Melbourne, AustraliaPeaceful with loads of room
Left on 02/20/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Stayed only one night but could have stayed for a week. Good nights sleep on comfortable beds - no traffic noises. Booked the spa so that we could use on arrival - perfect! Ideal location as only 2 mins to town. Friendly hosts were kind enough to point out places to visit in the area. ...but to be quite honest wished we had more time to just enjoy and relax at 'Myamba"
Added bonus was being able to cook in the fully self contained kitchen .. would be very useful if staying for more than a few days. Also liked our own private spa bath. -

australiaVery disappointing

Very disappointed
The air conditioner leaked water down the wall and shorted out the Tv's power board.
Tried to contact the owner to no response - consequently no cooling available in 35 degrees.
Should not have the spa noted on the website if not keen for the guests to use
On the plus side - claen and tidy
Owner offered free night to compensate but this does not suit as we were just visiting for a wedding - would have preferred a discount but it was made very clear that this would not be happening
You should be publishing this - a reality check !Response from Susan Foster - 02/21/2013

I did refer the phone to my mobile and you only rang once we answered your call back and there was no answer on your side. Shame as my son only lives around the corner he could of helped. In the Kitchen there is a sign saying in an emergency to ring 54223581. I didn't heat the spa as I was told that guests were going to go to a wedding for the afternoon and could they book in early to get ready to go, which I allowed. I didn't know that there was their teenagers who were staying behind to play in the spa. If I had known I would of heated the spa. I like to save the environment is there any shame in that-NO. I didn't do anything wrong so no refund should of been demanded. We do have a heated spa insde the accommodation.

Our company used Myamba B&B; to accommodate a number of staff during a 6 month project in the region. All staff found the accommodation to be perfect for their requirements - always clean and tidy, quiet, a great kitchen and other extras you don't get in a normal motel environment.
