Conveniently air-conditioned, each piece of furniture has a distinctive colour and patina, its queen sized Madura bed is an authentic masterpiece, while the colonial cupboard with its classical "griffon" based is a treasure of colonial It is also furnished by a circular table with four tea chairs, a cupboard and a writing table. The breathtaking rice-field view is revealed through an ancient delicately painted Javanese panel bordered on both sides by wood louvers, diffusing a peaceful light. Bedroom 2: 2 Standard beds 1 King bed The Antique Aceh House Located close to the swimming pool is an antique house from Aceh, which is believed to be more than 100 years old. The house is on stilts, and on ground level there is an open-sided timber deck, furnished with cushioned rattan swings, a Javanese marriage bed, lazy chairs and sofas around a small table. A door leads to a bathroom with a bathtub and a standing rainshower open to a private corner of the garden, where is planted an old frangipani tree, which everyday showers the lawn with its fragrant white flowers. A wooden stepladder provides access to the air-conditioned upper floor, where guests will find a sitting room with daybeds, tea-chairs and a small circular table. From here, two steps lead to a bedroom presenting a King bed on a raised platform together with a writing table and two chairs. There is also a smaller bedroom with a large single bed and childbed. The wooden walls separating the different rooms, have a very ancient painted colour and a beau Bedroom 3: 1 Standard bed 1 King bed Master Bedroom The air-conditioned Master Bedroom is located upstairs in the main house. This expansive room showcases a very high wood-beamed ceiling showing its amazing structure, and the full-length horizontal window lets you enjoy a stunning rice field view from the king-size bed. Other furnishings include a writing table and two chairs as well as an occasional table and two tea chairs, complemented by some fascinating local artefacts, together with an authentic Buddha statue from Burma. The atmosphere of the red wooden floor and tadelakts as well as the exclusive pieces of furniture is a reminder of the profound influence of Chinese culture on Indonesian traditional art. There is also a walk-in wardrobe. To one side of the room is a wonderful balcony with a sofa, a pair of bamboo loungers, and a glorious vista overlooking the swimming pool. Bedroom 4: 1 Standard bed 1 King bed Guest Bungalow Completely independent from the main house, and resting in a corner of the garden, close to the main entrance gate, is a single-storey standalone guest bungalow. This lovely building houses a split-level bedroom and sitting area under a wooden tile roof, adjoined by a sunny garden bathroom, making it a perfect hideaway for a couple or small family. The elevated floor is dominated by a queen-size bed, while the sitting area on the lower level is furnished with a daybed (which doubles as an extra bed for a child), a table, chair and an antique barber’s chair. This air-conditioned room is embellished with a colourful carved screen wall framing a huge mirror with matching cupboard doors and panels. Accessed by a pair of antique double doors, the alfresco bathroom is crafted in polished concrete and surrounded by walls, covered by golden alameda and red heliconia flower, for privacy. It is fitted with a deep bathtub and a shower open to the sky. Bedroom 5: 2 Standard beds 1 King bed Garden Suite Positioned on the ground floor of the main house is a spacious air-conditioned bedroom furnished with one double bed, one single bed, and an antique Madurese marriage bed, making this an ideal family room or kids’ room. On its other end, it can be completely opened on the garden through sliding glass doors. The tadelakts walls are in a relaxing tone of beige, while the large wooden floor are tinted in a natural brown colour, giving the wonderful old painted band Javanese doors and furniture a perfect setting. Ancient double doors lead into a charming garden bathroom fitted with a sunken Jacuzzi tub complete with a standing shower, flanked by an ornamental pond where colourful fishes and lotus flowers offer their beauties and relaxing view.
Bathrooms	4 Total Show Details ► Bathroom 1: Full bathroom The garden suite's bathroom is also directly connected to the garden by a beautiful antique Balinese door. It contains a powerful Jacuzzi tub, tiled like the surrounding walls with natural green stones mosaic. Here again antique panels and doors are part of the scene, while a timeless painted extra-large teak floor is harmoniously matched to the dark green of the wall and the landscaped surrounding garden. Bathroom 2: Full bathroom Accessed by a pair of antique double doors, the alfresco bathroom is crafted in polished concrete and surrounded by walls, covered by golden alameda and red heliconia flower, for privacy. It is fitted with a deep bathtub and a shower open to the sky. Bathroom 3: Full bathroom A door leads to a bathroom with a bathtub and a standing rainshower open to a private corner of the garden, where is planted an old frangipani tree, which everyday showers the lawn with its fragrant white flowers. Bathroom 4: Full bathroom Each bathroom of the main house is semi-opened, offering the opportunity to take advantage of the luxurious surrounding greenery and the yearlong sweet climate on our area of the god's island. The huge shared bathroom for the two upstairs’ bedrooms is conceived like a living area, furnished with a table and chairs, displaying antique panels and sculpture, huge mirrors facing the huge mirrors and twin wash basin. Villa Artis is located in the village of Umalas, an area dotted with some of the most impressive private residences on the island. The sweeping view is enhanced on clear days by the magical sight of the Bali’s central mountain range, incorporating Mt Batukaru, Mt Sengayang and Mt Pohen. Despite the close proximity to Seminyak, the traditions of rural Bali still prevail; cows are herded through the fields and the sound of ritual music is carried on the breeze. The sweeping beach at Seminyak is renowned for its world-class surf breaks, panoramic coastline views and legendary sunsets. Umalas Riding Stables is just one kilometre from Villa Artis, while Nirwana Golf Course, designed by Greg Norman, is a 25-minute car journey. Convenient for all of the main shopping malls and tourist attractions, Villa Artis is 45 minutes’ drive from Bali’s International Airport.
A car and driver can be provided, while taxis called by phone arrive in around ten minutes or less.

