The unit is large and well furnished; lovely decor. Master bedroom suite is terrific with very comfortable bed. Twin room is also spacious. Very nice kitchen.

Located near Poi'pu Beach these condos are well equipped and well located. A car would be useful but you can also snorkel, walk, swim in pool, watch sunsets. Grand Hyatt is 10 minute walk away if you want a fine dining experience but Kalapaki Joe's and Brenneke's are also just a few minutes away.

Stayed in there for almost a week. The place is spacious and confortable. No aC needed (fan is enough). I love the kitchen even we didn't get to really cook, but it was good to have the option. The unit is also close to the parking lot, which makes it very convenient for us to upload and unload stuff from our car.
The only down side will be the sound proof quality. I could hear kids running around upstairs like crazy. But everything will be golden if nobody is above the unit. -

The condo was very spacious, clean and well maintained in all aspects. Since we did a lot of cooking in the unit, it would have been nicer to see the kitchen stocked with a better selection of typical spices. The only real negative I saw was the fact that there wasn't a dedicated wireless internet connection. In this day of age with many people having ipads, kindles, and other devices requiring this it would seem this would be a given or at least something available for a minimal charge. I had intended to do some work while on vacation and not being able to do this due to lack of wireless was a bit frustrating. I will admit my 2 other places in Honolulu lacked this as well so maybe this is the norm. This addition would set this place apart from the others for a business person trying to fit travel in. Since we were traveling with little ones, I did appreciate the tight security / locked swimming pool area. I would recommend this place to others. With the addition of wireless addition, this would get a 5 star rating.

We have stayed at Regency Poipu Kai for 12 yearly visits. This unit was one of the nicest we have stayed in. The decor and furniture was lovely. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and the proximity to several quality restaurants. The service we received from Suite Paradise was friendly and accomodating. We always feel as if we have come home.

This condo is perfect for families with small children. Located 7 minute walking pathway to brenneke beach, one of the best swimable beaches on the island. My children, ages 10, 8, and 6 loved this white sand beach with terrific waves and asked to swim here everyday.
The condo was equiped with a handy washer and dryer and everything you need to prepare home cooked meals. There is a small pool and hot tub with 2 bar-b-q located nearby.
Only issues are somewhat thin walls and close to main road could be a little noisy if you're a light sleeper. -

We loved staying at Poipu Kai! Easy access to the beach, as well as restaurants. Excellent location for getting around the island for sightseeing. The staff was friendly, the pools were excellent and our rooms were the best. Comfortable, clean, well stocked. We're already planning our return trip next trip next year.

During the first 3 days of our trip we ran into a few problems with the unit. The living room fan was not working properly (this is important w/o aC), the fridge broke down, and the unit did not have a rice cooker (a neccessity in hi). After mentioning these discrepencies to guest services they addressed them in a timely manner. The rest of our 3 weeks was an enjoyable time. Centrally located on the island which made it easy for us to travel and tour around. Prices for food and amenities were a bit high in Poipu but a quick 15 minute drive to Lihue solved all of that. Beaches were very family friendly both day and night.

We were fortunate to find this beautiful gardenview suite when the 'wheelchair friendly' suite we had originally rented to accomodate my disabled son and my daughter had doorways too narrow to get a wheelchair through. Regency 313 was a great find, with its ramped entrance, wide doorways, updated and roomy kitchen, nice master suite and spacious bathrooms. It is also very bright and inviting, with island style decorating. The living room is sunken, but we were able to make it work. Although the suite is close to the main road, we did not find the traffic noise excessive. Paved pathways made access to the pools and restaurant easy. The beach was several minutes walk away - a bit too far for wheeling but okay for walking. Its quick to drive to the beach, which is what we did.
