      Nice condo by the pool

      This spacious condo is on the ground floor looking out to a lawn and Pe'e Road. We liked the large bedroom and over sized tub. The bed was very comfortable. We had the windows open most of the time and we enjoyed the air flow through the condo. We received morning sun and mostly shade in the afternoon. The kitchen was a small galley style and was well equipped except there were only 5 small spoons. The furniture was OK but not super comfortable. The lanai was OK but faced the east and when the wind was strong, we did not use the lanai. Overall, we enjoyed our month stay here. There was plenty of room for 2 people. The location of this condo is ideal because it is about half way between Poipu Beach and Shipwrecks Beach where we liked to walk to and hang out

      Be careful when making online reservations with Suite Paradise.

      We reserved a specific unit in the Kahala development of Poipu Kai using the Suite Paradise website. We received confirmation of the rental via email. However, when we arrived we were assigned a unit in the Makanui development. When we pointed out the error we were told that the only reservation they had on record for us was for a first-available garden view unit.

      Because their records were different from ours, we were asked to prove our claim that we had rentd a specific unit. We didn't have a copy with us and had to get someone at home to email the email we had received from Suite Paradsie confirming our reservation (lesson learned: always travel with *all* paperwork!)

      Suite Paradise was kind enough to refund us 15% of the cost of our rental once we was able to prove our claim.
      However, we were stuck with Makanui unit 511 as the Kahala unit we had reserved was occupied.

      Makanui 511 is situated on the ground floor of a 4 unit building and fronts a well-used road. It made for a very noisy and unpleasant trip. We couldn't use the lanai for all the noise and fumes from the passing vehicles. The kitchen was minimally equiped, the clothes washer bleach dispenser was rusted out, the floors were grubby. I cannot not reccomend the unit.

      Work trip, didn't use suite or property much. Path between two beaches accessing all Suite Paradise properties was very nice.

      The heated pool was near the front door. The walkway around Poipu was easily accessed. The beach and ocean were just over the hill, easy to access.

      Suite Paradise has so many choices in rentals, and we were able to book within two weeks of our visit, even though mostly everything was filled. The condo we selected was everything as promised,and we were delighted to find upon our arrival that the location was even better than the website showed. It was private, quiet, and a beautiful location close to the ocean, with a great garden setting from our lanai. We had everything we needed and even a bottle of chilled wine and glasses in the fridge waiting for us! The unit itself was very nice and comfortable, and well furnished. The customer service at the reception check in was excellent,offering us all the info we could need, and complimentary mai-tais when we arrived. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, and called us the next morning to ensure we were happy with our accommodations. We will definitely rent through them again next visit, and have already recommended them to relatives and friends for future trips to the island. Thanks so much for making our stay easy and problem free!

      Home away from home in paradise

      Our condo was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. We spent relaxing time on the patio and by the pool which was only steps away. The condo is 5 minutes from the beach and good swimming an snorkeling. Will definitely return again
