  Dark unit on busy corner overlooking parking lot.
  We were told that it was an "Upgrade" from a one bedroom garden view room. We did not need two bedrooms. After two days, a much brighter and more cheerful unit came available.

  We stayed in unit 510 in the Regency section of the complex. We appreciated the warm greeting and uncomplicated check-in process. When we got to the unit, we were immediately dismayed to find the the 'Deluxe Garden View' was actually looking out onto the parking lot, not a garden. When we entered the unit we were met by the smell of animal urine. It was pretty strong. We found that there were little deodorant discs around the carpeted areas of the unit, but the smell was still pretty strong. We opened all the doors and aired it out. It helped. The unit was very spacious and otherwise seemed very clean. We appreciated all the space. One other problem: later that night when we turned on the tv, we found it was broken. The next morning we got a call from the front deck to ask how everything was. We told them about the t.v. and the smell. Someone came out right away with a replacement t.v. It was tiny, but it was explained that they weren't able to buy a proper replacement without the permission of the units owners. That made sense. Besides, we weren't there to watch t.v.! The staff also sent a cleaning woman by who put some more deodorant discs down. It didn't really help, but it was nice that they responded so quickly. Other than that, the place was great; well-maintained grounds, clean pool areas, very conveniant location. Several beaches were within walking distance and it was a great place for us to have our kids. Many restaurants and shops were near-by (a long walk or a very short car ride). All in all, we had a good experience and would stay at Suite Paradise again, just not in that particular unit.

  Update needed

  While the unit was spacious and had a nice layout, it felt dated. There was a musty odor to the place, lighting in the rooms was poor, bathroom showers and guest bathroom fixtures were old, stereo and tv remote non-functional and deck flooring was broken in several places. It was very disappointing.

  Upon reading this review, we inspected the condo. There is a small area on the living room lanai where the painted on flooring was missing. I will report this to the General Manager for the Homeowner Association. We added lighting and discovered tht the bathroom fixtures were fine. We added battries to the remote. We wish the guest would have called maintenance while they were here to fix many of their concerns.
