Friendly, caring, clean and decent budget accommodation

I wanted decent clean budget accommodation for a week of diving. After all I was going to spend most of my waking hours either diving or being near the water. In the room I wanted internet to share my excitement with friends and family. What struck me about this accommodation was the friendliness of the staff and owners who'd bend over backwards to assist in any way they could.
Whilst breakfast was available each morning I only used it once as I was determined to eat my regular breakfast, which is not worth buying. On two nights that I was there the restaurant was also open for a meal (specific styles, not a large menu, but some variation). The real value of these evenings were being able to meet with other guests who were likeminded and enthusiastic about diving.
Next to the accommodation was a locked equipment room for all our dive gear complete with washing basins. Back from some dives? Rinse your gear and hang it in the gear room. The next morning everything was put back in the obligatory rental car and we made for the next dive location. Convenient! -

Our place was private, quiet, clean, and secure. The place was exactly as advertised. Roland and Irene were great hosts! Irene's short orientation was very informative. They were always available to answer questions or to give advice if we asked, but they also respected our privacy. If we go to Bonaire again, we will definitely stay there!

We actually had Irene and Rolands old flat, which is a part of the appartment-compound. It was big, cozy and had a lot of very nice local art in it. Irene and Roland was also extremly helpfull, with tips where to go, what to see, how, when, etc.. :)
All in all it was a very nice place which served as a base for our perfect diving-vacation in Bonaire. We will be back!

Roland and Irene were wonderful. They welcomed us as if we were family. They were so friendly and accomodating and made our stay even better. The accomodations were perfect for what we were looking for. The ability to cook in was key for us. But the ability to take a short walk and be in downtown Kralendijknear restaurants and shopping was great. As scuba divers, having a place to wash up and hang the equipment was vital. Having everything all together (truck rental, diving and room) made it so simple to book the trip. We would definitely recommend not only Bonaire to anyone, but would recommend they stay here! Thanks for a great stay!
