We chose Palms Up for a gathering of extended family. The home was ideal and afforded plenty of space and privacy for all. It was even nicer than the photos had led us to expect, and the kitchen was better-equipped than that of any property we have rented in the past. The "upside down" arrangement affords ocean views from the living areas. We walked to the nearby store, diner and restaurant, and the beach was an easy walk across the street and boardwalk.
I would not recommend this property for anyone who has difficulty with stairs; the two flights are long and relatively steep; we were glad that an elderly relative had decided not to make the trip. However, there is one bedroom and bathroom on the top level adjacent to the living area, so it would have been doable for someone who mainly planned to hang out at home and enjoy the view in comfort.
I would not hesitate to rent this home again if we needed a place this large in the future. -

Just returned from a glorious week in this immaculate well decorated very comfortable home across the street from the beach! Our three families with small children fit nicely with rooms and privacy for all, and a great gathering room and decks. The house wanted for nothing and we didnt want to leave. The weather was so nice and we easily walked from home to beach and back, great for the kids! We will definitely rent here again...best place in Kure Beach.
