This unique Krabi villa with sea view is a gem for those seeking an experience of the real Thailand. Baan Breda is a two-storey, 484sqm property, with a 20m full length lap pool, set in 1600sqm of well tended gardens. With the Andaman Sea only a few metres away, all three bedrooms offer a glimpse of the famous Krabi islands from the balcony.
Please note however, that there is no swimming beach within walking distance of the villa.
The ground floor of the property is given over to an open plan living-dining area in keeping with the villa modern Thai style, and opening up directly on to the pool deck.

There are also many scenic routes for keen joggers or cyclists in the vicinity. Because of the relative seclusion (Ao Nang Beach is around 10 minutes drive away), car or motorbike rental will be essential if staying in Baan Breda.

Impressive.
Spacious, Able to fit a big group of people.
Great service provided, away from the busy street. So it will be very quiet.
Safe despite being located in a rural area.
Transportation around is a constraint. Especially if you want to stay out late during the nights. During the morning as well for breakfast, its either the hotel chef or a small eatery just outside if your stomach is able to take it.
Facilities are decent, though the pool tends to attract a number of insects. -

Breda Beach villa lived up to its expectations and reviews. My friends and I came here for a getaway and were fully satisfied with the overall stay.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the villa staff and were treated to a welcome drink. They instructed us on the facilities and also gave us a phone to contact them, which was the complimentary transport around town.Toilet facilities are very huge and the television provided cable TV too. It was a huge villa and we certainly were able to live in comfort!
What surprised me was the service that was provided to us, it was first class and fantastic! We booked all our activities through the villa in charge, Jae and she helped us to arrange everything at a cheaper charge. This saved us alot of time and also made our planning easy. The complimentary transport provided a round trip around ao nang and arrived within minutes of contacting them. This customer service provided by the company was certainly one of the best I have came across. Even though the driver was not able to speak much English, he still tried his best to share his knowledge and was able to pick us up promptly and at the exact location.
Location, was about 15 minutes away from ao Nang, however, but with the complementary transport, it should not be of a problem. You can also rent motorbikes to travel around and therefore location should not bother you much.
What I liked best about this place was the service that was provided, it was top notch and it is a luxury to be able to have the staff provide us with this high level of service. From the booking of activities to the 24 hours contact of a villa staff to aid your needs. Our Villa contact, Jae was able to speak excellent English and I certainly recommend this place if you are looking for a comfortable stay. Even though I stayed for 4 days only, I would certainly want to come back again!

We have just spent 10 days in Breda Villa and it was great!
We have 3 boys, 12, 7 and 5 who never switch off and this massive villa was big enough inside and outside (a good half an acre of grounds) for them to enjoy themselves immensely. Football, swimming in the awesome 20 metre pool, weird scary looking bug finding in the garden and hide and seek meant that the boys barely looked at the TV when they were back at the villa.
Well located in a quiet road near Gastropod Fossil Beach 6 km from ao Nang the Villa was just right for a large family. It has clearly been built as a home but furnished as a rental. This won't appeal at all to the 5* travellers who expect creature comforts and glamour and are happy to pay for them, however, for a normal family trying to have a great vacation at a reasonable price and not worry about their kids messing things up it was just great.
Krabi is simply brilliant wth lovely beaches, snorkelling and diving and the food was really good in most of the restaurants. The best food however, was cooked in the Villa - the Management company (Ton Company) can arrange for a chef and staff to source and cook food for you. We had this 3 times while we were there and our Christmas day meal for 10 of us was the most fantastic fresh food and only came to GBP 80!!!
Three points that you should know.
1) Ton Company provide a free Tuk Tuk to get around which is briiliant but you may want to hire a car as well. If like me you live in Singapore and have to put up with overpriced underpowered tin boxes you will enjoy hiring a monster Toyota 7 seater 3 litre truck that goes like the clappers for about Gbp30 per day (National Car Hire).
2) I would not hire this Villa if I had very young kids or they can't swim. The whole villa is designed around the (very deep) pool, it is not fenced off and it would be a nightmare trying to keep an eye on babies and toddlers. If you have very young ones save yourself the hassle and go to a smaller place with a safer pool - then come backin a few years and enjoy it when your children can swim.
3) We found Ton Company to be excellent and they really looked after us. A big thanks to Ching who was just amazing and Ton who set the whole thing up and whose background as a hotelier is clear by the way he runs such an efficient organisation.
We will definitely be back. -

Our staying at the villa was absolutely wonderful, I been looking forward for that holiday and we had memorable days with my big family.
Agency staff were always ready to help and the villa was just what I was looking for and I couldn't ask more.
Beautiful garden and swimming pool, huge rooms, a fully furnished kitchen, outdoor table, nice local neighbors.
Just perfect.
I give you a 9 ( and 0,5 point more if you buy a couple of more cabinets...) Well done guys, I'm seriously thinking to come back sometime in the next few years...
p.s. to stay at this property you need to have a car, you must have one, but if you do no problem at all -

I met several friends at the Breda Villa and the house was absolutely perfect. There were plenty of beds, rooms, and bathrooms to accommodate all of us. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped making cooking enjoyable. Furthermore, the surrounding area had excellent routes for running, walking, or biking. There was also a wonderful fresh fruit and vegetable market nearby and the town was a close moped ride away. The house offered easy access to a variety of fun activities such as climbing, boating, and shopping. Overall, we all had a wonderful time and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay.
