Beautiful 6 bedroom villa in Kuta - Legian. Perfect for large families or groups who not only wish to enjoy the privacy of a luxury villa but also want the opportunity to experience the exuberant lifestyle of Kuta, without the need to travel with bike or car.
The private “Villa Asih” , is a very rare oasis in the middle of Legian, the heart of Kuta. Perth, Western AustraliaWonderful Haven
Left on 04/18/2013 for a stay in April 2013
Our stay at Villa asih was wonderful. It was nice and close to everything: shopping, spas and dining out.
The Villa itself is lovely and the gardens and pool were very relaxing and beautiful.
My only not so good points were: The traffic could be a little noisy. The living areas (other than the air conditioned bedrooms) could use some overhead fans, because it was hard finding a place to cool down without having to go to our bedroom.
The staff were absolutely fabulous and made us very welcome and ensured our stay was carefree and comfortable - they are an asset to Villa asih. They did our breakfasts on request and also laundry. They also did a few errands for us. It was also very helpful that they phoned through delivery meals for us, as we were having trouble doing that. They were also wonderful with my 17 month old son Levi - who was spoiled, cherished and played with constantly (along with our Nanny).
Overall a great experience, a great stay and we would definitely go back there. -

Our family of 11 stayed at the Villa asih during February 2013.
We had a superb time in Bali, and the local area- Legian, had all the services we could have needed.
The Villa itself was maintained very well and the staff were ever attentive. Their smiles greeted us everyday at breakfast, it was a beautiful way to start the day. I would not hesitate to recommend the villa as l have done to our fellow aussies.
To our beautiful Bali people we hope to return to continue our adventures. -

MelbourneGreat Holiday!!
Left on 01/14/2013 for a stay in December 2012
We stayed at Villa asih over Christmas and New Years and had a lovely time. Having a group of 8, the Villa was perfect for us to be all together, but also have our own privacy. After staying in resorts on previously trips to Bali, this Villa was perfect.
The staff were great and always on hand if we needed anything, we had breakfast cooked for us most morning which was delicious.
The location of the Villa was ideal for us, walking distance to basically everywhere. Like most other reviews have said the Villa can be a bit noisy as it is on a main road and the main living areas have no airconditioning or fans so it can be a bit stuffy.
However, I would easily recommend Villa asih to anyone!! -

Left on 10/25/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Had a family visit from end September until 13 Oct 2012 at Villa asih. A family group of ten - ages ranging from 1 year old to 71 years old. Position was excellent - able to walk to all shops, restaurants and only a short taxi ride to Discovery Centre. Beach was 15 minutes away and easily accessible. Highlights of the Villa were great pool for family fun, dining area, very good actually held a birthday party for 17 persons - great. Rooms excellent for families - showers a minor problem with drainage - staff very good - Overall a very enjoyable family experience. Would stay there again and would highly recommend to family and friends.

Perth, AustraliaOur little slice of paradise!
Left on 08/12/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We recently travelled to Bali for our wedding in July 2012. We wanted a villa as we wanted the luxury and comforts of home. It is a huge villa, we stayed with 10 adults and one infant. Never did we feel as though we were all on top of one another. There is plenty of space for everyone no matter what mood you were in and loads of interesting things for our 2 year old to explore. The staff are discreet and ready to assist when ever they were called upon. The staff were very helpful with our ever excited 2 year old being our third and fourth set of hands- particulary when it came to the stairs. The rooms were cleaned every morning and they never intruded on our privacy. This is very well priced and we hope to stay there again with family in the not too distant future. I hope the service and standards remain as this will become a very popular villa for groups of friends and families.

