Our family of five - my husband, our grown son and daughter and son-in-law, spent a great week here. The home is lovely, plenty of room for us to spread out and an awesome wake-up view from the master bedroom. Location is great - easy access to main roads to sightsee, less than 5 minutes drive to Poipu Beach and less than 10 minutes walk to Shipwreck Beach along the Hyatt Beach access path. Staff was gracious and helpful.

Small complaint about some of the dishes needed to be cleaned before using, and a bit more detail and thoroughness needed in the cleaning for the money charged on this suit, but not bad enough to complaine. We had a great stay. eo

So beautiful! Well maintained, stocked with linens, dishes, etc. I would definitely recommend to friends. Kalapaki Joe's was great. Koloa shopping was awesome. Post office and grocery store right there. Great people there. Beaches down the dirt road past the Hyatt were more accessible than they said. Any car will be fine taking the road. Well worth it.Take the path( and flashlight and umbrella to Hyatt at night, and hang out at the bar. Great staff and service at the Hyatt. They have luau and brunch too.
Pros; more comforts than my own home.Very quiet, lovely atmosphere.
Cons:Must drive to everything. Too far to walk to the beach, pools,parking too far for disabled, elderly, and children. I am a healthy 47 yr old, but have bone and muscle damage from chemo therapy and was having a tough time with walking the whole path to the house from the car. Staff was very rude,and Un-friendly! Except one gal, did not give me her name.They gave the worst directions and were not helpful in finding anything, including the pool right (to the right) down the path at the office -

Our parents with their two daughters and sons-in law stayed here September 11-17, 2011. The property was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The master bedroom had its own en suite spa bathroom. The other two bedrooms shared the other bathroom which had entry doors at both ends. This made for a little bit of hustling to make sure to close both doors in order to assure privacy and then remembering to unlock them both when leaving. Washer and dryer came in very handy. Bookcases were filled with local authors, travel to places of interest on the island, cd's with local musicians, and cookbooks; also a bookcase for all the novels folks have left for others to enjoy. A covered deck off the dining room on the south side made meal time pleasant; the deck off the living room faced east and provided beautiful panoramic views of the nearby beaches and the mountains. There was a full moon that week so the views of the ocean in the moonlight off this deck were fantastic. Beaches and attractions were within walking distance. I would recommend this place as two thumbs up!

It was a great location, the unit
was perfect for our family. The
only downfall was the washing machine broke, but maintenence was going to replace it.Good service, but found out later it would have been much cheaper to rent scuba gear off the premises. -

This is the third stay using Suite Paradise at Poipu, Kauai and it gets better every time. This was a 25th anniversary celebration where we took our two adult daughters, son-in-law and not quite 2 year old grandson with us. The house was spacious, modern and the lanais were safe for a toddler. Beautiful view.
