SeattleHome away from Home - Just What We Needed

After many visits to Malaysia, we wanted a change of pace from the usual hotels. Our goal was to stay in a condo that felt like home for 3 weeks as we drove and crisscrossed KL/Kelang Valley visiting friends. The condo unit is “as advertised” and we definitely achieved our goal. Summer Stay met or exceeded all our expectations. The description and features listed were accurate. The neighborhood has hustle and bustle but that’s part of what we like about Malaysia. The unit was secure, well provisioned, clean and cheery, beds were comfy, facility had secure parking for our car, and the mobile wi-fi was a life saver because we were able to use it all over KL in our visits. In addition to the big mall, local eateries and grocery stores were nearby. The condo owners/staff were upbeat, patient, and very helpful. Andrea and the team were genuinely interested in ensuring we had an excellent stay - which we did. Thank you Summer Stay team!

The management team were very helpful with us, nothing was to much trouble. The apartment was spotless and the outdoor pool was terrific,golf driving range and gym were also a bonus. Only downside was the trek to get into Kl-you have a 15 minute walk to the local bus stop followed by a 20 minute ride to the train,followed by a 30 minute journey where the local custom appears to be lets see how many sardines we can fit in this can!-avoid peak hour travel. Overall I would definetly recomment this apartment-the local bars were very good too!

Very poor experience when I arrive Kuala Lumpur. We rent a car but it no show. No one help us in airport during midnight. Finally we took a van and take a hour to this condo. The owner - Michelle wait us at the lobby around 1 hour at "3am". After check-in she introduce us some place to go and teach us how to go to it by train, taxi or shuttle. She was very patient and send me some information details by sms when she go home which is almost around 4am. The place is very nice. But the most impress me is the swimming pool and the service she provided.

Owners are friendly and helpful. Even we are during check in, they are still very patience and even help us to search for our dinner. Thank you very much.
The apartment is excellent place for family, it has almost everything you need at home. Even the mattress they've hard and soft at different room. An option for those who've back problem. The Location is close to some shopping mall. There are lots of shops within walking distance.

The apartment has everything you need, the complex it is in makes for a very pleasant place to stay in KL. Close to shopping complexes and within easy access to downtown KL, get the right taxi driver and its only 15 Ringgit.
The owners couldn't be more helpful and accommodating.

If anyone considering of going down to KL and wana feel at home, then this is the best place to rent. It is like stepping in to your own home. It is cozy, cooling, and actually really make you care free (kinda like a retirement place, if you know what I mean). Everything from the owners; friendly and welcoming; to the condominium; cozy, clean, well maintain, excellent facilities; to location; 5 minutes drive to Ikea, 1U and other malls. An excellent place for the family with almost everything you need to make yourself at home. Close proximity to a couple of major malls, shopping and food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean comfortable and quiet place. Great value stay.

If you're after something away from the hustle and bustle of KL then check out this place. About a 10 minute walk down the hill is a huge shopping mall called The Curve, and a huge Tesco hyper-market. There are plenty of food options too: just outside the apartment you'll find local coffee shops serving fabulous Malaysian food. There's also a Bavarian Bierhaus in the Curve - for those who love their weissbiers like yours truly! As an early morning runner, this location was ideal with a few testing hills. Within the complex there's an outdoor gym. There's even a driving range for the Happy Gilmores! Andrea even supplies the golf clubs! The apartment is spotless, and has cooking facilities. The laundry service within the complex is great too. There's a free shuttle bus service from the Curve Shopping Mall to Bukit Bintang in KL, which is about a 40 minute ride.
