This was the 2nd visit to Bonaire for my wife and me. The first time we stayed at a B&B;, but this time we wanted to have our "own" place where we could cook and prepare some of our meals ourselves. The place is only 3-4 minutes from the airport and Marji met us there at 5 in the morning, and she was very helpful and answered all the questions we have about the place and the island in general.
The apartment is in a nice and quiet complex and definitely not a tourist place. You can hear some air traffic, but that is not that frequent and didn't bother us at all. They have a dive shop on site that we used and that was convenient and they gave us a 15% discount on air since we stayed there. The apartment is about a mile from "downtown", so we had no problem walking into town for dinner.
The apartment was nice, clean and felt very open and light. The balcony with the table and chairs was nice for breakfast or dinner, with a peaceful view over the canal. The place had a washing machine and a full kitchen, with coffee maker, blender (Margaritas with the local Tequila) etc.
Overall we had a great stay in Bonaire and the freedom of your own place is great. We would highly recommend this apartment.

That is exactly how I imagine my guests enjoying the apartment - breakfast at home prepared in your own kitchen, a glass of wine or margarita out on the terrace at sunset, picking up your tanks at the on-site dive shop, an evening walk to one of the nearby restaurants... I travel to Bonaire at least once per year for windsurfing and try to stay at one of Marji's condos in Caribbean Court every chance I get. On some trips I've missed my chance as a result of my late planning since she tends to be booked due to the quality and value of her rental units. This condo was spotlessly clean, well maintained, and tastefully decorated. The high quality linens and cute european style dishes made me feel right at home. The condo is perfectly located close to town but not so close that it's noisy. I really enjoyed the cool breeze and the view of the waterway that runs inland to the condo complex. I definitely recommend all of Marji's rental units and she's a joy to work with. Can't wait until my next stay!

We spent three weeks in March on Bonaire and were lucky to stay in this condo for a couple of days. The host was very kind and helpful, the appartment is perfect for a couple and has everything you need for a prolonged stay. The location is good, close to the city center and only 15 minutes car ride from Sorobon beach. We very much enjoyed our stay there!

This was such a nice rental. Everything was as pomised. The kitchen was fully equipped, including little often forgotten touches like dish liquid and plastic wrap. We really enjoyed our time here. The unit was close to everything. The pool was very nice and open til 10 at night. Right next door was a nice beach with good snorkeling. Especiall for the price this couldn't be beat.

We stayed three weeks in this great one bedroom apartment overlooking the canal and had a terriffic time. There is a great dive shop on site in Caribbean Court, the Plaza Resort with good restaurant, pool bar and beach are right next door and you are only one mile from the heart of Kralendijk, with great dive spots north and south of the apartment.
The apartment is fully equipped for long term visits, the bedroom air conditioned and includes mosquito netting. We were able to make an affordable vacation by eating in and you don't need to over pack because the apartment is equipped with a washer and dryer, something you don't find in many rentals.
Marji also includes many helpful reference items re: grocery shopping, restaurants and tour/sight seeing opportunities. I definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a long term place to stay on Bonaire. We found this apratment on Vrbo and owner is very prompt in responding to inquiries. -

This was a really great place to stay. It's walking distance to downtown (although a bit of a long walk). The main room is very large and includes a full kitchen, dining room table, and living room area. The balcony has a great hammock for afternoon naps. The bedroom is large. Overall, more than enough space for a couple, but it's nice to spread out, especially when you have several sets of clothes hanging out to dry at one time. If you open the doors and windows you get a big breeze that comes through the apartment - we never used the aC. The only down sides were that it's on the third floor so you have steps, but that wasn't a problem for us and contributed to the great breezes. Also, the hot water in the shower ran out really quick, but since the weather was warm this wasn't a problem. The owner, Marji, was very helpful and accomodating. We flew in really early and she let us leave our bags with her until the apartment was ready.

Just a note that on flipkey I have one property advertised but own two apartments. Jen stayed in my other unit which is in the same apartment complex. It is slightly different - so her description of the apartment does not exactly match what you see on this ad. (Top/third floor rather than second floor - hammock on the terrace, etc.). I only advertise one apartment on each rental site because they are similar but happy to provide guests with info and links to both apartments.

The accommodations were clean, well furnished and cared-for. Marji, the owner, was extremely attentive. Even brought me a blanket in the event the air conditioner was too effective (most places in Bonaire have provided me with light sheets only, as a not-too-subtle way to promote energy efficiency). The unit is very well located, close to town core, but in a quiet area. I would definitely return. In fact, I was somewhat reluctant to write this, hoping to keep this gem of a place my own little secret.

I must say, quite few things impressed us with this deal. First the owner. Over the months she responded to our each and every question very quickly, in detail and made us feel comfortable with out decision. This was our first Vrbo booking and as one can imagine we were bit nervous. Once we arrived, the location made us dropped our jaw. The unit is right on the water. It can not get any better. Also all the contents are thought about and in perfect condition. There was even a binder full of instructions, pointers, ideas and brochures.
We were on a week long scuba trip. We were supposed to do hard core 4-5+ dives a day. But the apartment and location was so nice that, we decided to take advantage and enjoy even more by spending late afternoons there or in the Plaza just next door.
The details are also very impressing.. For example, the cell phone left for the use of tenants, the directory already had owner's and few other critical numbers in it. The wireless net connection was working perfect and we ended up using G-phone and Skype for most Christmas and New year voice chatter. There was even an icebox in the house to use during our day dive trips.
We are already planning our future trips and cannot wait to be there soon. We left safe and comfortable and would recommend to other lucky future tenants.

We just returned from spending a week in the condo. Very comfortable, we felt like we were at home. It's located close to everything in Kralendijk but in a very quiet location.
The owner Marji was very helpful with information about the island.
We'll definitely stay here on our next visit to the island.