Victoriabit disappointed...
Left on 07/25/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Well I will go against everyone else here and say we were disappointed with our stay at Villa asih. The location was great for walking to restaurants/shops etc but extremely busy with traffic 24/7, as i had downstairs main bedroom between the traffic and water fountain & pool water feature outside my window I struggled to sleep. Upstairs main bedroom had same issues with the traffic keeping them awake. Previous reports had listed the staff as great (incl Rita?) who we didn't see, we only had 2 young girls with limited english that we barely saw, by the end of our stay they weren't asking what we wanted for breakfast next day and on the last morning I had to go looking for them to get our leftover eggs/pancakes cooked up.
The bedrooms & bathrooms are clean and spacious.
As another post said the upstairs tv/dvd is in the dining room and really should be in the downstairs living room. We couldn't access our safe in the main bedroom and asked twice for this to be fixed but it wasn't so we used another safe upstairs. The pool was very cold and really only got a little sun in the middle of the day, kids didn't use it all and the sunlounges were dirty and uninviting. The downstairs shower had no hot water the entire stay, I also complained about this but nothing happened so I would go upstairs to shower each day. It was great value for 2 families but we were disappointed after all the good reports. We also noted the booklet said staff would not enter our bedrooms without permission yet we would come home late afternoon a couple of times and all our blinds had been put down & lights on so clearly they were, and tidying things on our tables, not that we had any problems with anything though. They did provide free transport from airport and then to our next accomm in Seminyak which was appreciated.Response from Ni Made Mendri Asih - 08/07/2012
Owner
Dear Jo,
I am very sorry that the villa did not meet your expections. We are always trying our best but sometimes things can go a little wrong. Of course I will follow up what was wrong with the hot water and the safety box as we have a contract with a maintenance company for such cases and such problems should be fixed immediately.
The staff is there for cleaning and should be "invisable" for the guest as most guest wish highest privacy. I am happy to read that the rooms and bedrooms were clean, so the staff is doing their work properly. Some staff are of course sometimes on leave and as you staid only 5 days you could not see all.
Please excuse me to say this but the pool has a lot of sun and the water is very sure not very cold. We are in Bali and the sun is almost perpendicular in the sky and the garden with pool is quiet large. Of course everybody has a different feeling about cold and also about noise and I regret deeply that you could not sleep.
I thank you very much for your comments which I am taking serious and will take care that future guest will not have to complain about missing maintenance.

Innisfail, AustraliaA refuge in Legian
Left on 07/05/2012 for a stay in June 2012
Villa asih met or exceeded all of our expectations. Sometimes the online presentation is better than the reality, but that was not the case here.
We really enjoyed our stay, the layout of the villa and the placing of the pool provide great areas for social activity and also privacy for the quiet moments.
Easy walking distance to Kuta/Legian beaches and many restaurants.
You can (and we did !) party as hard as you like with privacy and security in your own luxury hotel, out of the hustle and bustle of the hotel strip.
Ideal for a group like ours of eight adults. -

This is a lovely villa with very helpful staff. We stayed for 13 nights and the location, being a short walk to many restaurants etc was great. Taxis also passed regularly. We stayed with friends (so there were two families) altogether there were five adults and six children. The staff were quiet, friendly and very helpful. The kids had an awesome time in the pool and exploring the grounds. We had a wonderful experience staying at this villa and highly recommend it.

After a few relaxing days in Sanur we came to Legian for a week entertainment and nightlife. As we were a group of 12 (incl. 2 children and 4 teenagers) we choose the villa asih for the location and the good price. After negotiation we got the whole villa for 460$ per night. We arrived very late night and were welcomed by the owner and staff. Next morning a full american breakfast and out to explore the area. It is actual only a few minutes walk to Jln Legian. A little funny feeling when we passed Ground Zero.
The villa is located directly on a bypassing road, cabs every 30 seconds so no problem to get anywhere. The villa has a large living room on the ground floor and a dining area on the first floor. 6 bedrooms are available. 2 bedrooms in a small building and 4 in the main building. The master bedroom on the ground floor main building is huge. Upstairs another large bedroom with a beautiful bathroom and two smaller bedrooms sharing one bathroom. Furniture is highest class, beds very comfortable, split a/C in each room. Our teens did not like so much to share a bed (all are double beds) so the staff put a blow-up bed in two rooms of the small building so they were also satisfied.
Staff very friendly and helpful, night watchman was also there. The garden is wonderful with beautiful water games.
The villa is perfect for large families which want to be in a central location as everything you need can be reached in minutes. The only negative I could name was the traffic noise. You will not feel it inside the villa but sleeping on a lounger at the pool is quiet difficult.
All in all a perfect Bali trip in a (for us) perfect villa. -

Great value villa in central location
Left on 02/16/2012 for a stay in May 2011
I stayed here with family group ranging from mid 30's to late 60's. The owners were great to deal with, quick and helpful responses to all email enquiries.
The villa was clean and well presented and staff very friendly and helpful.
The location is great for access to Legian and Kuta, and taxi's and transport always available when you walked on to the street. Some members of the group found the traffic a little noisy at night, but this was not a problem for most of us.
Other than a shower with poor drainage (meaning the floor would flood) the villa was in great condition and very comfortable.
The villa is great value for money, particularly given it's size and location. I would definitely stay again, and recommend to others. -

