Nusa Dua is a beautiful resort area with gorgeous beaches. Lots of activities and restaurants. This property has a beautiful room with modern design and a great location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The shopping around here is fantastic and you couldn't pick a better spot to relax! Having the restaurants/gym facilities and spa all right here was great!! Can't wait to come back!!!

I spent months looking for suitable accommodation for 2 adults, 2 kids & a baby. I wanted somewhere with newish fit-out; handy to Waterbom & central Kuta; kids club; swim-up bar; free wifi; 2 bedrooms & enclosed living area; for under $200 a night. The Baliwood apartment fit all the above criteria, so even though it only had a few reviews, I decided to take a chance & book 9 nights. On arrival I wasn't disappointed; in fact I was delighted. This apartment was everything that was advertised & more.
The owner, Christina, was very easy to communicate with via email. We were met on arrival by Gede - reception man, cleaner, go-to guy. He gave me the codes for the free wifi & his mobile number for any problems. He cleaned the apartment & replaced towels/linen every second day; always by arrangement. His English wasn't as good as Christina's, but if he couldn't understand what I was saying, she was just an email away. I had the option of paying via cash, card or Paypal; in rp or USD.
The apartment was modern & the rooms were spacious. The kitchen was well-equipped & the full-size fridge was appreciated. Christina offered to purchase groceries for our arrival. The living area was smallish but fit 5 of us OK. We liked the wall-mounted TVs in every room, & the DVD player in the living area. All 3 rooms also had their own airconditioners. The main bathroom had a separate shower & the ensuite had a shower over the bath. The beds were comfortable & had decent linen. The portacot wasn't the best I've seen, & the base was very hard, but I used cushions & a pillow from the bed & sofa to make a mattress.
The hotel was newish & compact, not a tropical resort, but still good. I arranged a tab for drinks, breakfast etc. The location was away from the madness but still handy to everything. The kids club was a room with toys, but my 1yo loved it. Staff were friendly & helpful, even though we were staying in an apartment. The only downside was no room phone - apparently one is coming.

This apartment was nicely fitted out and was great to have the space of 2 bedrooms and a lounge/kitchen, for the price of a hotel room.
We stayed here because it was close to Waterbom Park (10-15 min walk) but it was also great to be so close to the beach - 1 minute walk! We went for a stroll along the beach every morning and had breakfast on the beach, lovely and quiet locations.
So close to Kartika mall too and the airport. My husband took boats out to surf the airports Left break, one of his favourite Bali waves.
Not a hotel but still had use of the hotel pool, which was great - swim up bar! We stayed with our 2 children, it was very comfortable.
Didn't have the tropical Bali feeling that other places did but it was a high rise apartment block and was still really nice - views of the ocean from our balcony.
The waste water in the bathroom had an unpleasant smell but we just used the ensuite bathroom. -
