Set amidst the tranquility and natural beauty of Wollemi National Park on the fringes of Sydney, Rustic Spirit offers unique accommodation. There are 3 one bedroom cottages and a 2 bedroom family suite. They feature quality inclusion such as private verandahs with bush and mountain outlooks, spas, log fires, fully equipped kitchens, cotton waffle bath robes, toiletries, candles, a selection of teas & coffees, DVD player & TV.

Suitable for friend, family and romantic weekend or midweek escapes, Rustic Spirit is family friendly and can cater for group accommodation or special events.

Rustic Spirit is close to 4WD and bush walking tr...acks, pick -your-own fruit Bilpin orchards and Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens. On the 25 acre property there are many outlooks and species of native flaura and fauna for great photographic opportunities. Native animals such as wallabies, possums, echidnas and wombats can be observed at times in the grounds. A gorgeous array of birds have become accustomed to visit the bird feeders located on each verandah.

Breakfast is provided each morning.

Guests have the choice of preparing their own breakfast from the generous hamper placed in their cottage or enjoy a full breakfast in the country homestead or eat al fresco on the wide veranda with panoramic outlook. We can provide delicious lunches, dinners, morning or afternoon teas from locally sourced organic produce by prior arrangement. Alternatively choose from one the local cafes and restaurants which offer Fine Dining or more casual menus.

To have a truly relaxing escape, guests can enjoy soothing massages provided in the privacy of their own cottage. Quality body pampering products and candles made locally in the Blue Mountains, may be purchased to add to the rejuvenating aspect of our guests stay.

Kurrajong Heights is a small community on the edge of the Blue Mountains Heritage area and Wollemi National Park.
Rustic spirit is 5.5 km from the village and is a semi-rural/ bushland property. Guests can enjoy bushwalking tracks or 4 Wheel Drive exploration of local tracks. Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens, Mt Wilson Village open gardens and 'The Botanists Way' are part of the local attractions. Many guests use the Rustic Spirit as their own private retreat to eat, drink, relax and unwind. Rustic Spirit can only be reached by car. There are short walks among the landscaped gardens and untouched bushland on the property
There is a train from Sydney's Central station to Richmond, where car hire or taxis are available. The more tourist orientated attractions of The Blue Mountains are a picturesque 1 hours drive away.

  Recently stayed at Pik's cottage with my partner. It is a lovely secluded cottage with views out to the bushland. A great place for couples as there is a big spa bath and fireplace to cuddle up in front of. The standout thing about this cottage was the hospitality provided by owner Susan. The cottage has many thoughtful touches such as marshmallows for the fireplace, hot chocolate in the cupboard, we were even given a bottle of champagne and chocolates! The breakfast basket provided had more than enough variety. Overall, really loved our stay and will be back next time

  Beautiful accomidation in Beautiful Surrounds!

  Excelent private romantic get away! The owner Susan was so nice to deal with and let us be for most of our stay. She is an excelent cook, she made us the most lovely homemade corn fritters yum. Our favorite thing would had to have been the seclusion, we went on a few walks around the property and you just feel like your a million miles away from it all! We stayed in Flint Hill, a lovely little self contained cottage. It was nice and clean and even had a spa bath. Next time your looking for a romantic get away give the Rustic Spirit a go, you won't be dissapointed.
