On the left, is a private L-shaped swimming pool which has the central pavilion housing the villa's fully-fitted kitchen together with living and dining areas that overlook the pool.

The villa is located on Maenam beach at the end of a winding road offering total privacy. Maenam has the most striking beach on the North coast, fringed with swaying coconut trees, spaced perfecting for a hammock. The beach is steeply pitched, good for swimming close to shore, and the water is fairly clear.
The villa has private parking and 24H security.
There are some great restaurants and bars along the beach next to the villa offering both European and Thai food and there are also lots of restaurants and bars along the main road running through Maenam.

My family and I stayed at Miskawaan for three days for our wedding. My husband and I have nothing but praise for the team at Miskawaan. From the moment I contacted them to enquire about having our wedding at the villas to the moment we checked out they were the most helpful, kind, professional team I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. A special thanks to Jah for doing such a fantastic job and for being so patient with me and my millions of questions. She always promptly replied to any queries I had and for certain items I didn't have a clue about she provided fantastic ideas. There were many items I left to her choice, trusting she would do a fantastic job based on our email communications...I was not wrong. Everything was beautiful. There were so many little touches, from the unique treats on our beds each night, to the beautiful towel and flower arrangements on our beds, to roses petals in our baths that made us feel so special. The villas have everything you could possibly want. The villa team really became like family, we will never forget all the good times we had together.
My family travelled from australia, South africa, Botswana and the United Kingdom for the wedding and Jah accommodated everyone from the three year old to the over 60's. I won't forget our morning coffees and breakfasts overlooking the beach. The food at the villas is fanstastic. Nothing was ever too much to ask. I would not have changed a thing. I never thought I would be so calm on my wedding day but knowing everything was in such good hands we just relaxed, drank champagne and had fun. We have travelled to many places in the world and stayed in many types of accommodation, if you want a relaxing, luxurious, beautiful place to stay, this is it! My only regret is we didn't stay longer...next time we will! -

My family & I, together with our close friends have just returned from a wonderful stay at Miskawaan Villa Frangipani. Blissful, perfect and relaxing are only just a few words I would use to describe our experience...two families with 5 children aged 4 and under is not really a recipe for rest and relaxation however I haven't felt so relaxed in a long time. The villa was so perfect for our requirements that we never felt the need to go anywhere else. The staff were always on hand to help when required, the food was delicious, and the beach was literally just few steps away from our private swimming pool...the layout couldn't have been better as we were able to have adult time and space outside of the rooms but still with full visibility of the sleeping quarters to know that the children were sleeping, safe & sound. The staff were so kind to do a dinner setting at 5.30pm for the children and again at 8pm for the adults.
The attention to detail was outstanding. It was my daughters 2nd Birthday whilst we were there, our villa manager Jah and her team set the dinner table so beautifully and decorated a lovely flower arrangement on our bed that evening. It was the best 2 year old Birthday party I have ever been to and will take a lot of living up to...Elephant trekking organized by Jah, Kayaking (compliments of Miskawaan) a delicious dinner and champagne for the grown ups.
I almost shed a tear as we said goodbye.
Thank you so much for having us to stay and we hope to return again soon. -

We stayed at the miskawaan villa gardenia for 4 nights in the last week of march. Our stay was wonderful. The place, the service, the staff and the convenient but serene location were all perfect. Nim our villa in charge was super efficient and always willing to be of service and she was ably assisted by the rest of her team. They made our stay most enjoyable and we will surely return. The beach is not the the greatest but the view is and it more than made up by the super private pool.

We stayed for 12 nights at Miskawaan in March 2013. The resort is perfect organised and managed. The villas are in best conditions with a stylish architecture and a big private pool! MaeNam beach is nice and clean, not overcrowded and the waterqualitiy is fine. But the absolute highlight was the private service we got by your private chef, your villa manager and your room maid! Many thanks to Fire, Pooky and In!! Fire is an incredible talented and creative chef on a high gourmet level. Just let him work and use his creativity. He will surprise you every day! This place is not to top! We will come back for sure!

We stayed at Miskawaan for our wedding, and really can't fault the experience in any way.
Initially we chose Miskawaan because we knew we would have some guests with kids attending the wedding, but didn't want to pick a family resort for our friends without kids who would want to be able to relax without kids running around and screaming. We have a baby ourselves and when we were looking for a place to stay found that many of the nicer venues don't allow kids under a certain age (and fair enough, too).
I was convinced that I would be let down when I arrived, even just a little bit, because of the glowing reviews about this place but not only wasn't I disappointed, but my expectations were surpassed.
It is not just the villas - they are amazing, spotless, spacious, well-designed, elegant and comfortable - but there is certainly more luxurious accommodation out there if gold taps are your kind of thing.
I also really liked the fact that the staff went home in the evening after dinner (after letting you know they were only a phone call and a short distance away should you need anything) - it really added to the impression that you were staying in your own private hideaway, which in fact we were.
This is not the place for those who want to stay in a 600 room mega-resort with hundreds of staff faking smiles as they open the door for you, just another one of the thousands of guests they see every day. Miskawaan is a place to go for a truly memorable, special, one of a kind, personal holiday, tailored especially for you (and your family and friends).
We will be back!! Hopefully sooner rather than later.

