Impeccably presented 2 bedroom apartment located in a wonderful waterfront position in Korcula with views across the sea to the Peljesac and of the charming Old Town of Korcula. The apartment is located on the ground floor of an old stone house, with a private entrance to the apartment. Both spacious bedrooms have been beautifully furnished to a high level of detail, each with a comfortable double bed. There is plenty of internal space with a very well equipped kitchen/dining room and a living room, essential for a self-catering holiday. As well as beautiful furnishings the apartment also includes a number of modern amenities such as a TV, ai...r-conditioning and free internet access.

Leading from the apartment is a private terrace furnished with a table and chairs, which has views of the sea and Korcula Old Town. This provides a perfect place to enjoy al-fresco dining any time of the day, with a sun umbrella provided for necessary shade during the peak sun hours.

Additional Location Information

The apartment is located right on the sea front, very close to the centre of town but far enough away to avoid the noise and crowds.

In one direction of the apartment you can visit the Monastery of Saint Nicholas and take a walk around the coast to the bay of Medvinjak. In the opposite direction, you will arrive in Korcula Town centre and can wander the narrow streets of Korcula Old Town visiting the numerous churches, museums and souvenir shops and taste local specialities at numerous restaurants and cafe-bars serving food and drink all day.

Along the street in which the apartment is located are numerous small rocky and pebble beaches, as well as several around the perimeter of the Old Town itself. The main town beach known locally as "Banja", where there is also a basketball court, trampolines and a sailing school where you can learn to sail boats, wind-surf or hire kayaks, is about a 5 minute walk from the apartment, just passed the busy marina.

The main bus station is located a few minutes walk from the apartment, where you can take a bus to other parts of the island, including Lumbarda which is popular for its sandy beaches and production of the white wine, Grk. Next to the bus station is a a taxi rank and a small port where there are taxi boats ready to ferry people to the small islets located very close to Korcula, which makes a great day trip. There are also several tourist agencies where you can hire bikes, scooters, cars, kayaks and boats, if you prefer a self-guided tour of the island. The main ports transporting people to/from Split and Dubrovnik are also located within a few minutes walk from the apartment.

There is a no private parking directly at the apartment, but you can park park on the road in which the apartment is located. If travelling by bus or boat to the island, the bus station and the port is within a few minutes walk.
