buckle down and song write with no distractions. The criterior was pretty tricky to full-fill on as being 2 ladies alone we were conscious of needing a place somewhat like a retreat with limited distractions allowing for work. We wanted to be away from noise and the buzz of holiday makers but also close enough to some restaurants and island life so if we wanted to head out to dinner we were not a 30 minute drive to anywhere and also not scared to be alone there. Well Baan Sai Tan ticked all the boxes! Firstly it was so beautiful that that in itself was inspirational. The birds that nested in the tress were tropical parrots of some description the villa gardener told us. The butterflies that swept through the garden a kaleidoscope of colours, the sea view simply breathtaking and the sound of nature a warm welcome from our Maltese town homes. We spent 2 glorious weeks there where we produced some brilliant works and had perhaps one of the most relaxing and rewarding holidays of our lives. A total must! Thank you Baan Sai Tan!

I really cannot praise the beautiful Baan Sai Tan villa highly enough. It is clearly evident that the elements which are key to the most enjoyable vacation have been thoroughly considered here because the attention to detail is faultless on all levels.
With the location you get the best of both worlds. The villa is situated in the hills in a very quiet row, giving a fine sense of privacy with no chance of any unwanted noise disturbance from the street.
Convenience/grocery shops are a short drive downhill to the ring road if you need to stock up on essentials. Best of all however are the panoramic sea views which will take your breath away at every glance, having these greet you each day adds a magical scenic element to your stay at Baan Sai Tan.
The slick design of the villa itself is exceptional, with stylish décor, fixtures and furnishings throughout. The rooms are very spacious with high ceilings, very large en-suites & walk-in closets and the showers? Pure joy! All areas are spotlessly clean with no signs of wear & tear. Each room has air conditioning and as for the issue of pest control, well there is no issue, so no worry of creepy crawlies etc. waking you in the middle of the night!
The infinity pool is set in the most picturesque of scenes encompassing sea views, beautifully landscaped gardens and chill out decking areas that would turn even the most decadent of Miami's 5 star Collins Drive hotels emerald green with envy!
The overall flavour of Baan Sai Tan is of, spacious open spaces filled with natural light. Beautiful views, and glamorously accessorised surroundings, sophisticated chilled out relaxed living.

Beautifully clean, well appointed, 3 bedroom villa.
Perfect for our family of two teenage children and ourselves.
Loved the pool and Sala
Housemaid Kiat is a fabulous chef, hard to decide whether to go out to eat or stay in. Mostly we ate out at lunch and ate in for dinner.
We hired a car through the villa managers, which was great to get around the island and be totally independent. Location close to Fishermans Village by car, lovely to be away from the madding crowd down the hill. Villa Managers were quick to answer any queries via email during the booking process and met us at the airport with our hire car.

We have just returned from our very own little paradise, Baan Sai Tan. I fell in love with it all! The villa with all it's luxurious comforts yet retaining a distinctly asian feel. The staff, warm friendly and helpful with some delicious Thai recipes. The location was unbelievable, we felt so distanced from the throng of Chaweng and yet in 5 minutes we were amidst old Thai shop houses in the quaint yet buzzing Fisherman's Village where we had a great selection of yummy restaurants or infact the beach. By day we chilled by the pool writing music undisturbed except for Jeab's delicious freshly cut fruit platters and ice tea with refreshing towels. Which to be honest had me thinking she was a mind reader as we never requested it, she simply arrived knowing it was that time of day, just perfect. By night we would often relax home reading and watching movies or head out using the in villa taxi service. It was difficult to leave, i had just the best time!

Ban Sai Tan is the most beautiful place I've ever stayed at, transfers to and from the airport, set up high above Fisherman's village,it has spectacular views overlooking the sea, the luxurious bedrooms,all have sea views. the service is great, The maid Kiat and her 2 little helpers as i called them,were always at hand, she served me fresh fruit for breakfast, and given notice in advance,she also cooked my meals, Kiat prepared a beautiful buffet for me and my friends served by the pool one evening, the place is cleaned everyday, she is very discreet, she's there but invisible at the right moments.. I hired a car so i could explore the Island, and a Taxi is just a call away.i never forget sitting by the pool in the evenings sipping wine and eating the little delicious bites that Kiat prepared for me. heavenly evenings..i wanted a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and that is exactly what i got in this beautiful place, I would really recommend it .like the title.. a little piece of heaven..

Us girls had planned a trip away for some serious chill time and of course a desire to sun kiss our skin for a friends wedding back home as we were the brides maids and wanted to look our best. We picked Baan Sai Tan because of the gorgeous pictures, great promotion price and what it said in the advert, a great location close to everything and yet retreat like which was exactly what we wanted. I have got to say it was just that. We arrived and actually thought it was a mini resort the way it was all laid out in the garden with beautiful sea views and it totally felt like a sanctuary. The sun deck got the sun all day and the pool was just gorgeous for that cool down that really is essential in the Samui sun. We really got pampered. Tuen( hope i spelt that right) was so lovely, she was like a secret maid service tidying up behind us and popping up with refreshment delights and fruit platters as we chilled by the pool. i have gotta say her cooking was scrummy and that green curry was to live for. We hired scooters which was perfect and when we went out by night we took the recommended taxi service number so we could have a wee drink and not worry about getting home which was great. The massage services at the villa were cheap and brilliant, me personally loving anne's expert hands in getting out all those built up work knots! We had such an amazing time we have already booked next year as we know that the other girlies in our group would simply love this place and so we are coming back for a second round of paradise.

In January we stayed with our family (6 persons) in Baan Sai Tan for 8 days. It was fabulous! We were picked up from the airport and at arrival at the house there was Kyatt, the housekeeper to welcome us. Very friendly and drinks were available already. The beautiful living area with large kitchen and veranda with beautiful views over de garden, the hills and the sea were breathtaking. We all had our separate very large and luxury bedroom with bathroom. Through the beautiful garden you come by the private swimming pool with the lounge retreate. We have sit there many times and eaten at nights at the swimming pool. What more could you wish. The housekeeper was very friendly. She provided us in the morning with fresh fruit, kept the bedrooms and everything clean and even cooked for us twice, which is recommendable!
We rented a car, so we could explore the island ourselves, which was great. Nice villages, lots to sea on the island, rented a boat for a day and for the rest we relaxed at the villa.
If we go back to Koh Samui we surely come back at Ban Saai Tan!
