We love Bali. After a catastrophic experience last year (see my review on the criminal villa Puri Purnama) we decided to try again a rental, instead of the usual hotel. We gambled, we booked through Bali Soul Villas, and yes, we nailed it. We got all what you expect and need: professional advice on the best property for our needs, perfect organization, attention to details, customer care, and a big help to get well organized with kids.
Our party was 5 adults and 4 small kids: the villa was perfect, spacious, lots of place for kids to run and play still leaving the adults with breathing space and reasonable calm.
The villa is a (successful) combination of Bali modern architecture with some Mediterranean elements. You don't get the cutting edge of the modern design, but something warm, welcoming, with a much more relaxed feeling. The garden and pool are great, the premises are perfectly maintained, the staff is very nice, efficient, discreet.
The location is walking distance from the restaurants and shops of Seyminiack, but a good 15 minutes from the beach: a nice stroll, though, if you avoid the main road. -

Just spent a wonderful 3 days at this beautiful and unique villa right in the heart of Seminyak. I was a bit sceptical about it as I had not found any reviews any where on the net, but I can assure you that this is a little unknown gem! Gorgeous huge pool and separate wings for people to hang out in/sleep. This villa has a really lovely vibe and lends itself to relaxing, drinking some lovely champagne with friends in the open plan dining or just lazing by the pool with a good book! We will definitely be back. I cant recommend this place enough. I think he owners are European and have a keen eye for art and this is evident throughout the villa compound.. Love love loved it.. Bali bliss!