I celebrated my 40th birthday at Miskawaan (Villa Lotus, Champak and Gardenia) from the 21st to the 24th of July 2012. We were a total of 30 people.
The Miskawaan experience begins much before you actually arrive. In my e.mail communications with various people like Victoria, Jah and Meenapat, all my queries were answered succinctly and the information provided was extremely helpful in allowing me to better organize the celebrations.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by an amazingly efficient and polite team of staff that run each villa, led by an in-villa manager who was like a walking encyclopedia on Koh Samui. Everything was organized by them with effortless ease and in a manner that made all decision-making a breeze. My special thanks to Tal who looked after us so well in Villa Lotus.
The villas themselves are spectacular. Each room is different, but none disappoints. The beds are huge, comfortable and the linen is of excellent quality. The bathrooms are spotless, cleaned twice a day and well maintained. The airconditioning is thankfully over-engineered which is a much relief from the heat. Each room is beautifully appointed and honestly on par (if not better) than any hotel room i have stayed at in the Four Seasons or the Banyan Tree properties. The master bedrooms in the villas are certainly much larger that any room in any hotel i have stayed at, in fact they are huge. The villas have flat screen TVs, are wi-fi enabled, have extremely modern kitchens with huge refrigerators, and even coffee machines to deliver the perfect brew and chillers besides the bar counters to keep beers, wines and champagne ice cold. -

miskawaan was beyond beyond my expectations! i had booked out the waterlily and lotus for my 40th bash! i can't tell you how the team looked after us! jah was an outstanding event coordinator whose dictionary did not have the word "no" and who delivered whatever she committed too! tal and poh who where our villa managers were supperb and took incredible care of all of us! the most important thing about the miskawaan team was that they were always smiling,always helping and always trying to fullfill the whims and fancys of 19 women! their service can give the top top hotels or resorts a run for their money! food was outstanding!!! the place was sooo beautiful!!! it could not get any better then this!!! and i am someone who enjoys staying at the best hotels and loves luxury!!! outstanding! outstanding! outstanding! thank you for a supperb time!

I stayed at the Miskawaan - Villa Gardeina for a week and wish I could of stayed longer! The villa is beautiful and the staff were very friendly. They greeted us at the airport when we arrived and were always there when we needed something. We were fortunate enough to have Tai as our hostess. She always had a smile on her face and willing to help us with our needs. Our villa was spacious and literally steps away from the beach. The rooms were clean and very spacious. Our villa also had a large kitchen as well and the chef made delicious meals for us daily. The villa is centrally located, just a drive away to restaurants and the markets. I had the best massage there as well, the sounds of the waves in the background was most relaxing. I will definitely be coming back to this luxurious resort and will tell my friends and family about this beautiful place as well.

Just got back 2 weeks ago from Miskawaan. We stayed at the luxurious Villa Gardenia. What an experience is was. We were greeted by Tai and her wonderful staff. This place is has it all, oversized modern rooms, private pool, enormous kitchen, and the best thing -it's located right on the beach. Miskawaan is 10 min away from the Fisherman's market, and the lively night markets of Chaweng.
This Trip was truly memorable for me and my friends. I will be definitely coming back to Miskawaan. I recommend this place to all my friends and family -

We stayed at the beautiful Gardenia Villa where we enjoyed swimming in the private pool or soaking up the sun on Maenam beach just steps from the villa. The resort is absolutely stunning and we were treated like royalty with the incredible attention and hospitality from Tai and her team. This is the perfect spot to go to if you want to relax and take it easy and the views from the villa are truly unbelievable. Furthermore, the chef at the resort prepared delicious Thai dishes along with other cuisines. The whole experience at Miskawaan Resort is one that you will never forget and will make you want to come back again!

I just came back from Miskawaan a week ago where my sisters and a friend stayed in Villa Gardenia during a magical week. I can't say enough of the beautiful resort and the exceptional staff, especially Tai who was an excellent hostess. Miskawaan is a great place to go with family and friends who are looking for relaxation in a private yet convenient location on the island of Koh Samui. Duringt the day you can lounge by your private pool or else you have the beach a few steps awayaccessible by your private gate and in the evening you can take a short taxi ride to the night markets of Bophut and Chaweng. This is a place I would definitely go back to despite being half way around the world.