SydneyI enjoyed my stay at Villa asih
Left on 08/01/2011 for a stay in July 2011
8 of us booked Villa asih for a 10 night stay. The Villa itself is beautiful and large. There are 6 bedrooms in total. 2 are in a seperate pavillion, the downstairs bedroom had an eunsuite but the one above did not. In the main house there is 4 bedrooms. The downstairs main bedroom is very large and beautiful with own tv and dvd player - the only bedroom to have their own. Only problem is there is only a bath in the room so to shower you must use the downstairs bathroom that is seperate. Upstairs 3 bedrooms. One with large ensuite with rain shower. All bedrooms have air conditioning which is a must in bali. Other two bedrooms are smaller than the others but very nice and they share a bathroom. Upstairs there is a large open air table that can seat I think 12 people. This is where the plasma, stereo and dvd player is. We felt that this would have been more useful in the downstairs sitting area where there is a lounge to relax on rather than sitting at a meals table to watch television. The grounds are lovely and well looked after. There are ponds with fish and tropical plants, water features and a large circular pool. The pool area unfortunately only gets sun in the morning as there are a lot of trees and so not the best for sunbaking. Legian beach is a fair walk through busy streets but taxis are so cheap in bali it costs $1 to be taken down to the beach. I like that we were close to Legian Street and Padma street. The staff are very nice, there english is not the best so it was a little hard to commincate our western needs to them as they were sometimes not understanding of what we meant but we are in another country to that is to be expected. Majority of the villa is open air so you need to wear mosquito repellant if the mozzies like you. We really loved staying at Villa asih it is a big Villa and great for a large group. Easily sleeps 12 comfortably. I would reccommend this Villa to anyone wanting to be close to Kuta & Legian but still have privacy of own villa.

We stumbled across this villa by accident-- the facilities and the price almost seemed to good to be true...but rest assured everything is exactly as indicated..It is located with in walking distance of shopping ,food and beaches--Taxis are plentiful to transport you anywhere you dont want to walk to...Staff are wonderful--nothing is a problem...completely trust worthy. We are going back in December--even at Christmas it is still much more economical than hotels for families/groups ..Cant say enough good things about the Villa only wish I could live there full-time..

Left on 04/25/2011 for a stay in April 2011
When we arrived at the villa for the 1st time and we pulled into the driveway we thought wow - you wouldn't know the Villa was there !!
Welcome drinks and canapés on arrival is a fantastic introduction to the friendliness of the staff who look after you during your stay.
The main bedroom downstairs is massive !! and the three upstairs are a good size as well. There is also a separate bedroom with ensuite off the main Villa if you need a bit of privacy.
Upstairs is an open air dining room with a table that would seat 20 comfortably - it's huge!!
In the garden there is a good size round pool to take the edge of the Bali humidity and up the back there is a gazebo with comfy lounge chairs to relax and read a book.
You couldn't ask for a better location - 10 minutes from Legian beach and 5 minutes from the main shopping, restaurant and bar area. There is a bit of traffic noise when sitting outside but hey, you are in the middle of Legian at your own private oasis.
There is an extensive menu that you can choose your meals from - you decide whether you want to eat there and when. We had breakfast prepared for us each morning at a very reasonable price. On one of the evenings we chose a traditional Balinese feast with appetisers, suckling pork belly, fish in banana leaves etc and I think we paid about $Au40 for eight people - unbelievable !!! Nothing was too much trouble for the chef Yani.
I can certainly recommend Villa asih as a great place to stay in Bali - it is fantastic value for money. -

Had a great stay here, fantastic location and Rida made our stay even more enjoyable, she couldnt do enough for us. The only thing that could could be improved would be to move the TV from upstairs to the downstairs area and perhaps provide an Ipod docking station for guest use.
Othewr than that, i would hoghly recommend Villa asih to fellow travellers and would most definatley return. -

Left on 03/10/2011 for a stay in February 2011
This is by far and away one of the best values in Bali. If you're wanting to be where the action is, this is the villa you want. The owners absolutely bend over backwards to accommodate every need you might have, and the place is big and spacious. 20 meters down on the corner is a great internet cafe with great food, and all the shopping you could want is just around the bend on the main drive of Seminyak. The owners are relatively new to the rental game and eager to please so you're always taken care of. The staff are amazing and friendly; so important as you'll know when you get there. I can't say enough, everything was great, new and clean. We scoured the internet for months, and it paid off big time with this find.
