Our stylish, comfortable and very large apartment sits in a beautifully restored, elegant 19th century building - right in the centre of historic Krakow. Situated on a quiet street (Ul. Batorego), it has its own balcony overlooking large private gardens. And whilst this is an an unusually undisturbed part of the Old Town, it's still only 5 minutes walk from the city's famous Market Square with all its cafes, restaurants and night life. The building has been lovingly restored to a very high standard, with its stunning 19th century stained glass wooden stairwell. At 900 square feet, it's an exceptionally spacious 3-bedroomed home, renovated in... keeping with the period - a mixture of modern design with a touch of classic charm. Its light and high-ceilinged rooms have parquet flooring and two original 19th century ceramic stoves (thankfully no longer essential to warm you through the Polish winter). Two very big bedrooms sit on one side, with beautiful original art deco furniture offering plenty of storage for clothes. Then on the other, the large sitting room opens onto the kitchen diner with sliding doors offering an alternative lay-out. With a double sofabed in the living room, there is the option of making this a third bedroom for larger parties.

This apartment is our second home, designed to be functional and comfortable - with satellite TV, fully equipped kitchen, central heating, and a big bathroom. It also has a washer-drying machine and a large American-style fridge-freezer for those planning a longer stay in town. We are close to the best shops and restaurants that Krakow has to offer (and it has plenty), but we're especially fond of the great pastries in a little cake shop directly outside our front door.Read more

Additional Location Information

A six minute walk from the main square and not much further to the castle and the famous Jewish District, the apartment is excellently placed for all that Krakow has to offer. The apartment is exceptionally large, and can be arranged so that the living room can be converted into a third bedroom if required. The rear balcony offers and lovely outside prospect onto peaceful gardens. On street parking outside can be arranged for those arriving by car (at a small fee of around $15 per day). For those flying into the airport, we can also arrange a taxi transfer direct to the apartment.
