'Piman Pu' is a private Thai style timber pool villa constructed using traditional methods over three levels. It has some beautiful architectural features, such as doors from a buddhist temple, and terracotta roof from traditional family pottery kiln.
The villa has a beautiful 11x4 fibreglass pool - with jacuzzi - set in a private lush tropical garden.

We have just returned from our 2nd visit to Piman Pu this year alone. The house is wonderful, the pool and garden amazing, Ya and the family downstairs, who look after your needs while you are there are fantastic, which all adds up to a "small piece of heaven"

Well that was a truly fabulous experience staying in Piman Pu last week - a real privilege to enjoy your 'dream house'. So a very big thank you for creating such a wonderful space. It fully lived up to my expectations - and more.
It's an inspiring project (we read the story of the construction in your folder and were amazed at your persistence against all the odds) that fits in so beautifully to the local surroundings -
congratulations on creating something so special and unique.
All I can say is, we'd love to return again soon! -

Unterrkunft genauso wie auf den Bildern.
Lage fantastisch, Strand, Berg, Meer, Garten, Pool, Jungle.
Hier findet man Ruhe, Erholung, Natur zum niedrigen Preis.
Wir, zwei Pärchen mit zwei kleinen Kindern, haben den ruhigen und entspannten aufenthalt sehr genossen.
Der Pool ist einzigartig auf der Insel.
Der Strand mit seinen paar Bungalowanlagen ist verschlafen und traumhaft (ein einzigartiges Fleckchen Erde ohne Massentourismus). Man kann jeden Tag in einer anderen anlage Essen, nach ein paar Tagen kennt man die Gäste der anderen Unterkünfte. Sehr familär. Wobei wir bei ann (Luboa hut) dann doch sehr oft hängengeblieben sind (super Massagen und täglich Volleyball mit dem gesamten Team, immer so herzlich).
Ole und Joe, die die Bar dirket vor dem Haus betreiben sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen Super.
Das Haus ist einzigartig und genial zu gleich. Ein Naturerlebnis Tag und Nacht. Zwei Schlafzimmer (wobei eins teilweise offen ist, stört aber nicht weiter), große Küche mit Espresso Maschine (hatten leider nicht den richtigen Kaffee dafür (gemahlen)) Bad/ Toilette sauber und alles da was man braucht. Und die riesige Terrasse mit Blick auf Meer und Berg, hier haben wir die meisten Zeit unseres aufenthalt verbracht. Ein kleiner Traum.
Service: Thai Familie wohnt im EG, bringt Sicherheit, weil man nicht ganz alleine ist. Pflegen das anwesen, auf Wunsch kocht die Frau für die Gäste.
Da mein Sohn in diesem Haus eins geworden ist, werde ich diesen wirklich einzigartigen Ort niemals vergessen. Danke andrew. -

I strongly recommend you to go to Koh Jum and stay in Piman Pu! But that is assuming you are not looking for a touristy place with hustle bustle, complete service and utter luxury. What I mean to say is that it is important to come with the right expectations.
We enjoyed the local flavor of the villa, no fancy hotels or resorts as neighbors but instead a local family with cute children occasionally using the well behind the garden, as well as their poultry using our garden as a walk about. We did wake the first morning by a "coo-ka-de-dle-do" but by the second morning we had already got used to it and we did sleep like babies all through the night since all you hear is the soft noise of the ocean.
Ole and Joe, that run the small resaturant/hut by the beach in front of the villa and tend to the villa, do their best to make you feel comfortable during your stay. Ole happily cook anything local that you want for dinner unless you feel like frequenting any of the nice small restaurants along the beach that serve tasty food, There are about five to choose from and you do have to walk for 5-15 min to get there. Joe arrange any boats, excursions you need as well as tend to basically any requests that you may come up with.
Regarding the villa itself, awesome. It lives up to all the promises it makes on this site and we were pleasantly surprised to see that the owner had installed a water purifying system under the zinc. We ended up drinking the water from the tap without falling ill. That's luxury for you...

"Piman Pu" is a beach paradise - a grand timber villa in Thai style with extensive tropical gardens and beautiful sea and mountain views. It is a secluded place to relax, be with friends, and enjoy island hospitality. The swimming at high tide is great or at any tide at Coconut Beach about 500 metres from the rear of the property. I've stayed more than once, and look forward to further visits. Highly recommended!

This architecture of the building is the taste of typical and authentic Thai style, which is well deco and associated with the modern basic needs and equipments that I cannot find it anywhere else on the Island...
This place is good for short or long stay holiday...
If I want to get myself, friends and family out from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is the place to be...
Private beach, house which surrounded rain forest with the beautiful front garden, seas view accommodate by the mountain on the side, it is just a so picturesque.
This is a Paradise and absolutely place to be for holiday ... If I can, I would love to come down there once every month...

This is a dream house in a dream environment. The beauty of the surroundings are inspirational. It is a place to go to reconnect with one's inner peace and strength. There is opportunity to be active or to relax and do little. To be looked after, cooked for and taken by boat to distant islands must be one of the greatest experiences in which one can indulge.

Spent a week here with friends in early December, 2010. The description given is truly as it is! If you want comfort in the wilds, this is it. If you have any needs, local people will happily look after you. All you need bring are some books, swimming gear, shorts, sandals and T-shirts. Highly recommended!