What an amazingly beautiful spot this is! The owners have put great care and effort in putting everything together - the structures and their placement, furniture, decor, amenities are exceptional. They and the staff make you feel welcomed, relaxed and at home from the moment you step through the gates. We received excellent recommendations for outings and restaurants, yet were equally pleased to relax on the grounds and enjoy the delicious food prepared by the gracious staff. Our young daughters loved their unique beds surrounded by mosquito nets, sitting in the wicker "egg" chairs, jumping on the trampoline, swimming in the pool and playing with the owner's daughter in the open play area. We loved the overall feeling of the place, going for walks in the early morning, having breakfast surrounded by the greenery lotus pond. None of us wanted to leave here when it was time to go and we all hope to return one day. Our trip to Bali was made all the more memorable by our stay at Villa artis.

Just fantastique everything was great. Beautiful garden nice swimming pool, staff very good. Room with good bed and very good inspiration for décoration.
Perfect for change your Spirit. One of the best place on Bali.

C'est l'Adresse Idéale pour un atterrissage tout en douceur à Bali.
Nous y avons passé un séjour de rêve.
Le cadre est enchanteur avec une vue splendide sur les rizières, la décoration est raffinée à l'extrême, la cuisine aux saveurs exotiques est un régal pour les yeux et les papilles. L'équipe d'une discrétion absolue a répondu à nos moindres attentes et la Famille qui nous a accueilli a fait de notre séjour un instant magique.
C'est une adresse que nous recommandons et où nous retournerons sans hésitations.

When we arrived in Bali after 20 hours of flight we just dreamed to find the place where you can feel at home: this is the place! . Christophe welcome was so sweet and what about the house after a short trip from the airport. The main house is just beautiful with the 360 view on the rice field. And these so charming bungalows javanese style are just fantastic not to mention the taste of all furnitures. The warm discrete service from the chef to the discrete kindness of the maids made us feel totally at home. All this ten minutes close to all fancy restaurants, bars and shops but in the middle of the rice fields !! The only problem is that we felt so good that we did not want to leave home to visit Bali...

Nous avons passé deux semaines de rêves dans un endroit magique, hors du temps. Un enchantement permanent. Tout est beau, aménagé avec tact et goût, le bonheur intégral. L'espace, la vue, les différents lieux de cette maison sont conçus pour le repos, le plaisir. La vue est inouïe. Probablement le plus bel endroit de Bali. L'équipe qui s'occupe de la maison et des repas est discrète, souriante, intelligente. Je regrette de donner cette info, tant je voudrais la garder pour moi. Merci encore pour ces deux semaines de bonheur.

This place is heavan on earth! The staff is friendly; you can ask them for anyhing... Laundry, shopping, cooking, ironing and taking amazing care of your litle ones... Security guards are always present but discreet. 5 star service indeed. The food is incredible... One of if not the best rental villas in Bali. Oh, I almost forgot, the vue is beathtaking.
