We stayed at condo 33 for a week over New Year's, and it was a wonderful experience. The condo is very well done, all the amenities are there and in great condition, the location (both within the complex and the complex itself) is perfect. We loved having breakfast on our lanai, with a view of the ocean, every morning. It's a short walk to the Sheraton so we could go there for drinks or to lounge on the beach. The administration were very gracious. All in all, a wonderful condo and resort, would go back in a heartbeat!

Our family of four greatly enjoyed our week-long stay at Poipu Kapili. When can we come back? The condo was very nicely decorated and had all we needed to entertain ourselves, cook in or BBQ near the tennis courts, or head to the beach. Beautiful grounds and pool and terrific location in the heart of Poipu with gorgeous view from inside and out on the lanai! The one-bedroom, two-bath layout worked out great for us and while the kids didn't have their own bedroom the spacious 1,000+ SF was very comfortable for all. Very helpful, friendly staff who helped us with dinner recommendations, event suggestions and more (Yes, ziplining was exciting and sweaty-palm fun!) Highly recommend this small, service-minded condo community!

The location and placement of each condo insures great views from every unit. Unit 33 is well appointed very clean and accessible to pool barbecues and other amenities

First of all, let me say that I love the Poipu Kapili and all of the people that work there. In all of my trips to Kauai (probably ten or more) the Kapili is where I prefer to stay. The manager, the office people, the cleaning staff ... everyone ... is top notch and cannot do enough for you.
Regarding Condo 33 ... pretty nice. As a matter of fact the owner has installed a new high efficiency a/C unit that left me sleeping under both a blanket and a comforter at night. The furnishings are also worth noting and I suggest that you go online to take a look at the condo.
My one criticism of the condo is that there is no washer and dryer available inside the unit. There is a nice sized closet that contains nothing but some shelving with plates, bowls, etc. designated for lanai use. My suggestion for the owners would be to move the lanai dinnerware, rip out the shelving, and put a washer and dryer in that space.
Please remember that this review is for Condo 33 only and it is coming from someone who comes to Kauai to work for a couple of months at a time (which means a washer and a dryer are pretty important). This is not a review of the Kapili as a whole, which I always recommend to others. -

Loved this condo. Well equipped and positioned. The staff were helpful, and knowledgable.
The only issue I had was the shower head needs replacing.
The condo is well positioned to walk to restaurants & shops. It's across the road from the beach but if you walk down to the left past the Shearton there is a beautiful public beach to swim and watch the amazing sunsets.
