The house has been lovingly renovated and restored yet still retains its historic charm and is a delightful home away from home. Delicious Breakfast Provisions. Kyneton is just one hour from Melbourne CBD is a regional town full of history, fine restaurants and close to natural beauty such as Mount Macedon and Hanging Rock.
Kyneton is also on the Bendigo train line and there is a very short bus ride from the station to the town hall and then a two minute walk to the house.

Great little cottage in a convenient location

We stayed in Kyneton to go to the races and Isabella at Kyneton is right in town so you can walk everywhere. The cottage is well set up and has a great backyard. Breakfast provisions are provided and there are heaps of choices of what to eat. There are lots of lovely touches too - bath robes, fresh flowers, shortbread biscuits and fruit as well as all the comforts of home - a dvd collection and library and comfy furniture. Before our arrival Dianne contacted us and we were provided with a really comprehensive information pack that she had targetted to our interests which was fantastic and Dianne was most helpful and considerate before and during our stay. She even arranged for us to have an early check in and a late check out which was great because we could go straight on to the Sunday races. We enjoyed sitting out in the backyard and there was even a friendly neighbourhood cat who came to sit with us outside and liked a pat. This place reminded me very much of an aunt's place that I used to stay with as a child so it brought back fond memories. Thanks for a great stay.

The house is just beautiful and everything you could possibly need is provided. The kitchen and pantry are well stocked and the breakfast provisions were great - keep a lookout for the pancake mix in the cupboard and the yummy hot chocolate!

I booked Isabella for a weekend away in Kyneton with my husband and mother. Isabella was the perfect base for our weekend. The house is beautifully appointed with lovely attention to detail: big comfortable beds, quality towels and bedding, heaters in every room to keep it toasty and a nice gas fire in the loungeroom. The kitchen was abundantly stocked with everything we needed for a quick healthy breakfast on Saturday (heaps of cereals, toast, yogurt and jam) and for a full cooked breakfast on Sunday.
Di, the owner, was very helpful and sent us suggestions for places to eat and things to do and rang us upon arrival to make sure we got into the house ok.
The house is just off the main road, so a 1 minute walk to great cofee (from Mr Pierre) and the newsagent and bakery, only a 10 minute walk from the restaurants on Piper Street (amke sure you book in for dinner at Mr Carsisi) and about a 15 minute walk down to the river.
Highly recommended. -

This cottage is in a very handy location in Kyneton. Di has thought of so many things to help her guests enjoy their stay. The cottage is worth every one of it's four stars and the generous breakfast provisions provide a lot of choice. The modern kitchen makes self catering easy but it's hard to resist the many dining options nearby. There are so many little extras provided to make your stay comfortable. Thanks so much for our lovely stay.

This was our third stay at Isabella and we love coming back. It has fantastic faciilities and it is so comfortable, a complete home away from home. Spotlessly clean and has every thing you could possibly need. My wife and I would highly recommend Isabella at Kyneton.
