A design and comfortable house, on a small and relaxed island, in the Gulf of Thailand.
A quiet area, on a hill, with an easy access at only 1.5 km from the beach and from the village of Saree.
Our house is a perfect place for a couple, for some romantics holidays.
As the temperature is around 30 degres all year long, we live much more outside than inside on the island. That's why we decided to give the priority to the outside and the terrasses are almost twice bigger than the inside of the house. We can organise taxi transfer for you from the pier. Price is 350 THB.
For air con, there s an extra charge of 200 THB / day. But except in march and april, the very hot season, air con is not necessary.

We were travelling the islands for some weeks and ended our time with a 12 days stay at the Bungalov, our absolute highlight. We loved the house and it's superior location above the bay of Sairee - it offers all you need, is beautifully furnitured, well equipped, clean and very well-kept. The outdoor space is huge and absolutely charming. Cecile, the owner is very friendly and helpful. Robert takes care of the house for her and is a great help too. He picked us up and was easy to reach in case of questions or needs. We felt very welcome and enjoyed every minute of our time. The only thing to keep in mind when staying at the Bungalov is that you need a powerful scooter (125) to get up the hill with 2 people on the bike. Our summary: it is a wonderful place and we will come back!

Owning a vacation rental myself in Costa Rica probably makes me a more difficult customer. My girlfriend and I were traveling the islands staying exclusively at private villas. You only live once! We were on Koh Phangan when we decided on very short notice to go to Koh Tao. We made a few inquiries at other properties but had a difficult time getting the owners to respond. Not Cecile, however. She replied to my request promptly even though our stay would be one day shorter than her requested minimum. She was ok with that issue so we quickly organized our travel plans and she had Robert meet us on the pier in Koh Tao. Robert had only a scooter so I rented one on arrival so we could get our luggage to the house. A taxi could easily be hired to accomplish this task also but we like the freedom the scooter affords. The house was great. Situated above Sairee Bay with a great view and cooling breezes. The hill coming up to the house is a bit steep but we had traversed much steeper already and with 2 on the scooter. Go with the 125cc bike for more power. We rented from Kook at the bottom of the hill and they were really fair at under $200 baht per day for a new Honda. The inside area of the house isn't huge but is great for a couple. Nice wood floors and polished concrete. The decor was tasteful and most importantly, it was clean. The outside space is actually larger and isn't overlooked so you have real privacy. In the event of rain some of the outside space is covered. We really liked how many outside seating ares there were. Use mosquito repellent at dawn & dusk. Wifi would be a nice touch and I understand that is under way. The villa is an easy drive to Sairee Village which has many choices for food. We liked the lattes at Zest in the morning. Since the island is small it takes little time to get around, but the roads are a bit rough. We really enjoyed our stay at the Bungalove and the time went too fast. I hope we get to come back again some day soon.

In all honesty, the Bungalove was absolutely perfect for us. It had amazing views, privacy, the most scenic shower in the world, a small kitchen for coffee and making a little breakfast in the mornings. It's location in the hills meant that there was often a nice breeze running through the apartment that did not seem to make it through to Sairee very often. Also, the sunsets were absolutely perfect and better than any other bar we could find in Koh Tao! We will be highly recommending it to any friends to as the only way of visiting Koh Tao.
I guess, in summary, we would say that it is the perfect place for a couple (without any young kids) who like to be able to enjoy fantastic views from a beautifully designed and decorated private house without being overlooked and are comfortable with a scooter.

If you love nature and fine design, you'll love this place. Its simple, open and yet clever and elegant design means that you can enjoy the beautiful interior space, but still always feel like you are outside in nature. From this location, you can enjoy the feeling of being in a beautiful tropical island jungle, whilst overlooking the ocean, and taking in a fantastic view of the island and mountains, all at once. It is far enough away to feel totally at peace and secluded, and yet in reality, you are only ten minutes away from all the social life the island has to offer. A real special gem of a place, I was very lucky to get to spend some time there.

The week we spent at the bungalove was a unique experience! The view on Sairee Bay is awesome, the architecture of the house great in the middle of a lovely garden. We could stare at the sea from the bed, without moving!!
We really enjoyed to be in a place so quiet and beautiful, only 5 minutes away from Sairee beach by motorbike. And when you're tired of diving, the beautiful Tipimarn Spa is not far.We could have walked, it is only 10 minutes away walking,but they came to pick us up down the house! Great!
Ok, ther's no swimming pool, but the beach is so close that it's ok!!!

Nous avons passé 2 séjours au Bungalove et esperons bien y retourner a nouveau. C est un endroit plein de charme, situé sur une colline, au milieu des cocotiers et offre une superbe vue sur la baie et la plage de Saree.
Pour y acceder, un scooter est tres utile car meme si le village n est pas loin, la route monte pas mal, mais elle est goudronnée tout le long, donc cela se fait facilement.
La terrasse est si agréable qu on peut y passer des heures a regarder le soleil se lever, se coucher ou les ecureuils jouer dans les arbres ! C'est calme, on s y sent tres relax et un peu privilegié.
Parfait pour des vacances romantiques en couple. -

The house is very stylish. Perfect refuge for couple in privacy and calm over the tropical paradise. 15 minutes by foot or 3-4 by bike to sea, shops, restorants.
House is made with style and love. The owner is exceptionally pleasant person. Location is unique on this island - you could be really alone. I would say - great place!
